I will never, ever attend this gym. I have been made aware of their treatment of this woman (see picture) and her service dog, and IT IS NOT OKAY. WHAT DO YOU GUYS HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELVES? There should be no reason why anyone would be denied service for simply trying to better their health, even if that means using the aid of a service dog to do so. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THIS GYM, and please share this story so they will be help responsible!

Can’t ever give business to a company that does not train their employees to follow Federal ADA laws. The gym should be accessible to all people regardless of their disabilities, and/or accommodations for said disability, to include registered medical service-alert dogs.

Cool location makes it feel more like a private gym than your average location. Yes, you will need a membership for access to the gym. If you call ahead they may issue a guest pass for you. It’s just across from Agnes Scott College. Make sure you look for the Snap Fitness sign if your coming down Mcdonough St. because the gym is inside another building. There is a parking deck for parking but if the gate it down just use the call box to gain access.

Very cool setup on the beach! Even nicer that its free to use and the equipment is in good shape.

I just signed up for a membership here and was sold. I was helped by Lana, who was so friendly and I did not feel pressured into signing up for their gym. She was very informative. The facility is clean and comfortable and it has most of the equipment I needed. Great service Lana!

I used to be a member of this gym back at its old location and left for a while because of school. The new gym has a lot more space and the staff are just as great as they were at the old one. I also like that all the parking is in the garage and you can walk right to the gym without having to get wet on rainy days! This is definitely my new go to spot for a nice clean workout and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice non threatening place to workout at!

I’ve had my memebership for a month now and I love it HOWEVER there are kids here that have misused the guest policy of course when the workers have gone home. I love this gym I just can’t get a proper workout in without them yelling at each other while they are standing right next to each other.

This is a great little gym. It has the free weights I need to build muscle and is rarely overpacked. It is clean, well air conditioned, and the parking is safe and convenient.

Great gym. Clean, quiet. Friendly staff. Trainers dont hound you like they do at other gyms (looking at you LA Fitness). All around a nice experience.

I have belonged to a few other gyms over the past 10 years, but this one is my favorite. I have been here for two years and the place is always clean and kept neat. The front desk staff is nice and greet me by my first name (extra points in my book) and they make it a point to make you feel comfortable. It has all the equipment I could ever need, and its open 24/7. I like that its close to downtown Decatur, and its really safe - the colleges security is literally in the same building and you see them monitoring the parking deck.

Snap is great! Basically just necessity but its got pretty much everything you need so just get creative! Its good enough for me!

Fantastic. Gym is always open, always clean, and has everything you need for a great workout. The personal training staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. Overall, a great place to get in shape.

This is a great gym. I dont like huge gyms, they seem a little impersonal to me. This one has all the free weights, machines, and cardio. Its always open and clean.

On the smaller side but rarely a wait for machines or stations. Glenn, William, and Chuck are very friendly and have extensive knowledge in health and fitness no matter what your goals are.

Cancelled my contract about 4 years ago. Got call tonight to pay $180 or i would be turned in to the credit reporting agencies... No prior phonecalls or letters were sent.... not one. Trust me... its so EASY to sign up... just month to month! But... then theyll hit you by surprise 4 years later, youll be dealing with this same issue.UPDATE, the management has refunded the $180, and terminated the collection agency. These guys seem like good people mixed up with a bad vendor.

Ive been a member of this gym for nearly a year now. Its got all of the essentials without all of the crowds. I like that it feels more like a private club, and its open 24-7.

Ive been a member for 6 months now and have been extremely pleasantly surprised with the experience and results. Snap Decatur is one of those no-frills gyms that manages to be greater than the sum of its parts. Its essentially a large room connected to the Agnes Scott College parking garage, but they have just enough equipment to cover the basics and then some. If you want some highly specialized equipment, you may have to go elsewhere, but theyve got an array of cardio equipment, free weights, machines, and floor exercise stuff that will keep most people happily in shape, with a few sought after things - TRX, rings, deadlift pads, etc. Its generally not very crowded except closer to lunch time, even then its pretty managable. The staff is very friendly and approachable, though they are only there a few hours a day. Trainers seem competent and personable, though I havent worked with them directly. There are not a lot of classes, though there are some offered. Again - they do the no-frills/few-frills gym thing surprisingly well. For the money, you get a good amount of bang per buck.

I cancelled my membership. Several months later I realized they were still charging my account. When I asked for a refund, they refused and acted like there was nothing they could do. Absolute crooks.
