Had a lovely experience with Optique downtown. It was easy to book an appointment. When I arrived for my exam, they were ready for me (no waiting, which is always appreciated). Every person I interacted with was super thoughtful, kind and considerate. Ended up purchasing a couple glasses and will most certainly be back.

Recently moved to Denver and was in search of a new optometrist as a lifelong glasses wearer. I visited for the first time today and was so impressed with their space, the staff and the wide variety of frames. It was a seamless experience throughout my hour spent at their location with an eye exam and selection of new frames. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and had such great energy. They even gift you a succulent before you walk out of the door! Overall I am very impressed and will be coming back for my next pair of lenses when the time is right.

The service is amazing here, from the greeting when I first walked through the door, to Heather who assisted me and made this as easy as possible. I was a bit nervous walking in, I have never worn glasses, really had no idea what I was looking for and what would work for my face. Heather picked out many pairs she though would work for me, and helped pick a pair I loved! It was literally such a fun easy process! I can not recommend Optique enough!

I would allow this optometrist to do terrible things to me but, she doesn’t! From beginning to end the process is efficiently executed. If you value customer service and your time, come here!

I live out of town and was staying at a hotel close to Optique. I broke my glasses and walked in just as they opened on a Saturday. They understood my situation, gave me a full eye exam and had me set up with a brand new set of glasses within a matter of 2 hours. They were super friendly and very professional!

Such a great experience going to Optique of Denver - especially being an out of pocket payer. Went for an annual check-up, and the entire staff is so incredibly kind and helpful and fun to talk to. Dr. Kasper takes her time to explain every question you have, and they even adjusted my sunglasses that I ordered somewhere else for free because they were too big. Great place!

Great Exams, Surgery, Glasses and Lenses! Optique offers very thorough services for all your vision needs. They completed my exams and surgery and maintain all my information on file. I have bought lenses and a number of quality brand frames to wear at different times. The frames are very high quality and you pay for that, but will not be disappointed.

Awesome experience. They have very high tech an up-to-date technology that makes getting your check up super easy. They also have an amazing staff that helps you pick out the right glasses for your style. Definitely worth the drive downtown even if you don’t live downtown.

I had the best experience here today for my first eye exam for prescription glasses in years. The building is clean and super chic. All of the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! Kim gave my initial eye exam and was super nice & Dr. Schaefer assessed my needs for prescription glasses. Dr.Schaefer was so informative and thorough I hope to see her again in the future! Fabian was AMAZING and literally the highlight of my day. He picked out the best frames for me after looking at my little face and I loved every pair. He also took the time to figure out what I owed based on my coverage and I really appreciated that. He’s such a fun positive energy and that is the kind of thing that keeps you coming back to a business over and over. I love all the unique frames and wonderful people here. I recently moved to Denver, so had to find a new eye doctor, and am so pleased I went to Optique of Denver! I went to the Broadway location. I made the appointment online, got text confirmation, no hassle at all. The facility is chic and pretty new I believe, it’s clean and bright and just beautiful. The testing equipment is new to me, so I assume is pretty state of the art. The staff was great too! They gave me tips of places and things to check out around the area since I’m new here and Marshall gave me THE BEST frame consultation I have ever had. Exceeded any and every expectation. He was stellar! I adore my new frames. They even gifted me with an adorable succulent from their window on my way out. Such a delightful experience!

Warning: if you become a customer here, there is no going back to your old store. You’ll never be satisfied anywhere else. I’ve been a customer at Optique for years and I can’t imagine going to another dimly lot, poorly staffed, glasses factory again.The team here offers a no-frills, trustworthy optical exam that gives you eagle-eye clarity and then escorts you to the opticians who love the challenge of getting you in the perfect pair with the care and personalized attention you’d expect from a wedding dress boutique.And why not?! You wear your glasses every single day. They are a part of your identity and can say so much about you. The glasses aren’t cheap, but if you’re willing to invest, then go to Optique where they don’t mess around.

I’ve been going to Optique since 2017 and have yet to have a bad experience. Both Doctors are very helpful and thorough during the appointments. Everyone else upfront is very friendly and took the time to help me who is admittedly picky about my frames. Highly suggest Optique!

Dr. Kasper is awesome. Im the kind of person who has lots of questions at the doctors office and she is very willing to answer them all and explain exactly what the tests are for and what she is seeing in my eyes. I feel like I learn something new after every appointment. She also is very personable and genuinely cares about you as a person. The staff has been nothing but helpful and nice every time I visit. They even throw a joke or two in to make the experience that much better. The selection of glasses is great and they have unique frames to choose from. They take as much time as you need to find the perfect frames for your face and never rush you or hard sell you. I ordered glasses on a Tuesday and they were ready for pick up on two days later on Thursday! Talk about fast, great service.

This is the best place Ive been for my vision, ever. All of the staff here are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Kasper is amazing. She is kind and thorough, taking the time explain the results of all the tests, showing pictures and explaining what they are looking for in my eyes, and providing education about keeping my eyes healthy. She is also the first doctor who actually moved my prescription down instead of increasing it, and its been great! After a year, my prescription has stayed consistent and Ive had no issues with my vision. I would highly recommend Optique and Dr. Kasper to anyone in need!

Love this place! I have purchased two pairs of glasses from here, and just did an eye appointment last week. I enjoyed everyone I came in contact with, and trusted their opinions about what looks good on my face shape. They have something for everyone, and their frames are very stylish.

Despite just coming in for a fitting, the team was super courteous and did a great job making me feel comfortable with their covid protocols.

Really terrific service both from the doctor and the staff helping me choose eyewear. The attention to detail and incredible feedback will keep me coming back. I felt that the doctor really listened to me and worked on a plan for my future. The staff member who helped me choose frames was so kind and patient and made some really great picks for my skin tone and style! I even got a little plant on my way out.

I feel very comfortable going there because the staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. They made sure to explain everything for me and answer my questions. There was one time when they were fully booked and I had an emergency and they managed to fit me in to see what’s going on. Very thankful to find a great place with great people that genuinely care.

Extremely unprofessional appointment/front desk staff. I originally booked online, then a guy called the following day to reschedule. We both looked at our calendars and found a new time. I never received any confirmation via email/text of the appointment. When I arrived, the staff realized I’d been incorrectly scheduled for the following week at the same time. Instead of apologizing and offering another solution, I was told that “it’s not their fault I came in on the wrong day.” When I expressed my shock that I was being blamed for their mistake, they said, “We can pull up the conversation and see who was right.” I let them know this wasn’t ok to treat me like this, and they’re about to lose a customer.” The guy shrugged like he didn’t care and in a sarcastic tone said “Have a nice day!” as I walked out. Don’t waste your money here... there are other small businesses that deserve your support!

Dr. Persson is the nicest doctor I’ve ever been to in ANY specialty! He’s funny, relatable, down-to-earth and answers all my questions like “What color is the inside of my eye?” My boyfriend initially recommended me here and I’m so glad he did! My boyfriend and I walked in with his prescription in hand, and were immediately greeted by Ben. He instantly started recommending frames and pulling them down for my boyfriend to try. Above and beyond service from the entire team at Optique, easily the best eyewear store I have ever been to. We purchased some new frames and lenses as well as got new lenses for an old pair of sunglasses. Ben took extra special care to adjust my boyfriends sunglasses perfectly for him, something that hasn’t been done in years. They really wanted him to feel good in his new lenses, as well as have his old ones looking brand new. They even gave us a small succulent plant as a gift. Fantastic, five stars all around for service, decor, and selection of frames.

All too often we jump at the chance of giving a place a bad review. I am just as guilty as the next. Today was much different as I had a wonderful experience at the Optique of Denver. I had a pair of broken sunglasses that were very expensive and needed the lenses changed. I had the replacement lenses mailed to me and was surprised to find out that I had to go somewhere else to have them installed. I work a couple blocks away from the Optique of Denver so I gave them a call. They said they would be happy to install the lenses for me and to just bring them in at any time. I walked through the front doors 10 minutes later and handed over the glasses and replacement lenses. They told me upfront that occasionally, heating up the frames can ruin them so they would not be liable if that happened. I decided to take the chance and 10 minutes later the nice gentleman that fixed my glasses handed them over to me. He had also taken the time to tighten everything up and replaced one of the nose pads as well. Lastly, I asked how much I owed them and they told me it was free of charge. I was amazed! Everyone I came into contact with at this establishment was kind and courteous and masters of customer service. Everything about my experience today was awesome and I owe it to them. Nice people but they dont/wont go out of their way to help. One of the reason why I chose to go with them was, they were in my network according to my plan info. I paid over $500 for service assuming that was just my portion after applying my vision insurance. They NEVER told me they never applied my insurance. I only found out a year later after going to a different eye doctor and my co pay was only $10 and my insurance covered the exam plus my eye contacts. While making my new eye appointment with the new doctor, the front desk was able to confirm right away if i was in network. That was a nice gesture by the front desk to let me know immediately. I wish Optique of Denver did that I could had saved some $$.When I purchased eyeglasses, i saw double vision and had headaches. The tech said the focus point wasnt accurate and tried fixing it. It was ok but it wasnt good enough that I can drive in it if needed. I had to adj my glasses crookedly often to see normally. And thought this was normal since I didnt wear glasses often. And something to get used to.I just got my new glasses from my current provider, and I can see and drive with my glasses!!

Just brought in a pair of older glasses that were broken. They didn’t carry the brand but said they would try to fix them with parts from when they did carry the brand. 10 minutes later, all fixed like new! Oh, and btw no charge!! Really?? Awesome! I I’ve half time in NY, this is definitely NOT NY!!

From out of town. Having an issue with my glasses, saw this place while walking by. They were closed. They saw me outside and opened up the shop, fixed my frames and would not accept my money. Great service! Friendly folk!

Ive been going here for years and cannot praise Dr Schaeffer and her staff enough for their professional and compassionate care. She has taken all my eye issues very seriously, from a mild eye strain to a very persistent eye twitch. Most of the front staff have been there for years which speaks volumes about both the work environment and the consistency in service that youll receive.

Do not go to this place! While the eye exam is fine, they force you to purchase glasses at their place which is very, very expensive. They dont tell you this up front which is even worse. I asked for a copy of my prescription since I was moving away and wasnt going to fill it until I moved. It took multiple calls to get anyone to send it to me. Now I tried to fill it with a company online and I need a measurement of distance between pupils. When I called Optique of Denver to get that, as its not on the prescription, they said they dont give that out unless you come back in and pay $25 - which is obviously not a choice when you move away! They said they will do it for free if you come purchase glasses from them. Im not sure this is even legal so I will be looking into it. I dont know why you think in todays world you can get away with holding back truth and essentially just stealing the clients money. Horrible, horrible place!!

Optique of Denver are Awesome, as a long time glasses wearing girl ive had absolutely zero problems with their staff or people. I cannot say enough about the incredible people at this store. More importantly, I need to have prism cut per my prescription, and anyone whom needs this knows, that if it just isnt cut correctly, its vary tiresome to the eye. while i had to wait, expected, it took three times to cut the lens correctly, not their fault, but they never charged me, and once we got the prism right, wow, wonderful to see the world in clarity. Lastly, as part of the LGBT community of Denver, these people treated me, as all should, but i felt completely at home and welcome in their store but also by there staff. If your looking for new glasses and great people to work with i would seriously consider looking into this shop, not disappointed yet with their marvelous shop.

This place is worthless. I called to see if I could get an appointment. I have lived in Denver for many years but I have moved away. I am living in a different state now. I understand if I can’t get in, however the girl working at 6pm on 12/4 had a horrible attitude. She laughed and said well there is nothing I can do when I tried to get in. The fact someone is calling for an emergency situation, and the lack of sympathy or any people skills what so ever is appalling she was rude and flat out nasty.

Great place, great service, awesome selection of glasses. Been going here for a few years now and they are the best! No reason to go anywhere else. You will get what you pay for at the chain glasses stores, they might be a little bit more, but the service in bar none.

Im new to the states and have to get new lenses. Optique is super convenient located at downtown Denver. Dr. Schaefer was my eye examiner and was very professional. Their shop is nice with great eye exam equipment in house. I did not have to purchase frames but the staffs still explained all the different types of lenses to me patiently and how my VSF insurance can applied to my purchase. Simply awesome!

The staff was generally helpful, but the wait here is generally a bit longer than other optometrists I have visited. The main reason for my lower rating is that I visited Dr. Schaefer regarding an eye issue I’ve been having. After I called a couple of times to follow up on the treatment plan we had discussed during my appointment, I was dismissed. We had discussed trying to treat the issue with medication, and I was told the prescription would not be obtained (no reason given as to why) and to just keep doing what I was already doing with no follow-up needed. Needless to say, I’m still dealing with the issue months later. It’s really disappointing to pay money to familiarize a specialist with whatever issue you’re having only to be abruptly dropped as a patient over the phone without any warning or reason after you’ve already discussed next steps. Wouldn’t recommend this office because they don’t appear able to deal with eye issues. I’ll keep my optometry service with someone who can handle both.

STAY AWAY. These people only care about money, not their patients. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment (new patient, didn’t know my way around the city very well), and this business 1. Didn’t even call to see if I was still coming (every other time I have ran late to an appointment, a receptionist has called me to make sure I was on my way), 2. Instead, took someone else over my scheduled time, but had no room to fit me in. If my appointment time was taken by someone else, it would make sense I would be in their time slot. Unless they took a walk in over a scheduled client And 3. These jerks didn’t even have the common courtesy to call and tell me that since I was late, they took someone else in and I’d have to reschedule. I’m not sure what type of business model these folks are following, but it seems to be one where they care more about the contents of your pocketbook than the health of your eyes. I have never been treated so poorly by any type of medical office. I will NEVER return, and will let everyone I know to stay away and pick somewhere less pretentious.

I love going here for my eye exams. Dr. Schaefer is one of the nicest docs Ive ever worked with, helpful, takes the time to explain things. Impressed by the latest eye-exam tech in this shop too. I was upfront and shared Im getting a prescription for Warby Parker glasses, absolutely no pressure to buy frames there. Couldnt recommend more.

I have been going to Optique of Denver since 2013, initially because of proximity to my home, but Dr. Schaeffer and staff are truly exceptional. When I had issues with my contacts they contacted the Rep and got me a new yearly set at no cost to myself. I had PRK a year ago and the follow up care I received was again exceptional as I struggled a little bit with the procedure. Great selection of frames and sunglasses, and the staff is always happy to help.

They take Aetna vision and their service is excellent. I buy my frames online and theyre great at fitting them even though they didnt sell them.
