Most incompetent office ever. They have told me they left voice mails for test results I never got so they either lied about leaving a message or left a message on someone elses machine. Huge HIPAA violation. I have never seen the doctor for more than five minutes, even with getting tested for a heart condition. They told me they would call me after my insurance approved something so I could come in for it and instead of calling like they said they wouod, they left a message in Follow My Health which I never use. I had to call multiple times to get this figured out, even when they said they would call back and never did.

Awful... had an appointment at 8am, got there at 8:08am. Receptionist gave me paperwork to fill out. Then came back a few minutes later to say she was told to reschedule my appointment. why? You are late! 8 minutes late? and why did you give me paperwork to fill out? Bad experience!

Terrible experience. I have a sinus infection and scheduled an appointment to see a primary physician. The receptionist said I had to schedule an afternoon appointment because I was not feeling well and that is when they take sick patients. I did, and a week later when I was able to get in they put me in a little room and gave me a Covid test. After 15 minutes of waiting, I was negative. The lady then told me I had to call to make a regular appointment?! I was not told this when I originally scheduled. I called off work and wasted an hour of time taking a test I know I did not need and STILL was not able to see a doctor!!!! THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME! If this is protocol, fine, but that is something your receptionists should know and be trained on. Totally unacceptable. I will not be coming back here.

I wOuld give a zero if i could, the one time my 80 year old grandmother went alone without me she went in for labs and the heavy set lady at the front desk was so rude, mis read my grandmothers card and when she got help from the other nurse her cards were correct the heavy set lady said my grandmother doesnt know how to read or listen because she misread her card, my grandmother left so sad and not even wanting to go back. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Just switched over to this office. The staff is efficient and professional. They sent me paperwork to fill out prior to coming in. I saw Dr. Horiuchi, and he was attentive and answered all my questions. I know doctors these days have many patients, so having him engaged in the conversation and willing to go over my health concerns with the limited time we had was a breath of fresh air.My physical, complete with blood tests, took maybe 20 minutes tops.For those reading this review while the COVID-19 pandemic is going on: theyll stop you at the front door and make you swap out your mask for a surgical one if its made of cloth. I know its a bit silly, but I wish I knew these beforehand so I could have used my own N95 and not waste a disposable mask. Just something to consider before going!

Dr H is very professional and explains everything to my elderly mother in a way that she understands.Sam is the best.

Dr. Horiuchi is HANDS DOWN the best GP I have ever had. He is present when he is with you. He is friendly, compassionate, and empathetic. So many doctors fail to achieve the very basic traits required of a doctor. Dr. Horiuchi is not one of them. The staff at Bear Valley is always friendly. I feel welcomed and validated every time I visit. I HIGHLY recommend New West Physicians Bear Valley to anyone who is looking for a new GP.

Dr. H is by far the best PCP I know. I have been a patient of his for many years. Being a nurse myself, I know a lot of doctors and could not be happier. He has been incredibly supportive during my recent health concerns and I have complete trust in his plan of care. His office staff is wonderful to work with, always kind and professional. Dr. Archabal is fantastic. The visit was fast and thorough, almost no time spent waiting in either the waiting room or exam room. They even have a blood lab inside the office. Very convenient and friendly staff!

I drive 1.5 hours roundtrip to see Dr. Horiuchi (Dr. H). He is such a compassionate medical provider / great person / and every time I move - I will be sure to keep him as my doctor.

I have been searching for a new physician for a while now. My wife just started going here so I figured Id give them a shot. Ive had a bad cough for a week so I figured this would be the perfect situation to try them out. I called when they opened this morning and was told that they would only be able to see me if I was an existing patient. You have appointments available but if Ive been there before? Yes, the receptionist replied.What an interesting business strategy... only welcoming folks in need if theyve utilized your services in the past and rejecting any potential new business. Must be nice to be doing so well. I guess my search for a new physician will continue because I surely will never be using this place.

During my in-person appointment the staff were friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and welcoming. I also had a telehealth visit recently and it worked really well. There were limited wait times. I would recommend New West Physicians!

Have been a patient for almost three years. Called to schedule my annual physical and was told the next appointment was nearly two months out. When I expressed my surprise at this, the scheduling employee said (and I quote): You should have scheduled it sooner.Ive always appreciated the medical care Ive received at this office, to the point where I continued to go despite moving an hour from the office. The above mentioned employee has made me rethink my relationship with the practice.

Ive been going to New West Physicians before it was New West, when it was located on South Federal Blvd and I was 6-years-old with an ear ache. My doctor was Dr. Herman Doyle, who retired years ago when his son, Dr. R. Victor Vic Doyle, took over his fathers practice. Dr. Vic Doyle retired this year, 2018, and I will miss him. Now Im 65 and seeing Dr. Kent Horiuchi, another fine physician at New West and a Colorado nativeI feel at home at Bear Valley New West Physicians and always have. Ive never had one moment when I thought of going anywhere else. My doctors have always been personable and professional. Oh, and I dont have to wait three months for an appointment. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. Dr. Panozzo is such a great Doctor. He really listens to you and you never feel rushed. I feel like were a team when it comes to my health. He called me personally to follow up on some X-rays I had taken! Wow!

I never seen Dr. Silva before (my usual doctor wasn’t in that day), but she was terrific! So nice and easy to talk to, I would definitely be happy to see her again and would highly recommend her.

My experience here was wonderful. I had an infected dermal piercing that needed immediate attention. They were able to get me in the same day I called. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable and provided me with antibiotics that healed my piercing fast. I will definitely be going here again.

My wife and I have been a patient w/NWP since the existence of NWP and prior to that as well.What we do not agree with is: when we are in need of outside patient care, are we confined to use for ex. Panorama Orthopedics? My wife has not had a positive experience with this Orthopedic group re: her knee issues.Insurance is always the issue, we know.

I really like Dr. Archibal got some straight answers for a change. Seems in past visits Dr. H was always in a rush without really stating what my issues were even though I suspected but not confirmed.

Very disappointed I been up all night not feeling good. And I called this morning to make a appointment to be seen. And I’ve been told that there systems are down and that can’t schedule an appointment for me to see me primary doctor. I was told to call back in a hour so I did and the receptionist named Amanda is super rude and suggest that I go to a urgent care!! My doctor from this office is phenomenal and cares about his patients. So I don’t see why they would not have some type of back up system for clients to be seen? It’s very disappointing so I am forced to see someone that knows nothing about me. Im very unhappy having to go to the urgent care.

I go here for primary care visits with Dr. Horiuchi. Hes one of the best doctors Ive met - takes time to listen to your concerns, has patience, talks about different options and why he recommends them, and treats you with respect. The nurses and front office staff are always very courteous as well. I also never have waited more than about 10 minutes from the time I check in to to the time I actually see a doctor.

Back about 10 years ago....I had forgotten to leave a review. I was having excruciating pain. It took this place 8 months of repeated appointments to catch that I had gallstones and was treated like a hypocondriac often. Finally after seeing every doctor in the practice Dr. Doyle saw me again and scheduled an ultrasound. They called me at work and told me Id need surgery. I was scared and never had one. I called to ask Dr. Doyle questions and after asking only 2 and getting a rude response, he says,Look, I got to go, I got other patients! How awful and rude!!! I didnt deserve that. There is a better way to express how busy you are. This was a real and serious issue they should have caught from the beginning. Not my fault all the docs there cant see actual symptoms when they are obviously presenting...upper abdominal pain that radiates through the back, vomiting...a simple Google search of that brings up many things yet gallstones is on of them and that didnt seem to cross their minds. I even suggested it. I was told I had acid reflux...I hadnt ever even experienced heart burn before. My pain was excruciating...not some minor nuisance. This is why I will NEVER go there again. And why the current doctor I have gets my business.

First off I am super happy to have a woman Doctor join NW. Dr. Archabal-Lee is a great addition. She has helped me greatly with migraines I am forever grateful!

Ive had so many terrible experiences finding a primary care doctor that took my insurance. They kept doing me. I was nervous when I walked into New West for the first time yesterday, but they are a blessing. The front staff is friendly and patient (I called and verified insurance at least 3 times prior to the appointment and asked 2 times while checking in and wrote about my concerns on the establishing care paperwork). I had nothing to worry about and the staff answered me kindly each time... Zero irritation... Only positive emotional support. Then I met the doctor. Dr Panozzo was AMAZING! Hes kind, patient, and supportive. He helped me establish care for myself and my family and helped me obtain the medication I needed for my ailment. I also enjoyed not receiving any lectures. I think the doctor viewed us as partners in health. Thank you!The other positive experience was in the waiting room. The other patients were laughing and speaking with each other and the office staff. The atmosphere was like coming to visit family. I left feeling so fortunate to have a family doctor that helps and cares about me and my familys health.

I met Dr. Archabal yesterday. She kindly saw me as my primary care doctor, Dr. Horiuchi was booked up for the day and I felt I needed to be seen as soon as possible. Dr. Archabal was very patient as I told her of my symptoms and the length of time I have had them she ordered meds and explained some actions I could take to relieve them . I understand that it will take time to completely recover from my sinus infection and cough but the information she gave seems to be helping with the symptoms as I am looking forward to the end of this bug I have. Terrible customer service. The dont take the time to listen and the rush you and are very frank. Hard to get an answer from them and the staff has the snobby feel. Definitely changing.
