I was referred to Heartland by my boss. They had taken care of his mother and had nothing but great things to say about the way they cared for his mom and the family. And that is exactly what I experienced when I called them to care for my mother. They care for her at her home where she could be surrounded by family. Hospice care was new to me and my sister. They answered every question we had and were very caring in doing so. When they say you can call 24/7 and theres a nurse on call to assist you, they mean it. I found this agency to be one of reliability, support, integrity, care, compassion and concern not only for the hospice patient, but for the family as well. They go above and beyond to accomodate the needs of your loved one, and to help the family through this difficult time.I highly recommend them!!!

I had the opportunity to witness one of my students grandfather being cared for by Heartland Hospice. The compassion and care that this agency offers is nothing short of amazing. If their services are like being taken care of by family. I have never seen caregivers attend to a patients needs like their nurse did.

Terrible! It takes them forever to bring the supplies my mom needs. It was weeks before we got the starting supplies so had to go buy everything out of pocket. Weve been waiting on oxygen from them for a month....so having to pay out of pocket for that too. The nurse that was assigned to us never calls you back and the ones I can get on the phone wont talk to you and tell you you need to talk to your assigned nurse.
