I visited Dr. Walters to have a crown replaced today. I went in expecting the worst due to extreme dental anxiety. Seriously, the dental chair is the last place on earth I would ever want to be. Dr. Walters was very gentle and made sure to explain every step of the procedure along the way. It was quick and painless. Zack took my x-rays and was amazing! Brooke took some impressions for a night guard at the end of my appointment and was an absolute pro!!! I’m a heavy gagger and she got us through it very quickly while also taking the time to explain exactly what I needed to do to be comfortable. Thank you Dr. Walters and team!

Dr. Smith and all staff were amazing. Like most people I do not enjoy going to the dentist. However, my experience with Modern Dentistry was superb. Dr. Smith explained every test and procedure in detail. I feel confident my oral health will be guided by the best care. The environment was relaxing and great music. My previous dentist recently retired and I am relieved to have found such a great practice!

I would 10/10 recommend coming to Juban crossing for your dental needs. Everyone in the office is nice and welcoming! Dr. Smith is very friendly and personable! He is meticulous so you know when you leave he did his best practices to make you feel better. Dr. Walters is also amazing!! I can’t explain how great of a dentist she is. I’ve had a fear of dentist my entire life until Dr. Walters. Just know coming here that you’ll be well taken care of!

Dr. Smith was amazing!!! My boyfriend had two crowns done by him. The entire time he constantly checked on him and made sure he knew everything that was going on. His bed side manners were amazing. He made things so comfortable for my boyfriend it didn’t even feel like we were at a dentist office, especially for someone who is terrified of the dentist. He was quick and their was absolutely no pain. He did a thorough exam and made sure that all of my boyfriends needs were addressed and did his best to resolve any issues. I was so impressed that I decided to book an appointment with him for the following week! 100/10 we love him!!!❤️

Amazing office staff!! Karla went above and beyond for me which is not very common anymore. My insurance benefits were given to me before my visit and Karla answered all of my questions and was extremely patient and understanding. Dr. Jacob Smith was absolutely wonderful! As someone who can be quite anxious when it comes to dental procedures, Dr. Smith made me feel comfortable— taking great care to make sure I was fully numbed, asking if I was doing okay periodically, and giving me instruction on what was going on as he was making progress on my tooth. Very friendly and hospitable, I felt like I was talking to a friend! Compassionate, caring, and funny, too!

My experience was great. This was my first time at the dentist office and it was definitely a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and My Dr. did a very great job explaining to me everything that I need to get done. She was very gentle with my teeth. Had the most pleasant experience getting my lips done by Dr. Walters. She made me feel so comfortable and made sure my lips were exactly how I wanted them before letting me walk out the door. Brooklyn Crochet assisted Dr. Walters during the lip injection process and also did my zoom teeth whitening for me. Brooklyns bubbly personality and attention to detail was something everyone should want when choosing a dental office and I am so glad I found it! I cannot recommend Juban Modern Dentistry, Dr. Walters and Brooklyn Crochet enough! I cannot wait to go back.

New member of the staff Dr Joshua Brandner Oral Surgeon is awesome, for lack of a better term. My experience was amazing. Dr Bradner and team did a fantastic job of easing my anxiety, they were very caring and compassionate. I am extremely afraid of all surgerys, especially when they have to happen in my mouth! I was made so comfortable, my anxiety subsided and I was out of there in no time. Very little after-pain! I highly recommend! 😁

Karla & Zach were very cordial, patient & thorough. Dr. Walker also carefully cleaned & checked my teeth, explaining all work that was needed. Excellent care.

I wasn’t aware that I had to fill out info via a portal acct that was sent to my email that looked like spam! The lady at the front desk watched me struggle on my phone then hands me an iPad to do it and tells me I could not be seen until it was done. This was also my little girls first visit. I was told we may have to reschedule after I already took time off of work. After finally finishing in the app I was told we would only have time for my daughters cleaning and I would have to reschedule bc the dentist had her daughter being dropped off and she would cry. So I was rushed and made to feel unimportant. I found the front staff to be rude and unfriendly. The dentist was nice. My experience at this place was not the best.

These people are amazing! Not only did they take in my entire family, they made my kids feel extremely comfortable. This has never happened. I have always been terrified of dental visits, but they eased my anxiety. From the front desk, to X-rays, to cleanings and dental work, 5-stars across the board.

If I could put ZERO stars I would! If you’re BLACK do NOT go here! This office is full of jealous women who will LIE to make you spend more money than necessary. They spent more time trying to get me into surgery saying I had gum disease when it wasn’t true after getting a second opinion! After I declined the surgery for 3,000 they gave me a cleaning within 5 minutes which is what I initially came in for!got me rite out of there! Didn’t even get a bag and tooth brush with the paste on the way out! This place is about money and far LESS about consumer appreciation. MONEY TALKS

Good people. However prior to the appointment we had them on speaker phone and they had said that there would be a consultation fee, but if the tooth was extracted that it would go towards the extraction ( 3 people in the house her her say it). Upon leaving they gave us another bill because the consultant fee did not go towards the extraction as told prior to the appointment. They only gave him about 10 extra gauze pads and no disinfectant rince. ( knowing his history) My question is, why did we have to have a consultation when we already did his history with the other dentist and sent labs??Dont they communicate or look at the history sheet prior in seeing their patients?

This is the best dental office in Denham Springs. After a long battle with a loose filling from another dentist, that was replaced multiple times, this tooth has finally been taken care of! Not only did the entire staff comfort me throughout my appointment, but Dr Walters and her team stayed past closing time to complete my work. Amazing people! AdvancedTechnology! Altogether the best experience at a dental office that i ever had!I was suffering from a toothache while shopping and I saw the dentist sign for Juban Crossing. I decided to walk in and see what they could do. At the time I did not have time to get the tooth taken care of. They did a quick exam realized I had a cavity touching the nerve. The next day I was scheduled for an extraction. I walked in and 30 minutes later walked out the tooth was removed And no pain everyone was very caring and gentle and extremely professional! thank you guys so much at Juban crossing for taking good care of me!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️If you thinking about getting any work done on your teeth give these guys a try. for less than 60 bucks you get a full exam and cleaning to go along with it well worth it.

I would really recommend going here! I feel that in today’s world it is hard to find customer service oriented businesses. The entire staff at Juban Crossing Modern Dentistry has always been kind and informative every visit I have had. They discuss prices before doing anything and make sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Dr. Walters and her staff are amazing. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff noticed I was very nervous immediately and asked if I was okay. I told them I had multiple bad experiences with different dentists throughout my life. They were very empathetic and walked me through every step! They explained different feelings prior to anything being done. Dr. Walters came highly recommended and I traveled from Houston, TX to see her. I will be returning from Houston for my follow ups and any future procedure. My overall experience was absolutely phenomenal.

Nice people, nice office but where misleading about pricing. Stuck me with bill almost twice as much as discussed. Saying twice something was only 350$ when it was 1000$ on bill with the screen facing them and said I forget to sign some consent form for the dental work. Since my visit two of my caps have came unglued.

Had to pay upfront for wisdom teeth extraction. Doesnt care about filing a claim with insurance so be sure to do it yourself otherwise it will not get done!!!Update: Claim filed 5 months after services, now they dont want to reimburse after receiving insurance money!

This place is crown happy. My wife went to the location at Juban Crossing and they told her she needed 2 crowns at the price of $4000!!! I went to the location on Airline and they did the same to me!! Go to a locally owned dentist office that is owned by a real old fashioned dentist and not an investment group!!

They did my crown here a couple years ago and messed it up and am now having to have it fixed at a different dentist office

My husband and I are retired senior citizens. We hadn’t been to a dentist for several years and suddenly realized that we had dental insurance included in our medical insurance. We found this new location listed as “in network “ and went by to make appointments for cleanings for each of us. The office staff was very helpful. The registration forms were emailed to us to fill out before our appointments. We came back to the office a week or so later and were warmly greeted and asked to finish the registration process-electronically signed a few forms. We had barely sat down and I was called to the back to begin my visit. I could go on and on about how easy this visit was made for us. From Tori at the front desk (awesome!), to the sweet dental assistant (awesome!) to Sarah, the dental hygienist (double awesome!) to Dr. Walters (very awesome!) everyone was so helpful, professional and as painless as possible. Everything was explained to us and they took lots of time with us like we were their only patients! We will totally be recommending to family,friends and even strangers that will listen. Excellent service! ADDENDUM: I just went for my cleaning and loved the new hygienist, Ashlyn. Very professional and very gentle. Still love Dr. Walters, Becki at the front desk and everyone else, including X-ray tech, top notch !!

I am my mother’s caregiver (for Edith Oubre) and I brought her in to Juban Crossing Modern Dentistry for the process of getting (upper) dentures done to transform her smile back to the way it was in her younger years. My wife had two root canals done there in 2015, they didnt finish caping her teeth and now her teeth have disintegrated enough that she pulled a piece of cotton out of the hole that they drilled. Cotton they stuffed in her tooth after they did her root canal and cemented over it. I would have given you a negative 10 instead of one stars. She and i will be looking into lawyers to sue.

The ladies at the front at the desk were unfriendly as HellI had to speak to them first,The Sign says Emergency & Walk in Welcome,But they still said they couldnt see,in the lady leaving out said they open until 6pm today,I hope & pray it does have anything to do with the color of my skin🤔,#sad

I chose 5 star because the service was excellent ,price was fair, and everyone made you feel welcome. This was my first visit and glad I made this choice.

Please get a second opinion before allowing this practice to do anything in your mouth. They performed unnecessary work which cost me over $800! I trusted them and they ripped me off!

This place is amazing!! Staff is very polite and professional. From beginning to end I can’t think of anything that could have been done better. I called at 745am 11/3/17 to see if they could fit me in to have a broken tooth fixed. Tori answered the phone and asked how she could help, I explained her my situation and after a very brief hold time she told me I could be there for 9am. Once Tori found out I was a new patient she emailed me all of the paperwork to fill out online to avoid a delay once I arrived. It took me all of 5 min to fill out the paperwork, which was very convienent considering I was still at work. I arrived about 850 for my 900am apt, was greeted by two very polite young ladies that got me checked in and within minutes I was in the back for X-rays. The whole process took about an hour and a half from check in to the time I walked out the door, I could not have been more impressed. The quality of care and work they provide is unparalleled, so much better then my last dentist. Every person I encountered was very polite and professional! My long term treatment was planned out and explained with all of my future out of pocket expenses broken down and simplified so there was no confusion. I cannot day enough good things about the staff and envinronment Juban Modern Dentistry provides. If you’re looking for a new dentist they are defnately worth trying! A+

This place will cheated me out of my money. I overpaid by alot and the still they did a poor job. I got a tooth pulled and spent the next three weeks finishing the job myself with a pocket knife and tweezers scaping all the leftover tooth from my gums. Very painful!!!! Ill never go back there!!!!
