This was my first visit to Peepers and I was very impressed. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different options that would fit with the type of work I do and for maximum comfort. The sales person that helped me pick out a set of glasses was very nice and took a lot of time letting me try on various peers as well as giving me good advice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went into Peepers for my first eye exam last September. It was one of the better exams Ive had! Sadly, its been all downhill from there. After I tested my trial pair of contacts, I have attempted to order a full supply SIX TIMES since December. My messages are never returned. I have spoken with their front of house staff many times. Each time they have told me, their contact specialist will get on it. They keep dropping the ball. I went in there on April 16th to discuss the order and also shop for glasses. I was met with MAJOR attitude by the women showing me glasses (Dani?), as if she didnt know about my appointment and was annoyed to provide me service. I then talked to Margarita, who said she would order my contacts on that day. She didnt. I called three weeks later to check on them and was told that Margarita was not longer with us and that our contact specialist will call you back. No call back. I called again on May 11. No call back. Ive never experienced such a lack of follow through from a front of office staff like the one at Peepers. Its as though they dont want my business!

My family has been happily served by Peepers staff for exams and eyewear/contacts for many years until now.In the span of ordering 3 new sets of glasses for myself, wife and daughter on one set came back correct the first time.My wife’s came back and supposedly the frames were the wrong size for her prescription. They didn’t say anything when she ordered them initially. Only when she went back to see what was wrong did they say anything. On top of that they made my wife feel as if it was her fault that the sizing was wrong.I ordered my frames and lenses about 5 wks ago and still have nothing. Two times the lenses have come back incorrect. I finally got fed up and am getting my lenses made elsewhere. The customer service I received from Jose was awesome but you could tell that even he was VERY frustrated. He was even let down by the billing department when I needed to cancel my insurance claim so that I could get the lenses made elsewhere. Had to call back a few times to get it taken care of.I was told that the regional manager would reach out to me. NothingI’ve called and left a message for the regional manager and still no response.Peepers, you are no longer the same company we had happily dealt with for so many years. You have lost our business due to all these issues. If we had the feeling that someone cared about our business then we’d stay. But it feels like nobody cares anymore.

Loved this place. The staff was so friendly and professional while maintaining all the COVID guidelines. I never once felt unsafe. The doctor (I believe I saw Eric Weissener) was very friendly and patient with me as I cracked a lot of jokes and wiggled away from the eye drops. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend coming to this office. I have had issues with getting my broken glasses replaced through my warranty since August. I have had to call every few weeks for updates and they rarely return calls. The frames are still not shipped to the office because of delays due to the pandemic. I understand that aspect is out of the office’s control. However, they are saying that they will not replace the lenses once the frames come in because the frames will arrive after the warranty date. Even though the the frames were ordered 3 months before the warranty end date. They say I can pick a new set of glasses, but for someone reason that new set cannot be made with the frames that are already ordered. That doesn’t make any sense. It’s semantics. I paid for my current broken frames because I liked them. Why do I have to order something different just because my warranty order took over 3 months? I understand they are not in control of when the frames are shipped, but that’s not my fault. A company should honor a warranty if it is initiated WELL before the end date.

I was patient at Peepers for since 2011. Regardless of moves, etc., I continued to be a loyal patient there for over a decade. This past Friday 3/12 I drove to my 9:30am appointment and hit traffic getting across town (a 30 minute drive for me). Arrived at 9:37am and called the number on the front door to be let in. I was told the doctor would not see me because they have a strict 5 minute grace period. After being patient there for 10 years, the fact that the doctor would not see me because I was 2 MINUTES outside of the grace period is absolutely unacceptable. Peepers clearly cares very little for their long-term patients. I am sorry I wasted so many years with this despicable office, and so many driving hours getting to appointments. Needless to say, I will NOT be a returning patient. I will patronize an establishment that actually cares about their clients and has even a shred of understanding or empathy.

Filling glasses here has been a nightmare. This location is untrustworthy and inefficient. New manager Marissa is unhelpful and has zero answers. Theyve lied to me 3 times now about my glasses being re made. Its been 3months since my eye exam. Original glasses they gave me didnt work at all. Been trying to get them fixed for a solid 2 months. Do not go here, they will steal your money and lie to you.

Peepers has very strict procedures in place due to pandemic which made me feel very comfortable such as calling once you arrive and the unlock door to allow entry. Ashley (tech) brought me back, asked me to wash hands, and did preliminary testing. Next with Dr. Bistodeau, provided full exam and answered all questions regarding lasik surgery. Sent referral for surgeon and sent exam results to my PCP. Check out was just as smooth. Again, unlocking to let me exit. Highly recommend establishment, staff, and Dr. Bistodeau.

I came into the office for my appointment and they told me I didnt have one despite many confirmations and having had the appointment for two weeks. I laughed it off assuming I had made a mistake and rescheduled an appointment for the next available appointment (3 weeks later). I arrived for this appointment and proceeded to have to wait for 20 mins. When I came in to check to make sure I hadnt been forgotten about I was told I would need to wait for ANOTHER TWO HOURS. When I finally got in to get my glasses prescription I asked for a pair of travel contacts after ordering a pair of glasses and many contacts they said they couldnt do that and I would have to wait for my order to come in which I had to pay an extra $20 for rush shipping in order to be able to see.

Very displeased how my referral has been treated.I am a long-time patient and had always had great things to say about Peepers Optical. However, I recommended that my boyfriend go there for his eye exam and to get his frames. His appt. was in early September 2020 and now we are in mid-October and still no glasses. He has made many calls and is always told they must call the lab to check on the status and they would call him back shortly. This call back seems to take days later, and hes told this and that but still no glasses. He must be the one to reach out to them as that havent taken the initiative to let him know the status of his order. This is NOT AT ALL COOL and due to this treatment of my referral I will stop going to Peepers Optical and never refer another soul. Not one person has seemed to even show him concern or apologize that his order has taken so long, nor offer a solution or some money back. This is terrible customer service as far as Im concerned, and I am extremely disappointed in this company!!

I went in for a routine exam this morning and was treated extremely kindly! Everyone went out of their way to assist my needs. The front desk staff was warm and cheerful regardless of the end of the year crunch. Dr. Bistodeau was kind, thorough, and informative in his exam. Not only that; they fixed my existing glasses with no questions asked without any pushy sales tactics to follow. I will be referring this office as well as scheduling my next years appointment with them! Thank you again.

This place is one not just to walk away from, but Run Away! Run far and run fast! First, they refuse to send my exam results to my Primary Dr despite multiple in-person requests. Second, they do not call when my glasses are in, they tell me they arrived just that day when I call. After not hearing back the next day I call back and am told they need to contact the lab - the lab? they are in your office according to your mgr! Then the person says she needs to talk to her mgr and hangs up. A previous reviewer was right, once Dr Rodgers, along with Alex and Alec left, this place is the absolute worse in the area.UPDATE 1220pm - I was just told I could pick up my glasses , call when in the parking lot and they will hand them to me. What?!? Apparently, Peepers now REFUSES to fit glasses costing almost $1000. Nice

Everyone here is always very kind! Ive come here twice now to get my contact lense prescription as well as purchasing lenses for the year. With covid I was a little worried about what their protocol was, but I had absolutely no reason to worry. They made sure there wasnt a lot of people at one time and cleaned after every person. I would make sure to call ahead to make an appointment though!

I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, they couldnt verify my insurance (even though I had no changes). Then I said I would pay out of pocket for the appointment. Then the gal proceeded to tell me that I missed my appointment! NOT MY ISSUE! The optometrist was very nice & understanding and squeeze me in.

Dont go here unless you have a lot of money just sitting around. The people are very nice of course, and you wont get bad service, but they know how to get extra funds out of you. When I went for my appointment, the doctor suggested a pair of contact lenses that were different than the ones I normally wear. Then she said that I would have to come back in for a lens fitting. I immediately I knew this was their way to get more money since insurance usually only pays for the first exam. I told her I was fine with the brand Ive been using for the past 8 years and that I wouldnt need a lens fitting. She insisted that I would need a fitting either way. Then she proceeded to dilate my eyes and send me on my way. I was disoriented when I got to the counter and they told me that I owed $70! I asked for an itemized receipt (which I couldnt read until my eyes returned to normal) and in addition to my copay they charged me in advance for my lens fitting. Of course when I went in for the lens fitting, it was nothing more than the doctor asking how they felt, taking a quick look, and saying, Well that was easy! The lenses are also a lot more expensive here and again they charge you in advance before you even receive your lenses. I feel tricked.

I have been seeing Dr. McCleery for over 20 years. I drive close to 30 miles just to have him do my eye exams. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about your vision. He is also fun to talk to and just a bit sarcastic. 😁. The rest of his staff is terrific as well. Very friendly.

The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. If you have questions she is there to answer if you dont have any questions she works through the eye exam in a timely manner. (sorry I dont remember her name) Anna helped me out front and did a fantastic job finding me a pair of sunglasses and day glasses that fit in my budget. Wonderful experience!

I have been a customer here for several years, but I’m choosing to go elsewhere now. In the last year, the ownership of this business changed hands, and since then, the customer service has completely dive-bombed.A few examples: I called with an eye infection, needing to be seen by one of the doctors and was told nobody could see me for at least a week. Eventually, after begging the manager to squeeze me in, I got seen sooner than a week, but this is not how an established patient with an urgent medical issue needing to be seen ought to be treated. They should keep some availability for walk-ins or urgent eye issues.The staff here rarely call when an order arrives. If you are a customer here, it’s up to you to call and check on it.Once I called to inquire about an order of contact lenses that had been placed about ten days prior. I got put on hold for 20 minutes, only to be told they hadn’t arrived. The manager said the contacts would arrive the following Monday. (At this point, I requested she send me a copy of my prescription. She promised to email it but never did). Monday came and went, and I hadn’t heard anything about my order, so I called on Tuesday morning. I was told twice the contacts hadn’t arrived yet; but then miraculously, on the third try, someone finally found my contacts.This place seems extraordinarily disorganized, the doctors are always overbooked with little to no availability for walk-in appointments when unexpected medical issues arise, and the staff are friendly but poorly trained and inattentive to customer needs. And given the many other poor reviews of Peepers written here in the months since the ownership changes, I can’t believe the management hasn’t been replaced. AVOID this place, or prepare to be consistently frustrated.[UPDATE 1/7/20] Google doesn’t allow reviewers to enter a reply to an owner’s response, so I wanted to provide a reply by editing one into my original review. Thanks for the response to my concerns. I already spoke with Carmen about these issues when they initially arose. She did not offer adequate solutions to the problems I experienced. When I asked why the doctors are always overbooked and have no availability to see an existing patient within a reasonable timeframe for an urgent medical issue, she said something along the lines of, “that’s just how we do things here.” She offered to email me my prescription, but ultimately never did. (I did end up obtaining a printed copy of it by going to the store and requesting one). Thank you for offering to speak some more about the issues I’ve had, but prior experience with the management has taught me that it is unlikely to be productive. Best of luck to you all.

I have been coming to Peepers for years! The staff is great! I love it that they know my name! So when it was time for my girls to have their eyes checked it never occurred to me to take them anywhere else. I love the service I get, but it was interesting to see how they were able to offer the same service to my teenage girls all the while making it as relaxing and not scary as possible. My kids do not like going to the doctor, but they dont mind coming to Peepers. I would never go anywhere else!

I highly recommend Peepers Optical. My eye exam was excellent and very thorough (I know-Ive been wearing glasses since 2nd grade). I have recently decided to try contacts again and their exam, the fitting and the whole process has been fantastic. They make sure you know what you are doing before you leave, and have a very good follow-up process. I cant say enough about how impressed I am with not just their services but everyone there is so nice. Its a joy to go back in for my check-ups.

In the past I had a great experience at this place; however, recently I scheduled an eye exam, I showed up and they said that I wasnt in the system. They explained they have been having issues with the scheduling system. All I needed was a contacts fitting. I showed up with my prescription and eye exam from another ophthalmologist. They still wouldnt squeeze me in.I dont usually write bad reviews; however, I felt like I was not accommodated, even when they knew they have been having scheduling issues. I will take my business elsewhere.

Very impressed with this place. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly, the decor was attractive, and I felt I had a thorough eye exam and contact lens fitting. I also appreciated that they give you the choice between having your eyes dilated (free), or paying for the test that doesnt require that hassle- My last eye place didnt give me the option. I did not shop for glasses at this appointment, but I was given a pair of contact lenses to try out- There was no pressure to call back soon, or even to buy from them if I could find them cheaper elsewhere. Just a pleasant experience all around.

My wife and I went to Peepers Optical based on online reviews and also based recommendation from friends for our new prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. We were treated very courteously and professionally. The optician Alex was very knowledgeable and thorough. Peepers is the absolute best. From their selection of frames, to their doc, opticians, and office staff, everything and everyone is amazing.My first experience with them wasnt as a patient. They just happened to have a pair of frames I really liked, and filled my (then) current eye docs prescription. When I got the glasses, my vision was horrible. One eye was okay, but the other was blurry, which gave me a weird vertigo sense when I tried to read. After verifying the lenses were made correctly and were the accurate prescription my doctors office has sent over, Jacob (the best optician ever, seriously) got me an appointment with their doctor to check the prescription (which ended up being way off) and worked with the lab to get the lenses replaced with the new prescription... All to fix a problem my previous doctor not affiliated with them at all had caused.Of course, after that I immediately switched to Peepers for all my eye doctor needs and have not been disappointed. If you are looking for an eye doctor, check these guys out!

I was able to make a same day appointment which worked great with my busy schedule. The doctor and staff were professional and courteous and really paid attention to my specific needs along with the provisions of my insurance plan. The doctor came up with a plan that allows me to forego reading glasses for now (while still being able to see!) and I am beyond thrilled with every aspect of service I received. I went in and spent almost an hour looking at a pair of glasses. I found a pair of glasses that I really liked. I do have full coverage insurance, the glasses I chose would have cost over $600 otherwise. I was getting ready to order them and the man told me that I had to pay for them now. I have always paid for my glasses at pickup. I wanted to get them ordered now because I have been with out a pair for a long time hoping to pickup when I get paid next.. He was not interested in the sale at all and his customer service sucked. He did nothing to help me. I just cant believe that someone with full coverage insurance has to pay for a pair of glasses to be ordered. To me that is saying that you dont trustth e customer. His words were these are custom and if you dont pick up then its our loss. Why would I order a pair that I really need to leave them behind. Bad customer service! I wont be going back to get any ever!

I have been going to Peepers for well over 10 years. Unfortunately as the original owner has taken on less patients, the service has gone downhill significantly.Case in point, I made an appointment online a few weeks ago and went in today only to find out they did not accept my online appointment. I received the cancellation for the online appointment AFTER I went into their office and tried attend my appointment. Given the fact I took the day off of work to make this appointment was extremely frustrating and disappointing.When I called to discuss, all was told is I should have called to confirm my appointment otherwise it was not a real appointment. Not sure the purpose of having an online booking if you have to call to confirm it anyway?I can only hope they address the service issues as the doctors and selection of eyewear is really good.

This was the first eye doctor I have gone to since being in Denver, and I will not be returning. Let me say, the experience with the actual doctor was amazing. There are no issues there. The bad experience came with the glasses buying experience. I had my appointment and then went to pick out the frames. I found a pair. The brand was Masunaga. Cute frames. Super expensive. But I went with them anyway. I was told they’d be done in 7-10 business days. Come to find out the glasses I bought are hand made in Japan and actually was told it could take weeks to months depending on the frame and customs. Ok, so Carmen, I’m assuming a manager got involved. Told me that my frames were hung up in customs, but they could overnight the frames I tried on to the lab in Illinois (I believe that was the state) so my lenses could get made, but it could be another week. I’m beyond frustrated at this point. So, I finally get the glasses and within 4 days of wearing them, a screw come out and I almost lose the lens, mind you the sticker price for the frames alone was $505! Good stuff. So I decide I don’t like them. I go back and pick out another pair, about $200 CHEAPER. I pick those up today and when I ask about the refund for the difference in price, the guy helping me (who was amazing and understanding) brings Carmen over to me. Carmen is NOT understanding and lays a printed policy in front of me. Proceeds to tell me she’s “gone above and beyond” (No! You’ve done your job- is what I told her). This comment made me livid! You are in a customer service AND small business industry. I felt degraded and not like I was being treated appropriately, and she definitely did not understand my frustrations. ALSO she said “You’ve been a patient for awhile and this has been our policy since 2017”. So, before making your customers feel unwanted or cared about you should know I’ve only been a patient for about a month!!!! And that the policy that refunds are not given should be provided when the glasses are purchased. A TERRIBLE buying experience with this company and I will not be returning.

Peepers offers a wide selection of frames ranging in price. I worked with optician Micah Wylie and he listened to my likes and dislikes regarding frames. Micah took the time to walk me through the business entire selection of frames. I was able to find frames that I am very happy with (and Im picky!). Additionally I received a nice discount for purchasing a prescription pair of sunglasses the same day! I recommend Peepers Optical on Leetsdale and Micah if youre in need of eyewear.

Regarding my appointment a few months ago:Disorganized front desk. I rarely order contacts from a doctors office, but Peepers offered a nice deal. So I took it. Regretful decision. Long story long. I received an incorrect quote 3 times, with a difference of $400. First, I was charged the original quote. Then they called me back and apologized that they misquoted me and there was a difference of $400 that I still owed. So they charged me again. I thought thats not right. I went up to the office, got it figured out and refunded that crazy extra amount. They called me again a couple of days later and whoops! I actually do owe that $400. I went up to the office again and they tried to explain their calculations. I was so livid. I left and called my insurance. Thankfully, my VSP rep helped me decipher what they were taking about. She called the office and actually was the moderator. I finally was charged about $100, after I requested a full refund.Ive never had an issue like this with an office and Ive been wearing contacts for almost 30 years. Oh, and the icing on the cake: they left a message saying my contacts were in about a week later and I went to the office. No contacts. I even played the message for them. They had no clue who called and why. ARGHHH!!! Finally received my contacts after a month of this doodoo. Never again!! I felt like I was on a prank show!Oh yeah! Online appointments dont work. I had to reschedule with them in person when I came in for my 1st nonexistent appointment. Lol.

I actually Love Dr. Trisha Rogers and Dr. McCleery, theyre the best!! I will continue my annual visits there. Unfortunately, I had a problem with feeling my lens prescription. Im not going into detail but I didnt appreciate the service or condescending treatment received when ordering lenses. Ive been purchasing lenses for over 35 years. Ive worn all types. If you need to tell me Im getting Lamborghini service, its not. Also dont say your going to do something and dont follow up. Otherwise, Ive found no better doctors than at Peepers

Long time customer wont be returning. For those that dont know, this used to be a family owned/run business. The owners recently sold to a corporate group and the entire staff has turned over and is new. Even though I knew this, I decided to order my new glasses from Peepers anyway. When I went in to pick up the glasses, I asked the optician to straighten the temples (arms) of my glasses. She proceeded to forcefully manipulate the hinges of the frames. When I stopped her and clarified what I wanted, she started manually making the adjustments without putting the temples in the hot sand that makes them malleable. (Ive been told many, many times to never attempt self modifications because its possible to do irreparable damage to the temples.) Ill not be going back to an optical shop where the employees dont know what temples are or how to properly manipulate them.

She was very nice, so I think things will be ok! 3 Stars for now until my appointment.With the right to change my review based upon a (potential) future appointment, I am sorry to have to write this but dont want anyone else to be in my situation and have to go through what I did this afternoon. I had not seen an eye doctor in years and was excited for my appointment today. I had called in a couple weeks back to book it and and they didnt tell me anything special about what Id need to be prepared for with this appointment. When I came in today (early to fill out paperwork), they informed me that I would be doing the dilation or a special screening that was $32 extra dollars. If I had known this, I would have asked to book my appointment later in the day so that I would be fine to work the rest of my work day with no discomfort (as the receptionist said the dilation would be uncomfortable and would make my vision blurry) and not have to pay an additional $32 of which I was not previously informed. I then asked if I could do the dilation part on a later date and do the appointment as scheduled and to that I was told that would also be a thirty something dollar fee. Then I asked to reschedule the whole appointment as I was not informed of any of this and she said normally they require 24 hours notice or its a $50 fee... I explained to her that I wouldnt have had to make any of these changes if I had been informed of the situation in advance and she said that it was routine at an eye appointment to expect this. As I havent been to an eye doctor recently, I had no idea. She told me if I wanted to reschedule, it would be a while until they could get me in, but it actually only ended up being a couple weeks, which in my case is fine as it is not an emergency appointment. Again, I just wouldnt want anyone else to have to go through this too as I honestly didnt know. It may or not be something obvious to others... As I was rescheduling my appointment, the gal was obviously annoyed and answered a call while I was rescheduling and then just walked away without saying anything to me, even after I tried to ask if she needed anything further from me for the newly made appointment, which I wasnt even sure had been completely made at that point since she just walked off. Luckily, there was another gal at the desk next to her who was much nicer when I went to her to explain the situation and ask if anything further was needed for my next appointment. If it werent for her, I probably would have left in tears. I understand a fee would be involved for canceling an appointment within 24 hours as this is a business and it is unfair for them to lose out on a spot for a patient to come in, but I also believe I was treated unfairly by not being told about the dilation or the optomap retinal imaging (the test requiring the additional fee) in advance so my choices were not either pay the additional fee or lose out on the eye car services ensuring proper eye care, or worse, miss the rest of a work day, unplanned, to accommodate a test I didnt know about. Now, if I decide to come back, Im embarrassed about the whole situation and uncomfortable about what other hidden fees or requirements may come up to which I may not be informed. My next appointment has been booked for a time to accommodate the dilation, but at this point, Im still trying to decide if I feel that this circumstance was fair or not and whether Id like to being doing business here. It otherwise seemed fine and other reviews have been good, so Id hope for better service in the future if I decide to keep my appointment. I just wanted to let others know in case this was something they were not told and for which they would otherwise have not planned.

This place is wonderful! From the moment I called and made an appointment to the completion of my purchase, everyone was so caring and helpful. The receptionist was so sweet and efficient, and Trisha Rogers provided me with fantastic service during my appointment, as did the tech who assisted her. The gal who helped me pick out my frames was patient and very helpful as I was alone and didnt have a friend or family member to give me opinions, and I was very satisfied with the frames we picked out. Thanks to my VSP coverage, I was able to order great frames with special coating and lenses, but this place might be a little pricey for folks who dont have vision coverage. Im also a little disappointed that my glasses are going to take two weeks to arrive, but I think theyll be worth the wait. Overall I was very happy with my experience at Peepers, and Id recommend them to anyone who wants a good experience in a comfortable place with friendly staff!

I went to Peepers for my yearly eye exam. When it came time to pay, they told me my insurance wasnt covering the full amount. I told them to check again because I have never had to before. They once again told me I was wrong. I checked back with my other family members in the plan and they agreed with me. I shouldnt have been charged. When I called Peepers back, they once again told me that I was wrong. So I called my insurance. Lo and behold, I was actually right and Peepers was charging me a lot of money unnecessarily. It took the insurance people a while to talk to the people in the office to get it straightened up. If I hadnt forced their hand with the insurance, they wouldnt be refunding me the money they basically took from me. And while I really liked Dr. Rogers, others in the office were rude and unhelpful. So after this, Ill be going somewhere else.

I went to see Dr. Raymond McCleery at Peepers for years. His eye exams were always extremely thorough and precise.When I got vision insurance, I mistakenly thought that Dr. McCleery did not take that insurance and started visiting another optometrist for several years. Those eye exams were nowhere near as thorough as Dr. McCleerys. Oh those wasted years.After learning that Dr. McCleery did, in fact, accept my insurance, I went to see him for my annual exam two days ago. I am so glad I did.He took a lot of time conducting my exam, to be as precise as possible about the prescription correction I needed. His office also provides the Optos exam which is a diagnostic tool for Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration. (Since my Mother developed both of these conditions, having this test so that Dr. McCleery can observe what is going on in my eyes is really important to me.)Since I needed a new pair of glasses with progressive lenses, I met with one of the Peepers staff who was very helpful selecting new frames. ( I dont remember her name now though). She even switched out the nose pieces on the frames I wanted so that they were more comfortable. I am really looking forward to getting my new glasses.Obviously, I would highly recommend Dr. McCleery and Peepers.

My mother and I have been patients of Dr. McCleery for over 20 years now. The care and treatment are unmatched by anyone, and I owe my vision to him. He is outstanding in his field, and his experience and expertise are invaluable when it comes to diagnosing and treating different vision problems. The office is always clean and comfortable, and the staff are always beyond pleasant. Instruments and practices are up to date and cutting edge. I have been going to Peepers for around 10 years. Dr. McCleerys comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of vision health is impressive. He takes all the time necessary for a thorough eye exam (a rarity for medical professionals these days) during which he patiently answers any questions that I might have. Moreover, his bedside manner is both educational (and entertaining). Unlike another reviewer, I have never felt the least bit of pressure to spend any more than I need to. In fact, I find the charge for exams to be very reasonable and Dr. McCleery and his staff have always been generous with contact lens samples when I am trying to find that perfect fit. The staff at Peepers is friendly and helpful. In short, I LOVE Peepers.

Very disappointed!!! No stars!!!Had an exam and 3 pair of glasses made last January. Not happy with the glasses and they were remade. Still not great but after many visits I gave up and decided to live with them.Went to my previous dr to find that the prisms I need were never prescribed or added to my glasses. This after a lengthy discussion w/the dr that my prescription called for 2 and he thought I should have 8, but, that was too many to jump to and he was going to prescribe 4. Additionally, 1 frame I bought were seriously warped. A manufactures defect that has been problematic. Even after coming in 2 times this summer and fall for adjustments that never stuck no one said a thing and just let me suffer with Ill fitting glasses.A shame for sure! Ill never be back and will tell my friends the same. A complete waste of nearly $2,000. Get it together!!!
