My mothers last days were spent in this facility and I cant say enough positive things about the staff there. I live out of state, and finding a place for my mother was a challenge from a distance. I had multiple phone calls each day she was there updating me on her situation. The nursing staff was attentive to her needs and to mine. On her last day, the nurse offered the use of her personal cell phone so we could communicate in a tender good bye. Im grateful that Decatur has such a place.

They wait until the last minute to notify family if ins run out. They harass the family because they no longer want your loved one. The nurses can yell and call family names when trying to get information! If you really love your family never go here! My father is a Vietnam veteran and all they want you to turn is your family over to the state they dont care they only want money! Corporate doesnt care but the state, bbb, and the governors office as been contacted and the local news station is being contacted!!!

Worked here for five years very unsafe for any elderly people to live it should not still be in business! Those s residents do not get cared or treated properly!

This place is falling apart, my Mother-in-law was placed here 2weeks ago. The ceiling is leaking above her roommate, bathroom sink faucet is broken, there are flies all over the room and fly strips hanging above beds, room is not cleaned daily and the Odor is horrible. Staff does the best they can with very little resources.

Ive had my Mom here for 2 weeks for rehab (she had a stroke) and we have been really happy!!! Most of the nursing staff go above and beyond!! The therapy is great also!!

This place is the worst place to put your family for short or long term care. The food is horrible. The staff are very rude and are never there to be of an assisted. They do not listen to concerns as to be met. Do not send your family to this place. Horrible experience .

My observations...Supposedly a Five Star Rated facility.Residents wandering every which way, then they fall asleep in place. The laundry is on site but still takes days to be returned to residents (if not lost). Response time to call button runs about 5 to 10 minutes. Probably because every resident needs assistance and they could always use MORE Staff. Some of the CNAs lack sense of urgency. Had dinner in the cafeteria, food was ok. It was taking so long to be served, another person (administration staff?) went and told another staff members.
