Dr. Jacob Tonozzi is by far the best eye Dr Ive ever been to. I have always left my eye appointments not being able to see 100%, it was always just a little bit blurry - not this time! The Dr said he just had to fine-tune my prescription a little bit & now I see better than I ever have before! Plus, he found me contacts that I can wear all day and they are really comfortable - the ones I was sold before irritated my eyes and I could only wear them a few hours at a time. I will be recommending him to everyone.

Had a previous negative review that I felt deserved to be changed after speaking with patient relations today. Sam from MyEyeDr actually emphasized with me and even if I did not get my glasses in time (won’t be able to pick up due to hours of operation) until next week, because of her I will continue business. I wish store level had her level of patience and empathy.

Best place for eye testing. NEVER purchase glasses (eyewear) from them. It gonna take forever to get them. I ordered mine, after 10 days of promise date, I called them to get an update about my order, they said wait 15 days more. After 15 days you may expect to get them, not promise.Above said statement is based on experience. Its not for defaming MyEyeDr. This will be helpful for the peoples who need glass urgently, never purchase glasses (eyewear) from MyEyeDr.

I started going to the Governors Ave. location first. but ended up at the Forrest Ave. location due to back up in appts at the other location. My first impression after waiting forever was that Dr. Tonozzi was a cool dude we cut up, had my exam done in a timely manner and got some trial contacts..but back on the sales floor the guy that helped me was completely lost. got me to buy into a product and promised a $25 mail in rebate (which I later found to be in-applicable). I got bi-weekly contacts. Waited weeks to get, was refused another trial pair while I waited..only to find out the contacts were shipped to the wrong address..an address Ive never had (mix up with another client maybe?) they also made me jump through hoops to get all this special testing done that I had to pay cash out of pocket for because they said I had enlarged and damage optic nerves and they thought I was pre-cataracts. to which I thought maybe because I Did have an eye trauma a few years back and yet i cannot get a simple tint waver signed? So you acknowledge that I have damaged nerves, make me pay out of pocket because the tests are considered medical not optical..after all of this I will be taking my business else where..Id rather get what I pay for. oh and my favorite part of it all is when I called and asked to speak to the Dr. at 1030am I was told he was at lunch because his last patient for the day came early and he saw them... if anyone has been there, you know you dont get seen 30 mins. before youre appt.. its like 30 mins after.. so I said he takes lunch at 1030 am? and the lady got defensive and I said so why is he on lunch if hes seen all his patients for the day? why wouldnt he just finish his paperwork and leave and she DEFLECTED.. very interesting interactions Ive had with this group...

Nice clean office. Everyone in the office very knowledgeable. Great selection of glasses for everyones liking. I was in and out in about 30 minutes time. I have been coming to the Dover Forrest location for 2 years and the service is always the same. Very accommodating with my work schedule. I would highly recommend.Thank you Khyle for your patience. I had to try on 100 pairs of glasses. You never rushed me. You said *I want you to be happy*, that meant so much..Thank you Madeline for ways greeting me with a smile...*its the little things...Thank you to the Receptionist for accommodating my busy schedule..Thank you to the staff that workes in the back. You are all appreciated. What you do does not go unnoticed!!

Fantastic customer service! Start to finish, I spent less than half an hour and I was a brand new patient. The doctor was easy going and professional and the ladies that helped me were fabulous all the way around. I also received a year’s supply of contacts in just 2 days! Definitely would recommend to anyone needing eye care and I’ll be back again next year!

Had my contact fitting done. Doctor and staff were very helpful/professional. I went in not knowing anything about contacts, but when I left staff had me fully informed on what exactly worked for me.After a few trial and errors, we found a perfect fit/prescription for my situation.Very satisfied with service.

The hours offered are flexible which is really helpful & can meet almost any need of various job schedules. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable, and the company accepts most insurances. The selections of eyeglass frames is great too.

My wife and I had our appointments one after the other. The staff was courteous and friendly. Dr Ryan Halpern was very knowledgeable and was patient with us and explained everything. We had our eyes mapped by a giant machine that resembles something from a science-fiction movie. We are very happy with how we were treated and recommend this location to anyone.

Absolutely horrible horrible ! I will not be returning . I have been a customer and my son way back when they were Halpern. Every single time I order contacts they screw up my order or say they contacted me to let me know they were in . A complete lie! They also said they tried to contact me more then once to let me know that they were in but miraculously I have zero calls on my log from them . Now I can after waiting 2 weeks for my contacts reorder and wait again . And asking for a refund ...well they will “MAIL” it to me . Worst place ever!

I have been coming here for the last five years. All I wanna do I schedule an eye contact exam so I can get some contacts to drive to work since I work that late shift. They said I couldnt schedual one this week and that’s wasn’t a problem, I’ll grab one next week. When I asked for just a trial pair to get me to work for the next couple days of the night shift she said there was nothing she can do since I haven had my exam. She told me I had to go in and by glasses, I live pay check to play check trying to support my family and it’s the only option I have to get me to work at midnight. Then I can turn around spend more money on the same company on contacts instead later next week week. I had been in there plenty of times to grab trial pairs of contacts before my actual exam date. Even worse we came off the labor day weekend so I haven been able to get a hold of this office in days. When I asked if there was a manager I could speak too, she told me no manager was in on this specific day. This place has always been my go to for eye exams, ever since I moved to dover. But now I see what this place really is, just a bunch of bureaucrats behind a reception desk.

I like going here. The staff are nice and welcoming to my family and I. They are helpful when figuring out what my insurance covers. I wish Cassie was still there. But all staff is very nice.

Their wait time is always unnecessarily long. They give you a hard time to print your prescription because they are so pushy for you to purchase their glasses in house. Not impressed at all. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and at this point I’m ready to move on.

They need to change their hours on here. Not happy at all. I drove 40 minutes just to find out they were closed. The hours on here are 8-8. Their door said they closed at 6. I showed up at 7

I bought a pair of glasses and the first pair went bad in two weeks they gave my wife a pair under warranty and then the same problem happened a month later come to find out no manufacture warranty the warranty of the food was used so they told us to come back in and pick out another pair the pair that was picked out was no longer available in any store and all they could help her with was the exact same pair that broke I don’t understand how you pay all this money and all you get is nothing for your money so if this review is being looked at by supervising the management of my old doctor in with you or corporate you can reach me at
