5+ stars....Dr. Goodwin and his staff are by far the best in town. The compassion and kindness from everyone there was incredible. Angela at the front desk took care of all my insurance needs, and Kathy was very professional in booking my hospital appointment and answering any additional questions.My procedure, DIEP flap surgery (Mastectomy) due to breast cancer, after sufficient healing I had my consult with Dr. Goodwin. I knew immediately I was in the hands of an expert in breast reconstruction. What I presented to him was not an easy fix, I never thought my breasts would look good again, I lost all hope until I met Dr. Goodwin. He is very easy to talk to and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I am post op a little over 2 weeks and I am amazed how well my breasts look.I already feel “whole “ again and my confidence level is coming back.I highly recommend Dr. Goodwin, he is the best,I am truly blessed that I found him.

Dr. Matthew Goodwin and his staff are the best Ive ever encountered at a Doctors office. First Angie takes care of the insurance to make sure everything goes through. Ive never experienced such efficiency In my life. I cant say enough good things about her. Now for doctor Goodwin I had a double mastectomy eight years ago and the cancer was a terrifying diagnosis. I was scared and didnt know enough about my options. I was just grateful to be alive so I just went with the flow and had expanders and implants. I never liked my results and for eight years wouldnt even look at myself in the mirror but was tired of all the surgeries Ive had. Fast forward eight years later I was blessed to find Dr. Goodwin he did a diep flap which he used my fat from my abdomen to create my breast. Im so grateful to have found him. He really cares about his patients. if you dont like this doctor theres probably no doctor you would like. I love him and his staff.

I had my first consultation.with Dr Goodwin about a year and a half ago after being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It was early in the treatment process, as I had not even begun the six months of chemo I would be getting.I’m glad I took the advice of my breast surgeon to see Dr Goodwin early. He and his staff made me feel there was light at the end of the tunnel. He is very kind and the staff is wonderful.After my mastectomy Dr Goodwin checked on me the next day at the hospital and called too make sure I was ok once I was home.Dr Goodwin planned my reconstruction and it turned out exactly as planned. I’m very happy with the results . I would highly recommend him.

If you have insurance, look elsewhere because you will not be cared for and supported. Surgeon (Matthew Goodwin) blatantly lied to me and gave me the runaround, I am not particularly sure why. Refuses to work with insurance. Insurance denied me (not their fault, initially) and was told they would not do a peer to peer review (or help with an appeal) because it is “only for differences in required grams.” Ok that’s fine. Weeks later I get a letter in the mail saying I was denied because of the required grams. I then get a call from the office saying there’s nothing else they can do, and they still wont do a peer to peer review because the insurance “just doesnt seem to want to approve me.” Huh? My INSURANCE called their office to ask them to do a peer to peer review and they REFUSED, despite me being ADVISED by my insurance to ask them anyway. As you can see, I had lots of backing and support from the company the insurance would have ended up paying. The insurance reps I spoke to were APPALLED that I was dealing with such a surgeon and never heard of this happening to any of their members. I am ashamed and unhappy that I wasted my money and time here. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dr. Matthew Goodwin and his staff are the best!! He was able to fix a botched job, I received from another plastic surgeon after a double mastectomy. Great bedside manner, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

Recently I went to see Dr. Goodwin for a consult. One of my implants had been punctured during a needle biopsy.. I am an older woman and my implants were old also. He explained very thoroughly the options and answered all of my questions. I decided to remove and replace my implants. He shared later that both my implants were ruptured badly. Dr. Goodwin was kind, professional, and he did an excellent job. I can say I’m very glad that I went to Dr. Goodwin and wish I had gone sooner. I highly recommend him. He has a wonderful staff also.

Dr. Goodwin and his team are a group of angels! They took the most incredible care of me throughout a very challenging time in my life when I was dealing with cancer and if that wasnt enough, my results are amazing. Even a year later, when I needed them, they responded quickly, made time for me and took incredible care of me! You cant get better than Dr. Goodwin!!!

In my search to find “a perfect fit” surgeon for not only my specific needs - health wise, but my fears and concerns on an emotional level; I was referred to Dr. Goodwin by a colleague of mine in my home state of New York, and several people in my adopted home of Florida. Dr. Goodwin is a surgeon who is highly skilled and precise. His work is impeccable and the pride he takes in his work is like no other. While Dr. Goodwin’s credentials alone speak for themselves, credentials do NOT make a great surgeon. His bedside manner, the time he takes during every office visit, his compassion, and his willingness to listen, his ability to educate me and calm my fears are just some of the things that make Dr. Goodwin such a great surgeon. His responses to all my concerns were met with thoughtful responses and never once made me feel that my questions were unfounded or mundane.Dr. Goodwin’s demeanor is carried through to his office staff. While constantly maintaining a sense of professionalism and excellent care, they never forget the emotional side of the patients they are dealing with. This compassion was evident at every step of my experience – from consultation, pre-op, and right through to post-op! I highly recommend Dr. Goodwin to anyone who is considering any type of plastic surgery…I have never seen work like his. I am thankful and blessed that my journey led me to cross paths with this wonderful and gifted surgeon!

Dr. Goodwin is the most amazing reconstructive surgeon with a wonderful gentle bedside manner. Top notch results after a bi-lateral mastectomy. Breast cancer diagnosis is never easy but he and his staff helped me through and I couldnt be more thrilled with the end result.

Dr. Goodwin did my lift for symmetry after lumpectomy BEFORE my radiation for best results and 18 months out, the results are fantastic. I consulted with 3 doctors and his approach was the most conservative as tissue does not heal the same after radiation. He restored my view of myself and was nothing but professional and very caring. Get several opinions and you will see what I mean.

Dr. Mathew Goodwin is the best plastic surgeon I have ever experienced. This was my 6th breast surgery from a double mastectomy and the last doctor seriously disfigured me. He was completely professional, personable & honest. He came through for me at age 68 and restored my faith in doctors.The the down time was shorter than I expected and his staff is great cant say enough good things about him except Thank you Sr. Goodwin
