Samantha in his billing department is very rude. I called several times and left messages about a bill and she never returned my call. Once I talked to her, she was very rude. I will be looking for a need doctor.

They are very slow and appointments mean nothing! They cant get you in for an apt in a hurry if you are actually sick even if you are an established patient. They have terrible customer service and an unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Worst Dr office in Decatur!

Dr. Hendrix and his staff are great. Hes a doctor that doesnt treat just symptoms, but cares about the core issues and my well-being. He has amazed me with his willingness to spend the time with me I need, and his knowledge. His staff is kind. I wish he had an automated appt. reminder, but if thats the only issues with a physicians office these days, thats exceptional. I cant say enough about how happy I am I found him!

Dr. Hendricks is a professional with a AWESOME bed-side manner. He is younger with a new and youthful outlook, but with old-school practices. A much needed physician in this community.

I ended up walking out after 2 hours without being seen. He might be s good doctor but the staff is horrible

Terrible staff, terrible service and a Doctor who limits how many medical problems you can bring to him at one time. In the history of medicine this is unheard of.If I pay my co pays and happen to have multiple issues (as many humans do) I expect to have them all dealt with in the same visit within reason. Because of his rule I have had problems resulting from not testing the areas I told him about when having pains there.When I approached him about this issue and asked for an explanation he got angry and loudly said I was calling him a liar about what symptoms I had asked for help with and that he would not deal with my attitude.This is the same man who refused for almost two years to get me an MRI after a car accident that left me with multiple bulging discs amongst other spinal issues.I suffered debilitating pain for over a year and a half before he ordered one and his hesitance was based on the low levels of radiation received when getting an MRI.I should mention I work for a fortune 500 company and am nothing but professional with everyone in my life and would certainly never mistreat anyone or have an attitude, especially towards my Physicians.I just want to get myself back to healthy and have been prevented from doing so by not having the correct testing done because of his rules and practices. After this interaction he left the exam room and he chose to ignore me when I tried to calmly explain to him how unprofessional it was that he would deal with a patient and a genuine complaint in this manner. He would not respond to me or make eye contact and after he sat behind the nurses station and began angrily banging keyboard keys I felt walking away was the best resolution at that point.I could tell he obviously does not take any type of criticism (constructive or otherwise) well.I will also mention in the two and half years as my primary care physician he has never given me a physical examination even though Ive requested it on multiple occasions.There are several nurses including one of the main nurses names Kelly that have engaged in talks of how much they enjoy marijuana, including how difficult it is to find good edibles in Decatur and how they are very pro marijuana etc.I was stunned staff members would be talking openly about something thats illegal in AL let alone taking a personal stance on it. I assume he does not drug test his employees.I cannot recommend him or his practice and would look elsewhere online for others with experiences similar to mine.I have heard other nightmare stories throughout Decatur including some from folks who have had family members die in his care due to his lack of attention to their medical issues.I now refer to him as Dr Diapers because to me he acted like a big baby in a moment I was simply asking a question that was meant to help him and his staff try not to treat someone else the way I was treated moving forward.I hope someone finds this helpful!

Dr. Malcolm is a great doctor but his staff is terrible they keep running off patients with their unnecessary rudeness they dont care if you live or Die.Carolyn

Office staff is the reason Im no longer a patient here, although I loved Dr. Malcolm Hendricks.

The staff is very rude and the office manager is the worst.
