Dr Wahl saved my dad’s life and I will forever be grateful to him and everyone around him.

I wrote a negative review several months ago and somehow it has disappeared. Interestingly there are only 5 star reviews on here. This complaint is not against Dr. Wahl - it is against his horrible staff and Practice Manager. My wife is on a very expense yet life saving drug called Repatha. In order for the insurance company to approve this drug they need a lot of information. Dr. Wahl said my wife should definitely be on Repatha. However, his staff failed to work with insurance to authorize. It took us several calls and discussions with his practice Manager. They finally did their job and worked with United to authorize (this was 6 months ago). Now, the drug needs re-authorization. The insurance company actually reached out to Dr. Wahls office two days ago. His staff has not followed-up. My wife is currently on the phone with Dr. Wahls office and is literally starting from scratch. If you are a patient that needs an important medication avoid this practice like the plague.Here is the review I wrote several months ago. It is under Denver Heart:This is the worst physician group if ever encountered. My wife has a dangerous heart condition and has had a cath/stint procedure. It took multiple calls to get them to submit clinical information to get her medication authorized. She now cannot get any of her questions answered. We have left multiple messages for the practice manager, Barbara, over the course of a week. She simply will not call back. The doctor, Wahl, is not responsive either.

Best doctor ever! Dr. Wahl is truly patient oriented and takes his time with each patient. He listens to your concerns and takes the time to explain everything that he is considering in providing you the best care possible. He is an amazing doctor and I wouldnt even consider another doctor in his place. We are lucky to have him.

Dr Wahl has been my cardiologist for over ten years. His exams and advice have been top notch. He is a great listener and can explain complicated problems at a very understandable level. He is caring as well as very professional. A number one cardiologist.

I have been with Dr. Wahl for 5 years after having left two previous cardiologists.He is not only a highly skilled physician, he is the leader of a team of professionals who jointly seek to help their patients. One of his --and their-- important skills is the ability to explain test results and diagnosis in understandable language.I cannot imagine a more patient-oriented doctor.
