Dr. Abruzzo took the time to listen and explain everything in connection with my condition. I would recommend him to anyone in need of of a great Cardiologist.

I met Dr. Abruzzo after being transported to St. Josephs Hospital during an Atrial Fibrillation episode. Rather than dwell on the horrible treatment I received from the onsite doctor that evening and night, I will focus on how Dr. Abruzzo flew in like Superman and saved the day!Dr. Abruzzo didnt know me from Adam, but within minutes of being in his presence, he treated me like human life and not just a medical ID number. The treatment I had been receiving, or lack thereof, made me extremely upset, and I believe Dr. Abruzzo was well aware that all of this was exacerbating my current situation.Dr. Abruzzo reached out and held my hand, and something as small and simple as that, can (and did) mean the world to a scared patient. I dont think ANY doctor had ever done that to me before. He was so kind and caring and advocated to get me the help I needed at that moment so I could be ready for an invasive procedure he was to perform three hours later.Because of his advocacy, I was able to calm down and sleep for those three hours (after being there about 15). We believe it is what pulled me out of Atrial Fibrillation, literally, moments before he was about to perform the procedure.Thank you Dr. Abruzzo for everything that night, and I am so grateful that you are my Cardiologist!

Dr. Abruzzo is one of my favorite doctors. He is very professional , a good listener and he takes the time to discuss my medical issues. I feel very lucky that my heart is in his hands.

This may sound corny, but not only is Dr. Abruzzo a highly component physician who knows how to navigate the complexities of Cardiology but he also has a working understanding of compassion & love.
