Tamica is truly a Hair Artist Not many are blessed to be great at both CUT & COLOR. May be a bit hard to reach but worth the effort!

Ive been going to this salon for almost 3 years, and have loved it the whole time. Valentina is just so great: talented, friendly, and very professional. My last haircut before the pandemic was from her in March 2020, and I waited until June 2021 before getting another haircut because of safety protocols, but also because I wanted Valentina and no else to cut my hair. Cant say enough about how wonderful it is to have found her.

Seth was my stylist and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was willing to accommodate my busy schedule and did a wonderful job. I will only be seeing him in the future !

I have the greatest stylist!!! Always flexible, cares about what I want, takes her time and delivers an amazing color and cut every time I go in!!The salon is beautiful, clean and always smells nice! The mirrors are always clean and shiny and everyone in there are always courteous and polite. The only way I will ever change hair stylist as if I have to move to another city or state. First time client so disappointed the I had to be one of does customer with a bad experience. I waited there for 45 minutes with no one to help me no one to Greet me and then when someone finally Acknowledge me they didn’t even bother to get the person who was supposed to do my hair.

Deb is the only person in South Florida I will go to for my hair. She makes the whole process enjoyable and even explains what she is doing to your hair as she goes. I always leave with healthier hair than when I came as well as high lights and blow drys that are always on point!

I have now gone to this salon twice and both times saw Deborah. She is fantastic. I wanted to do something completely different with my color and she was honest about what we could do and I loved it. My haircut was amazing...one of the best hair cuts I have ever had. Then I saw her again in a sort of hair emergency where I attempted to do my own roots and it came out looking uneven. I called and she saw me that day and fixed it, and I love what she did. As for thr Salon, it is a really nice place with helpful staff. The last 2 times I went we basically had our own room so it was really private. I am sure they only hire top-notch sylists and Deborah and this salon is my new home for hair color and cuts. I know they specialize in many things. If its a good cut and color you want Deborah is your girl.

I had a horrible experience here as a first time client! First off they dont have a receptionist so dont even try to call the salon (I just needed to know where I can park) and be prepared to wait around for when ever your stylist gets around to greet you. Not only did I wait over 30 minutes, my stylist was so rough and completely did not give me what I wanted. Stylist stated I should have been more specific and its our first time together so its not going to be easy. I honestly look forward to getting my hair done, I always have a relaxing time and feel beautiful after Im done. Not here, not only was I in tears because my head hurt so much, I had to sit there and listen to another stylist with his client using the F word almost after every other word. I was even put in the middle of the salons work drama, stylist asking me what other stylist said to me while I was waiting. Long story short I will neverrrrrrrr return to this salon again, and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. Believe me its not worth it to save a few bucks.

Got my hair done tonight by Tameca and it has been an amazing experience from her awesome personality that easily makes you laugh to her impeccable work ethic and skills, if you are thinking about going to this salon you must go in and see her! Shes amazing !Maria

I love my haircut but my color first came out almost neon yellow. She fixed it the next day free of charge. It was also very disorganised and I had to wait over an hour because they were running behind....but the price is right. If you go here, make sure to be very specific. Maybe have a picture of exactly what you want.

Tameca Johnson did a really good job on my fiancé, we have been to a lot of salons in the past. The grove salon was very warm and friendly, they get an A+ for being welcoming to our little dog Chuck as well.

Ive attempted to contact In the Grove to schedule my Groupon over a dozen times in past few weeks, both Tameca Johnson directly and the studio itself. No call back, no text back, and no response to my emails. Sorely disappointed and disgusted with their customer service.
