I took my 2.5 yr old in for an eye exam and I was blown away by the staff and especially Dr. Banister! They took amazing care of my son and got a thorough eye exam accomplished by playing games and asking fun questions. Dr. Banister reviewed his findings with me and answered all of my questions. By the end my son was so comfortable he gave Dr. Banister a hug and now keeps asking to go back. I thoroughly recommend Derby eye care!

Excellent patient care! Dr. Banister is exceptional with adults as well as children. Prior to moving here my son had seen a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and I was a little bit hesitant to go with a non-pediatric doctor so my first visit here in town was to a large vision group in Wichita that has the only Pediatric Optometrist around. Our experience there was terrible! They treated children as though they were an inconvenience and the staff was just overall unpleasant. Im SO glad to have been recommended by my sister to see Dr. Banister even though he doesnt specialize in Pediatrics. Hes extremely knowledgeable, takes his time with each patient and I love how he connects with my boys at their visit and totally sets them at ease. I have now visited Dr. Banister for my own vision care as well and was just as impressed with his level of care for adult patients. If youre looking for a trustworthy, friendly Optometrist who goes above and beyond for his patients look no further :-)

My family has been going here for years and my dad all his life (50ish years). We have never had any issues. Sometimes the frames are a bit pricy but the two year replacement warranty helps offset that some. I highly recommend this business to anyone who needs to see an optometrist.
