I just drove by today and saw they are closing this location. I am beyond SAD! Its the only one left in the area and they had the best selection of EVERYTHING, especially vegan items. I dont know what Im going to do now.

Great place to shop, friendly staff and employees, lots of products and variety to choose from. From their selection of food, candy, coffee, and non-consumables just to name a few.

I love drug emporium! So sad to see the “store closing soon” sign this week. This is one of those places I love to shop and find something new to try or items that are unusual. But also they have most of the items on my grocery list, all at the same price of any other competitors store. I will miss this store!!

Looking at the outside and the name, I would probably have never entered this store, but with a recommendation from a coworker, I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprise to find they have a variety of gluten free products and other necessary items at a fairly affordable price. They also have a great selection of adaptive equipment and aisles are easy to navigate. Just a good reminder to not judge a book by its cover.

Love Drug Emporium. Sad to see it close. You could find what you were looking for, or something compatible. Great store.

Although theyre going out of business now, they were once my favorite natural grocery place in Denton. They had spiritual things and natural foods as well as normal stuff youd need and the pharmacy was affordable. I am sad to see them go.

Its going out of business, so people are awful! Customers have thrown things! Squirted shampoo on the floor! The clean up crew was working as fast as they could to clean up after horrible customers. Unfortunately, even at 60% off, prices are still high.

Love Drug Emporium!!! A great place for nostalgia. Old fashioned candies, affordable hair color, natural body care, supplements and healthy foods as well as the good old standards you find at most grocery stores. So much more could be said. Would be 5 stars from me if the place was twice as big with an ever greater variety!

Always has hard to find and unique items. I absolutely adore this store. Carries many salon only products, amazing natural products and foods selections, warehouse bargain prices. Highly suggest checking it out of you have never been.

Just had the best experience here! I transferred my prescription from CVS after having issues. The entire staff was super helpful and the cost of my prescription decreased from $58 to $14. Cannot wait to shop here in the future!

Where to begin? There is a variety of everything! The pharmacy is great. I needed a compression wrap like Coban. The Drug Emporium brand was cheaper and better quality than the name brands. The makeup / perfume area has anything you need and sometimes some clearance deals. Huge selection of vitamins, packaged foods, drinks and frozen foods, lots of health food. The employees are helpful and friendly.

They have everything health food wise and natural you can shake a stick at. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best health food store in town. The RX pharmacy isnt the best but they have a huge selection of over the counter meds and natural homeopathic medicine you wont find elsewhere.

Great prices. Been there for a long time. Sad to aee them going out of business.

I was elated to find Drug Emporium when we moved to a Denton. I shopped at the one when it came to Plano in the 70s and the one in Tyler when we lived in that area. They just keep getting better!

This is my go to spot for perfume testing. You can purchase a travel sized bottle of whatever perfume/ cologne you can ever think of and they will fill it up for you for $5. It last about a week that way you can try it out on your skin before you commit to a buying a full bottle. All their knick knacks and little things you can buy are really cool and they have name brand hair supplies for a fraction of the cost anywhere else. Love this place

Was told they don’t have a working bathroom, one question about sanitation and told Shane I was going to contact the city of Denton He said it’s an issue of drainage, which means that there’s unsanitary conditions in a place that is selling food products for public consumption. I will not be back to this nasty unsanitary building. Health coach states that if you’re open to the public you must have a restroom if you sell food. Are their employees trampling through sewage spreading that across the building? This is completely nasty and disturbing a formal complaint has been filed with the city of Denton.

Great vitamin section, lots of natural food brands too. Small section of more conventional grocery stuff too, but beware prices on that stuff are higher than regular grocery stores. Overall a nice local spot with friendly staff.

I love the clearance section at the perfume counter. I always buy the tester bottles BC sometimes I can get em for a Buck!! LOL!!

Drug Emporium was nice clean employees were helpful and courteous kind and for eager to help someone look for product to take hair I love the pharmacy cuz they been going there for over 20 years and I have always been friendly encountering I love the redhead that works back through good artist bird dog and I would recommend people going there cuz they are there are fast and like Fast and Furious get you get your prescriptions in and get you go up and going for an out the door

This is a great place, Im so glad Denton has it. Theres no other place like it in town.

We have shopped here for many years and have noticed multiple things that were not acceptable but kept going because of some of the items they carry and we could get most of what we needed, sometimes cheaper. Our family member worked here and the manager blatantly manipulated the truth to fire them, very unprofessional and dishonest manager. We do not support this place anymore, those of us that still do barely go compared to before when doing most of our shopping here first. We dont recommend this location anymore unfortunately.Response: The reprobate is still manager, it was done very much with his knowledge and approval so it would be redundant to speak with them. If I could rate this place zero stars I would because of the filthy lack of character displayed. Literally no integrity at all, I would be very nervous if I owned this store.

This is a lovely little pharmacy! Super short wait times and the staff does their best to assist you when you need it. Shelby helped me out today as my insurance expired and found a coupon for my 77$ prescription for 8$. Super thankful and will be coming here exclusively for all my pharmacy needs. 💖

Only place that sells food that i have ever seen that doesnt accept EBT. Also the old lady who rang me up entered SEVERAL items 29$ instead of 2.90 and my total ended up being over 300 for maybe 15 items!! i told her there must be a mistake and she checked and found out what had happened. She was on the phone the whole entire time so thats Probably why she made the mistakes.then after all that i tried to pay the food items with EBT to be told they didnt accept that!!! So humiliating because by that time there was a long line formed behind me that had to witness me putting the food items back since i knew i could get them somewhere else and have it covered by EBT...

Theres a discounted natural grocers inside!!! 1/3 of the store is similar to whole foods and natural grocers with a discount. No produce tons of supplements.

First and foremost this place is handicapped accessible and has handicap parking. I have been shopping at The drug emporium since I was a child and my mother shop there as well so thats how I fell in love with this place. Anything medical related like manual wheelchairs shower chairs walkers and canes they have. They also have a pharmacy that is very fast and all the employees are very generous and helpful. They also have a full grocery section they do regular foods health foods and vegan foods. Honestly some of the prices on some items are a little bit more than what you would get at Walmart but the quality is exactly what Im there for. If you want to support local businesses that have been there for very long time drug emporium is definitely a place to go.

They dont have everything like Wal-Mart but they have a lot of different stuff. And a huge selection of vitamins, supplements, and herbal stuff. Nice staff fast visit

Theres a section by the toilet paper it smells extremely moldy. I think they need bleach the air conditioner. have somebody come out inspect us to find out why its moldy. I could smell it through my mask.
