I was in a little accident and fell and broke my right hip. The good news is I had Dr. Sarb as my surgeon. He is a great orthopedic surgeon and a very nice and caring person. If you need an orthopedic doctor you will not be sorry to make an appointment with him. Also, his whole staff are the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet.

Dr Sarb is an Excellent surgeon and tells it like it is, which is the way it should be.I appreciate his honesty and integrity of his choice of being a good orthopedic surgeon.He has me back on 2 feet and Im doing well with my recovery.

Dr. Sarb is very up front about what is going on with you as a patient. He does not sugar-coat what needs to be done and I found that honesty very refreshing. I have been a patient of Dr Sarbs for three years. I was impressed initially by his warmth and willingness to listen carefully to my concerns, and my esteem for him as a physician and surgeon has only grown over time. I recently had both knees replaced and I am so pleased with the results. These surgeries were my first and he fully explained what the operations would entail and thoroughly answered my questions. Pre- and post-surgery, his bedside manner was excellent, caring and compassionate and truly concerned for my well-being. His clinic is staffed with caring and competent professionals and even as his practice has grown in Dickson I have rarely experienced long waits. I would without hesitation recommend Dr Sarb to friends and family.

While I am sure Dr. Sarb is very proficient at operating on people, I would recommend those who are suffering from hip pain to go ahead and look for a different doctor. Dr. Sarb lacked bedside manners and had very little empathy for my father. Dr. Sarb had a real “deal with it” attitude regarding my fathers need for medical help. I really hope Doc reflects on how he treated my father and decides to treat his patients better.

This is the greatest hip replacement doctor any body could hope for.An extremely great surgeon and wonderful human being. My right hip feels brand new.I will always be grateful. I am looking for to my left hip surgery in the fall.

Saw Dr. Sarb for few different reasons. He is very good pre-surgery but post-surgery care in his practice lacks a lot. The front employees were not much help. I contacted Medicare with my concerns on post-surgical care. He was quick to discuss the upfront information, but no much on follow-up. I would not recommend him and my surgery was at TriStar in Dickson. I would not go back there at all. It was my first and only stay.

I have to say that I am a little biased as I am a. Employee of HCO, however, after recently experiencing a back injury , both Dr. David Neblett and Dr. Matthew Sarb were very caring and provided great care. When I had a turn for the worse and could no longer hide the pain, Dr Sarb ordered X-rays to make sure it wasn’t something more than a muscle injury. Because of the amazing care and commitment they have is the very reason other family members of mine are patients here also. When you know the excellent level of care they will get, you encourage them to see your physicians!! Thank you Dr Sarb and Dr Neblett for being so amazing!!

Top notch, I have been to other facilities and Doctors but now I will not go anywhere else if I have an orthopedic issue. Dr. Mathew Sarb is the best in my opinion.

I was nervous and stressed out my first appointment but the whole staff was great. Dr Sarb explained things to me and treated me like I mattered. Even though I babbled like I do when Im anxious. But he treated my hand, got me a brace without fighting months to get, got me into physical theraphy and took me on as a new patient. Nice to know Im in good hands again. Next visit Ill be more relaxed now that there are some Drs out that that care about you and not just making money or your visits stressful.. Thank you all for making my first visit good.

Does not comumicate with you or other D I ctors when in Hospital. Does not give you clear time lines of what he is doing .Does not have good bed side manner because of his lacknof communication skills

I was in the Dickson office today. 2/17/2020 and everyone was so friendly. I really appreciate how kind everyone was. They all seemed to care that I was in pain. I saw the nurse practitioner, Melynda and she was FANTASTIC!!! She went through the xrays with me and explained everything in great detail. She then went over my options. Again, she explained everything with lots of detail and helped put my mind at ease. I feel like I’m in great hands and look forward to working with her and the rest of the staff in the future.Sincerely,Robin Taylor

Dr. Sarb explains everything in a manner that is easily to understand and takes the time to answer questions about what needs or doesnt need to be done and is not afraid to tell you if there is something that he does not know. He also has a wonderful bedside manner that goes well with his easy going personally. I would and have referred patients to him.

Every appointment I was seen at least 1hr past my appointment time just to spend 4min with Dr sarb. Last appt I told him my concerns and he didnt even look at my foot just the exray

Dr Matthew Sarb and his staff were very friendly. Just being there for a short time, I felt so comfortable. Dr Sarb was great and he explained the whole process to me. Im so happy that I chose him to do my knee replacement.

My son had to go see him for a football injury. I was very pleased. He was very personable, had great communication where I could understand and even called the football coach to discuss my sons injuries and the plan for healing. Most doctors rush and dont care. Would definately recommend. He is really good with kids.

Dr. Sarb is one of the nicest Drs. I have. He really cared about me when my hip was fractured and was hard to find the fracture. He worked about it and did all the tests he could do to find the fracture. Finally doing surgery and successfully fixing it. He did a wonderful job and continues to care for me. I would recommend him anytime.

He missed a fracture and caused a2nd surgery on my 10 year old and then after all the healing my son breaks his pinky on the same hand...smh ER referred him again and this time he refused to see my son after 5 days of him being in pain after he made the appt......smh

I am 29 years old and visited this doctors office recently. I have been seen by the ER Dept at Horizon Medical two times for bad neck and shoulder pain. I had two separate x-rays one for my shoulder ,and then finally my neck. I found out this last x-ray showed I have a herniated disc between my c6 and c7 vertebrae in my spine. However, this doctors opinion was that, I had a curvature in my neck but that it could be from bad posture. And then coldly and matter of fact said Ill have the nurse send over a steroid dose pack for pain. Wow! My only thought was that he thought I came in just for pain meds..I felt completely ignored and preexamined afterward. He didnt offer me any type of pain relief so I left his office in tears and upset. Im not a complaining or nagging person. Nor do u believe in a bad for business approach. I just want to be treated like a human being. Esp when I go into unfamiliar territory and being so young. I just want others to know what they may or may not be dealing with. Because not everyone goes around looking for painkillers that it may be as a matter of fact we are in pain! I will say the nurse that triaged me was really nice. So I guess I predetermined the rest of my visit..big mistake.
