My friend Jeff told my about this place, I was unsure about it coming from NJ where people cut hair very very well. All I can say is THANK GOD I GAVE ELTON A CHANCE. I now have a barber shop I love to go to , that is clean and up to date, has positive vibes and most importantly has the BEST BARBERS IN SOUTH FLORIDA. See you guys next week!

The stylist who did my hair was name Joyce. She first took forever to come back from out of town. She said she would call me in a week to schedule my appointment. 3 weeks went by and i still never heard from her. So i called and it went to voicemail i leave a message for her to call and she didnt call me until another week later. So i finally get a call from joyce i tell her what i wanted to have done which was box braids. The ones like Tami from love & hip hop had. I showed her a picture of the length of my hair which is down to the back of my neck its long but i wanted the braids a little longer down to the middle of my shoulders. She told me the price is $180 plus i had to buy my own hair and she scheduled my appointment for the following week. I go to my appointment she was still doing another girls hair she made me wait 30 mins to finish the girl hair then another 10 mins for her to clean up. She finally starts my hair it took 4 hours because she said it depends on how she feels if she wanted to be fast or slow it depends on the mood she is in. I told i have an appointment. Once she was done she took $10 off because she started later. It cost $170 Then i go home wake up the next morning my braids started coming loose not staying together the hair started frizzing. I called her and it went straight to voicemail i leave a message and joyce never called me back. I had to put rubber bands at the end to hold it together and she braided my hair uneven none of the braids are the same length. Im originally from chicago where you know people who do a good job on your hair. But living in florida a new state where you dont know anyone you got to start over. My co-workers tell me she over chraged me and i had to buy my own hair that the girl cheated me. Box braids should cost $100 or under not $180. Joyce couldve had a loyal customer who brought other clients to her but she truly messed that up. Joyce works at Degree Unisex Hair Salon she is very unprofessional, lazy, does sloppy work and over charges you, plus she doesnt start on time and never returns your calls. I will never go to that hair salon ever again and i would never recommend anyone to go there THEY SUCK!!!!

Degree Unisex Hair Salon is the first place that gave me a hair cut that I loved in years. Request Eten.
