Great experience! I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving without an appointment. The lab tech was very personable and made sure I was comfortable due to my anxiety with blood draws. I’m glad I chose this location.

The entire staff are very pleasant but Sasha has great energy! She’s hilarious, quick and she knows what she’s doing! I will always continue to go out of my way to come here for any type of lab work!

I had a lovely experience here. The wait wasnt long and they kept the chairs separated, checking in was fast and easy and they provided hand sanitizer and gloves in three sizes. The nurse who took my blood was very sweet and when I told her I have a history of passing out from blood draws, she handled it extremely well and it was the best blood draw experience Ive ever had.

My experience was very good overall. The new nurse was also very awesome, was happy that she attended me today. The senior nurse was all an awesome lady as well. Plus the social distancing because of the covid was also managed properly. Would definitely recommend if anybody wants to go get their blood work done. Good Job guys. Just hoping that my test results comes normal. lol....

I have been here 3 times within the past 5 months or so and every time it has been quick. I’ve had to get blood drawn each time and to my surprise it was very painless. The staff (minus one employee who works front desk, she was sort of rude and acted as if she didn’t want to be there. I only encountered her once) was very nice and welcoming.

I literally had the best experience with the two ladies there today! I remember Shonda I think and the other lady had braids but this was actually a fun experience getting a drug screen for my new hire position! I recommend them if you want to turn a some what stressful situation into a fun one

I must admit I was a bit hesitant about going after reading some of the reviews. But, my experience was nothing like some of the others. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was called back in 5 minutes. They are practicing social distancing, so the waiting room was not crowded. Yolanda was extremely pleasant and courteous! I have tiny veins that move and she was able to find one with just one stick, without battering or bruising me. Extra points for her!Edit 7/15/2020Went in for repeat lab work. Sasha is great too!

I have had many labs drawn in my life and used multiple Quest offices throughout the nation. I have never felt more welcomed and cared about than by the Decatur team. Efficient, kind, and genuine, the ladies that helped me could not have been better employees and humans. I have even tried to think of other ways to thank them my service was so great. Thank you so much.

After a frustrating experience at a different location, I drove to the 30 minutes to Decatur Quest location. They apologized for my other experience, took me in right away (less than 2 minute wait), and I got my test started right away. Chatice and the rest of the staff were kind and made my experience a pleasant one. I only removed one star because the bathroom was low on toilet paper and paper towels and soap. But the staff were all great. I had a test that took several hours so I had a lot of interactions. For any future testing, this location will be my go-to, the team is knowledgeable, fast, and makes you feel comfortable.

Went to this location for a doctor-ordered blood draw. The wait was minimal (could have been an anomaly) and the staff was extremely polite and professional. Phlebotomist Sasha was a superstar and the blood draw was practically painless. I would definitely come here again.

Great experience. I have a fear of needles and started to black out during my blood being drawn, and my nurse started fanning me with her clipboard and put a wet towel on my neck and was very very comforting and helpful. I didnt get to thank her enough. I was also seen 20 minutes before my appointment because I got there early. Everyone was wearing masks, took my temperature before I entered. Very positive experience. (Minus almost passing out ;D )

I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews, but I chose this location because its close to where I run a lot of my errands. Wait time was actually really good. Maybe its because of social distancing, I only had to wait 5 minutes. It helps that I made an appointment prior to showing up. The lady who took my blood (not sure if I can write her name here) was really good. I can be a bit of a hard stick but she found my veins. Collection took about a 3 minutes and I was out in 2 minutes. All in all, it was a smooth experience. Parking was easy too. I thought I would have to park at the hospital, but the building Quest Diagnostics is at has its own free parking.

In my whole life I have never been somewhere so ghetto and Rachet.... the employees talk to you any kind of way and they talk to other employees any kind of way right in front of patients ...terrible terrrrrrrible location....I will never return to this hot mess again so help me god

Very friendly staff during my experience. I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. I strongly suggest scheduling an appointment.

You will not speak with a representative if you call this location. An automated system will recommend you set an appointment. However, upon arrival you will inevitably be placed in the walk-in queue, regardless of a scheduled appointment. I recommend walking-in at your convenience.The location is difficult to find and automated instructions do not provide information to assist.Staff is abrupt and difficult to hear. Understandably, their volume of customers coupled with the nature of the work yields unhappy employees.There are not many lab centers that provide better service. This is an unfortunate inevitability of pre-employment health screening, lab collection, or other service requiring a lab.The site does allow you to place a phone number and wait outside until called to avoid close contact with other individuals.

I was just wanting to get a wellness screening, but this is not a good place to go if you are healthy and have any alternative. They are very crowded and no social distancing is possible in their lobby. The woman who worked there was not helpful. I got there 10 minutes early for my appointment and was told there would be a 39 minute wait. I left. This place creeped me out.

Extremely disorganized. Called several people in that did not have appointments that came in before us. Text sign up is useless, as they call people by name at the door. You’re told to wait in your car and good luck hearing them. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I took my 90 year old mom to Quest diagnostics a few days ago,and Elaine, Veronica, and the staff were very professional, and were able to get a good blood draw from my mom. Other facilities could not get blood from my mom. They are very experienced and were very kind to both me and my mom, so I would definitely take her there again.

If there is any possibility of finding any other company to test with... DO IT! Im constantly dumbfounded at how incredibly slow, how understaffed, how rude the employees are. There must not be a manager position in the entire Quest lab company. No competent person would ever tolerate this. I went to the midtown location to do a screen on Friday. There were 9 seats in the waiting room. 21 people. I waited for 2 hours there, before being told they couldnt get to me that day. I came to Decatur thinking surely its better out here. Its 2pm so it shouldnt be a busy time. Ive been waiting for 2 hours. I can hear the employees talking, its like they arent even working.

So I came into Quest today and they systems was down. It was a lady at the door and a very tall guy standing in the front window and she told me she couldnt take my blood because she had no idea of the tube to draw. The tall guy took my lab paper told me to hold tight for a second and he came right back and took me in. Drew my blood without a problem. Quick fast and easy!

They definitely do not have the best bedside manner. I have been here twice for different lab tests. However, I will say that they can draw my blood within seconds .. and that is no easy medical feat from my experiences at other facilities. Its definitely nice to just go in and out and not having to worry about being pricked all over. I had no friendliness involved in the process and both times the front desk person snapped or rolled her eyes at my questions. However, at least I got out of there fast which is really what I want.

Quest Diagnostics in Decatur has always proven a reliable and customer service-friendly location to have my labs drawn. An expeditious check-in process and expert phlebotomists have usually made the unpleasant process of blood draws tolerable. Thanks to the staff at Quest Decatur for their great service.

I was a walk in, they called me back very quickly. Normally the stars and moon have to be perfectly aligned in order to draw blood the first time. Keona(sp) tapped it, and got it the first time. Very happy with my experience.

It was a quick visit to Quest Diagnostic. The front gate of the facility is at weird loaction and nothing posted on gate. Dont forget to check in with mini tab at front desk. Wait time was not that long but will recommend to get appointment. You can also have walk in.

When you walk in theres no one in the front just a check in tablet. The tv shows how long before youre seen. The staff was friendly. It was quick and clean.

I am the only person in the waiting room and she calls a strange name. Told her my name and she says thats what i said then showed me where they have the misspelled name on all the documents- and kept insisting that was the name i gave. I am really clear on what my name is. She was really looking to pick an argument so when she couldnt find my records (probably still didnt believe my name) i took the opportunity to flee. Have had good experiences in the past so maybe this was just glitch. Make sure they have your name right or lord knows what theyll do to you.....

Unprofessional after waiting over an hour (with only 2 ppl in the waiting room) my daughter finally was called back. A week later I was called by her doctodoctor to do a repeat test, I asked why. ..They said Quest lost her sample test😡😡😡😡😠😠😠how do u lose URINE SAMPLE AND BLOOD WORK!!!!

Due to negligence in their lab I was sent into a nearly year-long battle with my insurance company for a standard lab work order (which their lab completely screwed up and sent me a massive bill). I hope you never have to experience the hellstorm that came from the errors of Quest Diagnotics. Please take this as a warning not to use this lab.

I went on a weekday around 2 PM to get blood drawn and was in and out within 20 mins. They guy who checked me in and drew my blood was nice. The office was a little messy but overall this place was quick and easy!

Dear phlebotomist,I am currently having trouble typing this due to my blood draw last week. The blood draw itself was fine, it was afterwards when putting the cotton swab bandage on that you pressed down very hard on that area of my arm. There is a nerve in there and many people like me are getting our blood drawn because we have pain issues . Please be more gentle. Thank you.

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! The staff are practically brain dead. I have never gone and been seen at the time of my appointment. I always end up waiting forty five minutes. The staff members are so rude its unbelievable. They act like drawing your blood is a huge inconvenience for them. Honestly theyre awful.

Poor customer service and employees are not well trained and are incapable of handling administrative issues. Their lack of knowledge has caused me to delay getting my blood work done for over two months and staff is unwilling to communicate with corporate/customer service to help solve the issue.

Wow.... staff member named Elaine was really rude and disrespectful. Im blown away how she acted. No one was at the front desk, the check in kiosk wasnt working, when she finally came out she was rude, didnt even acknowledge me or say hello, tersely spoke to me and pointed to the kiosk, when she came back out she was terse and rude again. Finally asked to see someone else because I didnt want her drawing my blood given how rude she was being. Thankfully another tech stepped in and was very kind and professional.

This company drew 4 vials of blood, then lost them along with all paperwork or traces of any order for lab work from my doctor. It took me and staff members from a new doctors office several hours, with runarounds, dropped calls, transfers to non-existent voicemail, and all-around overwhelming incompetence, to finally reach a supervisor, who found me in their system but insisted there was no order for me. Something is SERIOUSLY wrong when a lab loses 4 vials of your blood!

The scan code you receive wont work and the check in machine break down. Welcome to Quest Diagnostics! When I tried to get help since nobody was at the front desk, an employee came out screaming at me. Not a good experience checking in. Very rude but in our medical care system, we dont have many choices for such places, do we?

The place is severely understaffed. Only 2 people working, handling checkins, drug tests, drawing blood, and dealing with insurance. The walk-in wait is in excess of one hour, and long even with appointments (website does not reflect the actual waiting times). Hope they hire more people.
