I started seeing her around my 30th week of pregnancy when I found out my sweet baby was breech and she helped me try to turn him naturally. I had severe sciatic nerve pain for almost 2 years. I saw a chiropractor for over 1 year and a acupuncturist for 6 months and nothing helped. I started receiving acupuncture from Macushla over two years ago when I was pregnant with my second child. I was having uncomfortable pain in my hips throughout my pregnancy up until I started acupuncture. After just several treatments, the pain level decreased significantly. In addition to helping with the pain, in general I felt that acupuncture helped with my overall stress and well-being during my pregnancy.I recently started seeing Machulsa again when I developed tendonitis in my wrist. My pain level had increased to where it was prohibiting my daily functioning and being able to pick up my youngest child. After three treatments my pain level went from a 7 to 2.I’m thrilled with my results and cannot recommend Machulsa enough. Macushla is hands down one of the best acupuncturists Ive ever worked with, and as a chiropractor, Ive worked with quite a few. Ive been having pain in my right pointer finger for at least 3 weeks now with limited improvement, which has been debilitating in my line of work. I saw Macushla for my first treatment of the finger, wrist and forearm last night. She needled me (even brought out the baby needles, as Im needle-sensitive), used moxa, dry needled using electric stimulation and finally cupped my back - WOW!!
