A wonderful place. My Dad (Richard)very much appreciated the care and kindness he received from the beautiful nursing team. I couldn’t speak more highly of them ... and how they helped our family though difficult times. I will be forever appreciative.

My brother was at Aurora for over a year, and we had a very nice experience with the staff and visiting him. He received excellent and compassionate care the entire time he was there. We would often bring meals to him and enjoyed sharing them with him in a private dining room. They were always giving him excellent nursing care, and he enjoyed interacting with him. He contracted the COVID-19 virus and we could not visit him in person. However, they gave him the phone to talk to us whenever we called. We brought him cards and balloons to cheer him up, which they took to him for us. One of his nurses, Jessica, was with him the morning he died and held his hand to comfort him because we couldn’t be there. We are so grateful that she was able to do this loving thing for him.We are very thankful for all his care at Aurora.

Thanks so much to the beautiful nursing team for all that you did for my father. You made my challenging travels from Australia easier and I know my father deeply appreciated your care and friendship!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please, if you care about your loved ones or your sanity do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Dont work here, dont let people whom you care about stay here...If there was an option for it Id put 0 stars as a rating.

My mother entered hospice care at this facility in November of 2019. She was given the very best care we could imagine or hope for. If ten stars was an option, thats what I would give it.

Professional, Clean, Quiet environment for one to rehabilitate and rest. 5 Stars :)

I can not say enough good things about the wonderfull care my sister carol received at aurora the staff are the best kind considerate patient and understanding doesnt even begin to describe the care she received i highly recomend this facility to anyone who needs this kind of service they are the best thank aurora you made her last days so much easier we will never forget your help wally and vicky reeves

Overall the place appeared to be ok? However...the administrators attempted to incite in-fighting between family members all of it based on falsehoods. Also be careful of the accounting department as they cash checks without entering them into your account. I plan to have the state do an audit.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. My grandmother has been here for the second time because it’s the only thing insurance would cover and I’m genuinely scared and upset that she has to stay here. It’s old, dusty, smelly, obsurdely loud, absolutely NO privacy, and just an all around mess. The nurses are mean to the residents, when I’m there all I hear is yelling and patients crying. My grandma is very important to me and it’s very upsetting that she needed her rest and it was absolutely impossible for that to happen. Absolutely no room or space for her and i will tell everyone not to bring their loved ones here. Disgusted

If I could rate Aurora a 0 I would. A family member was there for a week and in that time frame she got a bed sore and her condition worsened while she is typically a happy and healthy woman but ended here for rehab. The facility is old and beaten up, dust absolutely everywhere and the stench is horrid. Family was there every single day to check in on her as the nursing staff just left her in her room. The only activity she got was her PT and if family was able to take her for a walk. She was lying in a wet bed because it would take 20 minutes if not longer at times for staff to come in (when family wasnt there) to assist her to the bathroom. She didnt get all of her breathing treatments to help her get better and often times was waiting much to long before getting her treatments and medicine. I could go on but Ill stop here. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE, and if you love your family members, you would NEVER want them at Aurora.

While staying there staff helped get me rolling again with exercise & ect.

Worst place on the planet to place a loved one dirty scummy always short staffed Nurse Liz who is ADON very rude unprofessional toward staff she should never be allowed to practice nursing the way she treat staff STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
