I took my 5 year old for check up and she had to have 2 baby teeth extracted they were very patient with her and did an excellent job no tears would definitely recommend

No STARS!!! This place is understaffed. No customer service etiquette. I have been rescheduled twice already and I called back today 6/28/21 and now I have to be rescheduled for January 2022. I need to get my grandson in for his annual check-up. I had to switch schedules with my oldest grandson for the youngest to get his checkup before school. I am frustrated about it all. I am a grandma raising two boys and I need help with keeping them healthy. I hope I can find another dentist soon. Im done😡

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star! My 3 kids had an appointment for 7:30, 8:00 and 9:00 on May 25th 2021. I was told to arrive on time or they wont be seen. I arrived at 7:15 and when I arrived I realized they dont even open until 8:00. After they opened, I was attempting to sign in and I was told my kids arent scheduled to come in today because a (dishonest) staff member decided to reschedule their appointment (without my knowledge) to August for whatever reason, then pretended they tried to call me and left so called messages. No phone calls or messages was ever received. The receptionist gave me paperwork to fill out since she claimed people supposedly cancelled while I was there and that my kids will be able to fill the cancelled spots. Well I filled out paperwork and still sat their 3 hours. They only saw one of my kids. After sitting for 3 hours I decided to leave but they kept the paperwork that I filled out for all 3 kids so I guess they will pretend they saw all of my kids but I plan to notify medicaid just in case fraud is attempted by this dishonest office. I even tried to reschedule my other 2 kids and I was told they wont be able to see them until December!!! I would not recommend this Dentist office at all. The staff (everyone that works in the front office) is rude, dishonest and have no care for your needs or frustration that THEY cause. The supervisor is the worst! Dont waste your time going to her with a problem. She doesnt care or try to resolve any issues. I believe she is just as fake and dishonest as the people she supposedly supervises.

Dont miss the confirmation phone call!!! Heaven for bid you have a life and cant call them back because they cancel the appointment. Even if you have made the appointment months in advance they dont care. They only call you once the day before the appointment. I mean just because you didnt answer doesnt mean you arent going to show up for that appointment. I missed work for nothing!!! I wish we had more options to take our children who have medicade for dental insurance.

The first time I took my little boy my nurse was not too nice. He and I were scared to go back. We went back yesterday and had a different nurse and she was beyond nice to me and my baby. He is no longer scared to go to the dentist. She cured his anxiety of that!!!!!

Angel was our hygienist today. She was very kind and handle my son the best I have seen when it came to any cleaning. He was happy going in and well as leaving out. Great job and keep up the good work.

When I called to make the appointment, the girl who booked our appointment was extremely short tempered, unfortunately. But they were able to get him in the same day (emergency appointment). Her attitude was so mean and unfriendly I was unsure about bringing him, but had no other options.Dentist and dentist assistant, everyone in the back was GREAT. Dentist makes everything so comfortable for the kid(s). Super friendly compared to everyone in the front desk/ waiting area. It was actually shocking at how nice the dentist and dentist assistant was compared to everyone else.Front desk is unfriendly and short tempered with horrible attitudes. Going to bring my son back but definitely dislike the attitudes with the front desk.

This is by far the best pediatric center I’ve been to in a while. Ms. White is sooo awesome and very gentle with the children. The staff is amazing and very supportive. I’d recommend this establishment any time.

Dothan Location is great! Dr.Govan was great with my kids especially my son. The dental staff is very patient oriented as well and very informative about your child oral health. Highly recommended for your kids vision and dental needs.

Called to verify my 2 year olds appointment and the woman I talked to was short and snippy with me. She told me that I would be presented with 2 mask upon arrival which I then told her that my two year old was not going to be able to wear a mask. She then repeated that he WOULD have to wear one if he was to enter the building. My toddler doesn’t even like wearing shoes, socks or a hat, much less a piece of paper over his face. I’ve had my appointment booked for 4 months and never had to deal with such a rude incompetent woman from here before.

The dental hygienist was super rude and she had to bring the manager in just for a couple of questions I had I hate coming here but it’s the only place in Dothan that excepts Medicaid but their mannerisms towards people is horrible !!! The office manager was super nice and explained to me the process !! She was great but the woman cleaning my child teeth just acted like I was a problem and made me feel super uncomfortable!

Angel is a very nice person she makes the patient laugh alot i known here for years and shes a nice kind person.

Called to check on my sons appt to find that the appt was scheduled in Enterprise. The women who answered the phone was very rude and said we don’t make appts for enterprise, when I never said they did. I had called through another number for the dr directly because I went through my insurance company. I never said it was this locations fault, I was just upset because Enterprise is over 30mls away from us. So, when I asked her if they could still see my son, she went on to say we have two drs and the location your appt is at only has one, so no we can’t see him, our next appt is in June. It’s the beginning of March, how can a location with 2 drs not have an appt or opening for 3months? That’s ridiculous, I called Enterprise and the appt was supposed to be for today and they had us down for the 22nd of March, but the girl apologized even though wasn’t her fault and she said you can go ahead and come on in we can still see you. Wow, the place that only has one dr. Can still see us even though they didn’t have an appt for us today it wasn’t for several weeks. Maybe driving the extra distance to go out to enterprise is worth it if I’m going to be treated with respect and courtesy and they clearly can handle their patient work load with even one dr. So, I’ll be going to Enterprise location, Dothan needs to get their front staff girls in check on how they are speaking to their patients and potential patients.

Lady at the front desk extremely rude said she tried to call to cancel our appointment we live over an hour away she didnt get in touch with me so therefore she should have kept trying instead of just letting me show up driving my 3-month-old baby 2 year old baby with me to the appointment for nothing.

I loved the staff, which were extremely busy taking care of paperwork and patients in the middle stressful situations caused by Covid-19 concerns. They were polite and prompt. My 14 year old son was pleased with his treatment and we will continue to use them as his dentist based on our experience today. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

This is the second appointment since July, my grandsons appointment has been rescheduled, cause we arent allowing a two year old to go in a dentist office alone. My daughter drove 40 mins to the dentist office to find out, it has to be rescheduled again cause she wont be allowed to go back with her two year old in October and cause she was at her new job and didnt confirm appointment. Have to wait until November to go with her toddler. Whose sending their two year old toddler into a dentist office alone?!

As an employee of Sarrell Dental I would like to take the time not only as an employee but as a patients parent and thank this amazing company I get to call my employer, as many of you know we have been closed for several weeks and will remain closed for several weeks, as a mom of 2 small children I became very stressed about lots of things one being how would we make it financially as many others are also stressing about this issue I can say with a heavy heart I do not have this issue to worry about, my employer has gone above and beyond to make sure that not only are our patients being taken care of but that the employees are also being taken care of, I can lay my head down at night knowing I work for an AMAZING company and so very excited to work many many years with my sweet work family ❤ missing all of my sweet patients and work family and hope to see everyone very soon ❤

I overhead an employee talking about the office manager gave a patient a gift card to a store for them to remove their bad review they wrote.Plan on 2-3 hour wait for a normal quick cleaning. Im not sure how 1-3 hygienist are supposed to clean 60+ kids teeth a day!

This place is awful! First, they cancelled both my childrens appointments for today. Due to they said they called Friday and I didnt answer. I asked if that was a policy and could I see that I signed such form. So they decided to work in both children. Two hours later they call me back to day they cant see one child because she has a scratch on her cheek. Then ask what I think, and do I think she should see my child. So she gave me the choice and I chose for her to continue and clean my childs teeth. Then she says that she refuses to because shes afraid its something contagious from the playground. I say well what could it be? Its a scratch! She says well I dont know the name of it but its passed around at school from touching. I asked was it impetigo she was referring to (me being a nurse) and she says no Im unsure. So child one is refused. Child two is back another hour and comes out to tell me they didnt even clean his teeth. They fixed a tooth, that I was unaware needed fixing. And that she accidentally stuck him twice in the wrong spot. The check out lady was very nice and kept apologizing for all that happened. If I could rate a negative star I would. This place is very unprofessional and they really need to improve on there people skills.

I’ve never been to any medical facility that had so many disrespectful people. Their lack of remorse for everyone that spends HOURS there was appalling. The only one that was respectful and showed any remorse for us being there for over 3 and a half hours was the doctor herself. When I thought the receptionist was asking me a question she snapped off “I was talking to her, ma’am”. If you didn’t want it to be perceived as rude, then you should probably check your tone. That’s the advice for everyone in that building that we saw, minus the Doctor.

My daughters had a great first visit here. The front desk lady was very kind, the lady that took their vitals and x-ray was nice, & the hygienist was THE best! We didnt get a long visit with the dentist, but she seemed nice. We were able to go to the back with them and be apart of the whole experience. The children were explained everything in advance and treated kindly.The waiting area is huge, has some activities for the kids, and a tv mounted on the wall was playing a childrens movie. There was a large and well taken care of fish tank as well. There seemed to be only one restroom and its located in the waiting area. So, once we were in the room we had to walk back to the front to use the restroom. Thats the only downside I could think of.This was our experience for the first visit, well see how all the rest go.-Ashley Wiggins

They take way to long to treat you. Had appointments set up for Friday at 3 but they keep rescheduling. Prefer for Friday’s afternoon but doctors are lazy and want to go home

Quick and efficient cleaning! My dental hygienist, Wendy, was sweet and thorough and so was my dentist. I have been going here for years and would highly recommend Sarrell Dental.

My wife and son drove an hour each way to see this office as my insurance has limited options for a pediatric dentist. According to my insurance company they are a pediatric dentist. After about an hour of waiting, getting forms/insurance taken care of and being seen the dentist informed by wife that they are not a pediatric dentist and would not be comfortable treating my son as he may need to be sedated to get his cavities fixed. So my wife was provided a list of pediatric dentists. I am confused...why does my insurance company think and their website say they are a pediatric dentist then tell my wife and son they are not?!?! I will be letting my insurance company know this information.

This is my all time hands down favorite dentist for my kids. I have 3 kids ages 13,8,&5 and my youngest just had to get her first filling done and they did amazing. She wasnt scared they talked to her the whole time and we get to go back with the kids. A++++. The doctors, assistants, and front desk ladies are all amazing.

This place is a joke. Unfortunately if u have Medicaid you are forced to use the fools. Rude and inconsiderate. My child is 2 and complains of a toothache and they refused to work him in and tried to schedule me for a month out. Listen just because we have Medicaid doesn’t mean you can treat my child like he is not important. Screw u saarrell dental I would rather pay cash somewhere then to bring my child to you.Update the patient advocate contacted me and apologized. Now my son has a appointment for Monday. Dr. Mount is the the BEST and most detailed dentist I have ever had! I am so thankful she makes the experience really great every time. Thank God there are people like her in the dental profession.

We had a very pleasant experience today for our first visit. Everyone was kind, and helped my daughter feel safe and comfortable. Tgey explained every step from beginning to end. Our dental hygienist was just amazing.

I confirmed my kids appointment for the 20th and they tell me I didnt reply. I received and auto call from the office. I wouldnt recommend this office anyway they are very very slow and takes forever. They always want to reschedule for any reson. They are very rude the lady who I spoke with on the today.

I had an appointment for my daughter April 13th that I took off work for. I got there and the office was closed. I didn’t get a call or a voicemail from them. This is not the first time this has happened. I will not use themAgain they are unprofessional

Receptionist are rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, the entire time I was in the waiting area they talked out loud about everyone that walked through the door (not caring if other people heard them or not). The receptionist talked about the clients out loud and openly, they broke so many HIPPA laws that I dont see how they are still in operation. This place is a sick joke, I wouldnt take my dog there!!!

My daughter likes the dental care here. And if I need them in an emergency, I can get in the same day.

Horrible service.! The staff mainly are incompetent, uninformed and 100% rude, displeasant with lack of care for any patient or their parent. Angel the dental hygienist is by far the only shining light. This place being a face to assist children is far from it. Do better and learn common courtesy.

The front desk is really nice but the lady who was cleaning my teeth was very rude and the doctor wanted to pull out 4 of my teeth that wasn’t even ready to come out yet and it only took like 7 minutes which is to fast to do all of that and wasn’t happy

All thay want is money thay will make more then you pay. And thay told me my kids have 10 to 12 cavities and i got a second opinion and thay only have 2 cavities and dont go to sarrell dental thay just want more money thay dont care about there teeth at all

The orthodontist here is terrible and rude. Staff was not pleasant at all. After waiting in the lobby for hours my child was not seen due to allergies. The orthodontist was afraid she would catch something. We will not be going back.

Very bad attention my son had 43 minutes cemented for a simple clean while two alleged dentists talk and talk behind the chair of my son when I went to complain that she was the manager inmaginense if she is the crimp and thus works slowly as It will be then the employees and then they scold me because I am standing at the door because I have two children and I looked at the two of them, it is not convenient for one to be stopped so that one does not realize his bad work since 1:30 I came going out at 4 is disrespectful
