Had a rough morning and ripped my contacts in Colorado and Im a truck driver from California 🤦🏿 but FRONT RANGE FAMILY EYE CARE came to my rescue and was able to get me a pair so I can continue drive everyone on the inside was great nice and courteous I suggest everyone go here THANKS AGAIN GUYS .... oh yeah and they supplied me with solution for my contacts and new case Im grateful for you guys and I appreciate it

Today was the second time Ive been into this office. Dr. Tran was amazing with my care today! He did everything he could to help me find relief for the issue I am having. I am very thankful I went in today. Thank you!

There’s not a lot of great quality services in GVR, but I’m happy that at least there’s a good optometrist here. Never had a bad experience. Appointments are quick, and eye issues are explained thoroughly. It’s hard to do much during COVID, but they were really helpful anyway while I was picking out glasses a couple months ago. I’m grateful there’s a reliable and professional place around here for eye care.

I’m so glad I found a quality eye doctor so close to my home! This is the best eye care I have received in the state of Colorado. The entire staff provides excellent customer service, and my visit was quick and efficient with virtually no wait time. My doctor was personable and she explained the whole process to me which I’ve never experienced by other optometrists. She even made suggestions about eye care for my young daughter. I especially appreciated that my eyes didn’t need to be dilated and they had a great selection of eye glasses to choose from. The staff was very informative about my choices without being pushy about the selections. I’m looking forward to receiving my new glasses soon!

Due to weather I was stuck in Denver for an extra week! They were so helpful in getting me contacts since I didn’t have any. Great staff and very helpful! Thank you !!

3 weeks ago I went in for an update on my prescription for contact lenses which prompted an eye exam. Was told that I needed to have my eye lens paralyzed (never heard that before) to get a proper prescription due to my astigmatism; I just trusted the doctors opinion so we set a date for the appointment.The doctor then proceeded to briefly explain how my provider: VSP has weird insurance policies with contacts and proceeded to charge me the full exam price $182 to save on the lenses. It seemed odd as I never payed for an exam and or lenses before with VSP, but once again I trusted the doctor.Fast forward a week and I have to cancel the appointment due to work. I also didnt want the paralyzing effects from the procedure to interfere with work, so I called and kindly asked for just my prescription and contacts to be ordered. They said they would ask the doctor, and would call back. Never recieved an email or call.So my appointment day arrives, and I show up. The doctor says they cant give me a proper prescription because I am refusing the lens paralyzing procedure.I call up Look Optical, they set an appointment THE NEXT DAY, get my exam and I recieve my lenses in another day or so. My VSP insurance covered the EXAM AND LENSES for a $30 co-pay. Never am I getting duped like that again. I wanted to try you out since you are closer to me and seem a little more upscale. Your staff are kind but pushy and I honestly feel cheated out of my very hard earned money. Never again.EDIT: You do have me in your system. If need be I will call you as you requested.

So I am deeply disappointed all four of my kids have been coming here for years & today will be the last time I take them!!! To start off the staff is rude!! Then I take my daughter in to get some new frames and a check up. Only to have the doctor make me and my daughter feel completely uncomfortable with questions. Then the rest of the time the doctor proceeded to shrug her shoulders at me & talk to my daughter instead of me about what her findings were confusing her & making her feel very uncomfortable. Me as her mother just felt very sad. As soon as we left my daughter looked at me and said “mom what she did was not right” 😢 as a mom that hurt me. She asked to never go back & that’s that we will never go back!!!

The doctors are competent and the people are very helpful and friendly. No one is pressures you to buy anything to boost sales. Prices are reasonable. They are also very accommodating.

Worst experience I ever had. One the doctor was not helping at all and there are not nice at all. After finishing with her I didn’t get anything from her. I just waist my time and my money for nothing. Very bad experience I will not refer anyone I now to that place. I’m very disappointed

I had an a great visit. The staff greeted me with professionalism and got me checked in right away. The lady that did the tests for me was really nice and really walked me through all of the steps. When I met with the doctor he explained everything on the tests and always asked if everything made sense and if I was understanding everything. He gave me options and asked what my opinion was to get the best care my eyes needed. He showed me a neat trick to put on the contacts. The lady that was helping me choose glasses was very nice as well. She would like at different color/sizing options even when it was about to close.

My experience was mixed... The doctor (Cole Wilson) was fantastic. The staff was ok. The environment is a big improvement over my prior experience at Walmart. The prices are steep! The exam was quick and painless (no dilation needed). They have all the latest tech and it shows. I think I paid $168 without contact fitting. Thats about double my last exam, but worth it in my opinion considering the ease and how much I liked the doctor. I picked out a couple frames and asked for prices... If you decide to do this, make sure youre sitting down first. A pair of progressives in the cheaper of the two frames I liked were $600. I went home and purchased a comparable pair online for $132.

Brenda was super helpful with picking out glasses and helping me get the best price and didnt rush even though I was the last one there. I definitely recommend. Its also nice that you can make appointments online!

The staff here saved my ski weekend. I left home in a blizzard and realized I forgot my contact lens. I cannot use my goggles without the lens. Your staff kindly offered me some free trial lens. Dr. Cole Wilson and the staff here are great. In my experience, they have been professional, competent, and very friendly. I didnt have to wait at all for my appointment and they got me out of there quickly. Dr. Wilson has a very friendly, professional personality and knows his stuff.

Vision Source of GVR is the best provider of vision services I have used in over 20 years.Dr. OBrien is a true professional. She has me in the most comfortable contacts that I have used in 20 years. She took the time and modified the contacts until they were the best fit with 20/20 vision. I have been in contacts for over 40 years and I am not easy to fit. She also helped me with my dry eye problem and the program she has me in has taken care of this issue. She did a superb job in all facets of my eye care!Thomas Cervantes is a great optician. He has adjusted my glasses to make sure they have the best fit. Recently, my frames broke and Thomas fitted my lenses into loaner frames until my replacement frame arrived. Service above and beyond what is normal!The rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming.This office is a first class provider of vision services!

Exallent service. Very accommodating and kind professionals. I havent had a vision service done in a very long time. They made me feel so welcome, and comfortable. This was also my first time buying a pair of glasses, and it was such a great experience. They have so many frames to choose from. My experience was wonderful and Im so happy I decided to go here out of all the other options I had been previously looking at. I will certainly be referring my friends and family.

I love this place, even when it was Vision source. The front staff is absolutely amazing, the reason for the 4 stars is because, I took my 4 year old son in for his appt and while we were waiting for the doc, he was on his stool that spins (like kids like to do), the doc (Cole) comes in, hits my son on the arm and says hey man get up off my chair, at first I thought he was joking around but he was serious. His attitude was HORRIBLE, maybe he was having a bad day but so was I and I didnt take it out on him, so thats no excuse AT ALL. Especially to a 4 year old kid, if he doesnt like kids, he shouldnt see them. It took me so completely off guard. My 12 year old daughter was with me and we both looked at each other like did he really just do that?!?! We had another appt yesterday & I was NOT looking forward to seeing that doc and my prayers were answered. We seen a wonderful nice female doctor who is new to the office. I told her I wanted HER to be our doc from now on. Her attitude was much MUCH better!!

I would definitely recommend anyone to this office. The staff is very friendly and try hard to make sure you are happy with your optic needs. They were very helpful when teaching me how to use contacts and they fixed my old glasses that were cracked and needed new lenses. I found the atmosphere relaxing and welcoming.

Always proffesional and pleasant. I have had issues with contacts in the past, but I was happy to be given so many options here along with fittings/samples until I found the right fit. Team seems like they work very well together and it is a very nice environment.

I love all of the people at Vision Source GVR! They are so helpful and kind and fun. I never have to wait long and they always support me with my glasses adjusting or lens fixing, etc. You cant go wrong with either eye doctor, they are both fabulous!

Dr. OBrien and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I started getting annual eye exams here many years ago and have never had concerns. The lab for glasses is also very helpful. They never hesitate to adjust glasses beyond the initial fitting.

I Love Vision Source of GVR. I have been a patient for 2 years. I suffer with sjogrens, which affects my eye site. The Doctor helped me through the blurry vision and education where this decease affects my eyes.I never have to wait for a long period of time to be seen. The prices are fair and the service is excellent.I feel this is the best choice for me and my family.

Great experience at Vision Source of GVR. Just moved here and needed a good eye exam and contacts. Very thorough exam and best fitting for contacts I have ever had- also very helpful with using insurance. I will be going back to get glasses at year end. Thanks to the great staff there.

One of the front desk ladies was very rude when I went in for my sons eye appointment, I figured ok maybe she was just having a bad day but when I stopped by to pick up my sons glasses 2 weeks later she had the same bad attitude. She definitely shouldnt be in customer service, I will never go back there because of her. I gave 2 stars because the Dr was nice.

TERRIBLE!!! SAVE YOUR TIME!!! Took half the day off of work August 8 to make sure my daughter was seen. Get to the appt only to be told my appt is NEXT week after I verified August 8th was the day. Couldn’t make next weeks appt bc of a death in the family, I call to reschedule & have to wait a month. Finally the DAY BEFORE my appt I call to confirm AND NOTHING IS SCHEDULED!! What a waste!!! I got my glasses from here and they were fine. These people need training ASAP!!

Almost a year ago my 4 year old was traumatized by an eye exam. I was very nervous about going to another, but Dr. OBrien and her staff where absolutely wonderful. Even when I son screamed because he was afraid or had an outburst I never felt judge. They were so patient and kind. Just from the start being checked in was wonderful. Dr. OBrien explained everything about our eye health. The most memorable moment was when she came in placed false glasses on my son, when he realized how much his vision had improved and that he could see I was so touched by his reaction. Even when it came time to pick out our frame they worked so closely with my son so that he was able to pick frames that he liked. He was given an IPad while I picked my frames to keep him busy. I can honestly say that I will never go anywhere else and will recommend this office to all my friends and family, even strangers if I hear they are looking.

Got me in within an hour for an emergency shard removal from my eye. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!

I took the family in for consecutive eye appointments. I was really happy with every step of the process and how well they worked with us. This was the best experience I have had with any eye doctor ever.

Everyone at the office is so polite and patient. We go in about every month or so to have my sons glasses adjusted and they are so helpful!

Staff are more of sales person here with lack of experience in customer service. My entire family goes here but now it is time to change. DRs are very nice and friendly. Staff here needs to understand glass are more of peoples need then wants.Stop making excuses and get things done right the first time and start delivering service in timely manner.I do not recommend doing any business with Vision source of GVR.Horiable experience with staff here every time.

This office was extremely helpful to me when I ended up in Denver from out of town without my contacts. Very kind and professional staff. I highly recommend them.

Made an appt specifically for contacts only to be told my son would not get any today because they didn’t have the staff for it. But funnyhow I saw someone else trying out contacts. They said they could get him in mid october. And to top it off My sons eyes were dilated and they didn’t even give him something to block the light afterward. you guys were so great!

First time I was in I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment to get taken in for the pre exam tests and then after that was done I waited at least another 15 minutes in the exam room for Dr. OBrien.Gave them another shot this year for my eye exam just to make the constant text and emails to stop despite “opting out” multiple times and Dr. OBrien had nothing but excuses for trying to bill me as something other than an eye exam so she could bill it as a medical exam to my healthcare instead of my vision insurance. Every other patients talking at the front desk i heard “it’s a medical diagnosis so it has to be billed to your healthcare” while I was there.Melissa was probably the best experience while I was there she was great and even offered to get me in with a different doctor in the office and then had other suggestions than all the vitamins and creams that Dr. OBrien was shoving at me to buy from her or the pharmacy down the hall.

My experience at this office was awful. My financial options and the cost of the appointment were not explained to me before the appointment had already taken place. I was under the impression that they accepted Medicaid and that my appointment would be covered. WRONG. They accept Medicaid, but bill eye exams in such a way that I had to spend my grocery money on the exam. being disable and destitute I specifically came here because they said they accepted Medicaid and they should have explained beforehand that my appointment would not be covered. In addition to being tricked into an appointment I could not afford, when I was provided with my prescription they let off a crucial piece of information in order to try to strong arm me into spending hundreds I don’t have on their overpriced glasses in the office. When I explained that I cannot afford that and I needed to order my glasses from somewhere reasonable, they were rude and refused to give me the information. I ended up having to go to another provider to get it, and upon explaining my experience here they provided me my full prescription free of charge. the service was Terrible. DO NOT COME HERE. They are schiesty and unempathetic to empoverished and under served populations.

I scheduled an anual eye exam because I reciently moved to Colorado and my eyes have been itchy and my insurance allows one annual check without copay. Upon my appointment I checked in with reception and was taken back for an eye exam to which the eye doctor said its atributed to some calcium buildup under the eyelid and suggested I use some drops with antihistimen and if the problem persists then it could be removed surgically. When I left there was no copay and everything was great until I get a bill in the mail saying my insurance will not cover the exam, I called my insurance and they said the office billed it as a medical procedure and I needed to contact them.... Well I did and they said that it was a medical procedure so Im stuck with a bill for $99 dollars.I will never use their service and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I can only speak of my personal experience at Vision Source, but it wasnt great. The showroom/waiting area looks quite nice, but when I was there it had an off-puttingly quiet, library-like vibe that was strangely uncomfortable. The staff was pleasant, but unremarkable. The eye exam itself was fine, but there was an odd moment during which Dr. OBrien asked if I wanted her to do some eye scan (I forget the name). I paused, confused by the question – shes the doctor, and I assumed shed be making the call on what needed to be done. Then she lamely explained that it cost extra and wasnt covered by insurance. Thats not her fault, of course, but the exchange was just awkward. She didnt push too hard on the upsell, but I was left feeling like a schlub who didnt care about his own eye health, since I didnt want to shell out the extra money for an add-on.Afterward, I returned to the showroom, where I was assisted in selecting frames. This is usually the fun part, but once again... the vibe was just so deadpan, I felt like I needed to hurry up, pick the frames and get out. Everything about the experience from the time I entered until the moment I left just felt... awkward. Thats a completely subjective description, but I honestly didnt feel at ease there.A week and a half or so later, I got a phone call saying that my glasses were ready. I stopped by on my way home from work, and tried on the glasses. Eager to just get out, I said they looked fine (they didnt) and left. Once I got home, I tried them on in front of a mirror, and was disappointed. They looked horrible. I cant imagine they are the frames that I actually selected, since they looked completely wrong... but I stupidly didnt take a photo of the sample frames (or myself wearing them) on the day I picked them out. As a result, I had no _proof_ they werent the frames Id chosen. Adding insult to injury, everything looked worse with the glasses on. My vision isnt that bad to begin with, Im a bit nearsighted, but I havent ever consistently worn glasses. These were 75% just a fashion accessory. But putting the glasses on made everything harder to see. Maybe the lenses were created wrong, maybe the prescription was wrong... who knows.In the end, I have new glasses in a case... which is buried at the bottom of my desk drawer at work. I will never wear them because they look awful and make my vision worse. This entire experience is as much my fault as anyones, I suppose — for not being more careful in documenting the frames I picked, and for not being more assertive that the lenses or prescription didnt seem right. But I just didnt want to spend any more time there than I had to. I suppose Ill try this again next year — at a different establishment.
