Dr. Tartt is who my husband and I use as our pre-marital and now post-marital counselor. Married October 10, 2020. He’s very good at not taking a person’s side and showing bias. Sometimes he gives me the business. Sometimes he gives my husband the business. He is straight to the point. At times he uses the Socratic method and allows us to come to our own conclusion. The biggest thing we have learned is how to turn “commands” which aren’t well received into “wishes” which are well received. We have set an excellent foundation for being great at marriage with Dr. Tartt’s guidance.I am a physician myself, I’m a family medicine Doctor. So my observation and grading is a bit more in depth as I have professional perspective and personal skin in the game. Dr. Tartt is really busy, if you’re blessed to gain access to his practice. Had the pleasure of attending a marriage retreat given by ELIZABETH BAPTIST CHURCH and Dr. Tartt and his wife were amazing!!! Even after 18 years of marriage my wife and I were taught alot!! This entire weekend at the Avalon was well worth it! We strongly recommend him and prayerfully Dr. Tartt will be able to counsel one of our couples events soon!!

Extremely Rude and Unprofessional! My husband had to cancel an appointment because of a work conflict. Tartt called him back and saidA lot of kids need this appointment. Find yourself another doctor! And Proceeded to Hang up the phone in his face!! What?! Im still in shock! Hes supposed to be teaching children how to handle life issues?! Not Mine!!!!!
