Nice place, my wife was looking for some kind of spice.. found it there . They have various kinds of products from Tea, spices, coffee, peanuts and etc. Too bad though.. they stop stocking Twining wild berries tea. I checked few times and they didnt have it. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

If they dont have what you are looking for....you not looking good enough. Great prices and selection and friendly staff. No complaints

This is hands down the best bulk foods store around. Such a variety of options. I love being able to bring my own clean jars to fill in order to reduce my family’s plastic waste. Their spice section is vast. They have a lot of vegetarian options (TVP, and nutritional yeast). Service is always great, and fast compared to other stores when taring my jars/ringing up what I’ve selected.

This is my go to place for my seasonings. Its great place to get a small amount of things you need. I like the large selection of candies there but I dare not get any candy that is not wrapped because I was there a couple weeks ago and saw a man who was getting Orange Slices out the bin with his nasty naked hands . What made me look is I heard something dropping and I turned around and saw orange slices on the floor and there this man was in the bin with his bare hand and NOT THE SCOOPER thats provided for you. So I got like 4 steps in from of him and was able to take pictures of him doing this without him giving zero cares about stopping! I dont eat Orange Slices and never will from this place! I started to tell somebody who works there but then I left it alone because Im sure this guy comes in there on a regular basis and does this. Yall its the orange slices located in the back of the store. Ask them to get you fresh ones if you are buying them. I will post the picture to show you. If this is your people explain to him its nasty to use your bare hands in a bin of unwrapped candy that he doesnt own! Perhaps he doesnt know that he is not suppose to do that! 🤔I pray to God he hasnt been over in the seasoning bins 😶. In the picture with the man in it, blow it up youll see the scooper still in the bin while hes digging candy out with his hands. I started to video tape this nonsense!

5 Stars. Besides the store being clean, and Covid aware, staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a decent selection of sugar-free candy and intend to expand soon.

This is my favorite store! Always bring our own containers and the cashiers are very accommodating of this. There is always something new and exciting every time we visit. This is great place for anyone trying to be eco-conscious since you can always bring your own containers and fill them.

I have been going to this store most of my life. The spice and seasoning section is fantastic! I just recently found out that they make the most delicious milkshakes!!!! Sooooooo AMAZING!

I love this place. Great selection of all bulk foods. I go mostly for nutritional yeast for salads and wheat types for breads but the kids like the candy selection and my wife is always happy when I bring her a big pickle ;)

I loved all of the amazing choices of candy .Candy from when I was a child to modern candy they had it. Perfectly separated and displayed with the prices on each container. Their prices were similar to I paid as a kid.This store made me feel like a kid again and would recommend it to everyone.

I never been there before but I was passing by , stopped in. It is an interesting store in an old fashion sense , they even have chocolate fudge that I used to get upnorth.

A lot of the food is stale/rancid. Ive found bugs and cobwebs in multiple items. the worst part of it all is the rude cashiers. slamming our food on the scale, giving attitude, and not giving receipts. I usually spend like $40 every time I go here but I wont be coming here anymore. YOU JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER.

Best bulk food place in the area. Good prices on nuts and sesame chips. And where else can you buy Sanders candy by the piece?Very nice selection of tea too. And you can grind your own nut butters too.Recently added smoothies. I am not sure that they are worth the calories, but I drank my orange anyway. Delicious.

They used to be the best now when u get candy from a bin it tastes like other candy like they switched bins and didnt clean them this has happened for the last 3 times I been there getting pop candy

I used to come here all the time when I was a kid, Im an adult now and one of my greatest childhood memories was this store and how happy it truly made me. Good work!!!

Everything for your emergency spice needs

I enjoy visiting this store. My childhood comes back to me when I look over all of the candy selections. A small amount of money goes a long way. I also enjoy the fact that they have in addition to candy; wheat germ, oat bran, chia seeds as well as rice flour and a selection of coffee and teas. Just a fun time and worth the trip.

I freaking love this store. Kid in a candy shop takes a literal interpretation when I walk in. They have everything old and new. From candy cigarettes to make your own peanut butter. Its like being a kid again....things you cant really find in most places anymore.

I walked inside and smelled the wonderful smell of candy. It was nicely decorated for Easter. They have a wide variety of candy, spices and so much more. I bought a jar of blueberry jam and apple butter and it is so good. Definitely worth the purchase. The people there are all friendly and outgoing also which makes the experience even better. You can tell they care about this store and enjoy there job. My whole experience was wonderful and I will definitely be returning.

Bulk Foods in Dearborn is a great place to shop for teas, candy, dried fruits, nuts, spices, and fresh almond and peanut butter among a variety of other items. The friendly staff are constantly refilling the bins, and thus the product is always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this location! Lots of candy, baking, and unique choices. Some items here arent cheaper than buying regular at the store so just be on the look out. But I love it, great place.

Great candy store, they have a wide variety to select from. Not just candy either. Well worth a look at, you never know what you might find in the bulk vats. They really need to sell gift cards or gift certificates, so please tell the friendly cashiers that and maybe someday theyll have gift cards for sale.

Great selection of bulk food, ranging from the basics (flour, salt, etc.), to a wide variety of candies. Ingredients of almost everything are posted, or available upon request. The spices and teas are fine quality, everything is kept fresh, and the whole store is very clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a coffee grinder, a peanut butter machine, and a scale available for customers use.

Kassem went way above to help me out on a large order of gumballs for a party. He was very professional, reasonable and polite. The gumballs were fresh, bright, undamaged and flavorful. I have another party coming up and I will be contacting him.

Love being able to buy just the amount of spices I need. The selection is also quite large. The candy is a hit or miss. Sometimes it is fresh, other times the gummy candy is more on the hard side. This is my go to place for spices though.

Just love this place for their large selection of grains, spices, nuts, and candies (lots and lots of candies!) Prices are competitive and the items are good quality with organic options available. Go there for groceries, or better yet go there to indulge in candy. As Willy Wonka has said A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

I go there for one thing that they have. This last time I had purchased the last of it. I asked about ordering more and I was told Thursday, two days away. However, the last few times I went the stock kept getting lower and lower and never showed signs of restocking. I also noticed that the bulk food store in Garden City is lower priced on some items. Four stars because they have what I want, they have a wide selection of things, and have a clean store. Three stars because prices are higher.

Worst customer service EVER!!! Girl working was SO RUDE!! 11/11/15 @ 3:28 PM..It was my first time there, so I put the bin number on the bags. She very rudely said For future reference you need to put the price on the tag not the bin number! She proceeded to grab her book, slam it on the counter flip through the pages with an attitude huffing under her breath. I told her to forget it. She was RUDE and I was not buying anything from her. I walked out and she came into the hall way yelling, Never come back in here as gain!WOW!!This unprofessional girl needs to be sent to the employment line. Maybe shed be more respectful of the people that keep her employer in business. SMDH!

Ive been going to this store off and on for several years and all of the employees Ive encountered have been very nice and very helpful. I usually only go when Im giving my grandkids a birthday party or if I need a special flavoring for something Im making. Ive got too much of a sweet tooth to go there for anything except special occasions.

Used to be a good place. Somewhere along the line- it ended up under different mgmt and then things just went downhill from there. Stale candy for one thing. Try getting just several pieces of candy to sample & the mgr comes running out accusing you of being a thief, saying if you come in his store again that hell have you arrested for trespassing. Of course he dont want you to sample the candy, because its STALE. Hes an Arabic Chaldean- definitely not a Muslim. Suffice it to say that Ill never set foot in that store again. Its plenty other candy stores in the area where the prices are much more reasonable &the candy is better quality. Also- the staff are more courteous & friendly.

A tattooed dark haired pierced employee gave a remark You know you can only sample one that was said right when I was trying my first sample. I was buying Christmas gifts and had stuff worth $60 at least. I left them walked away, the employee rudely greets me out by saying thank you for trying free samples. This is going to be reported to BBB and I will make sure to post it on Yelp too.

Great selection of healthy stuff for such an unassuming place. Not all bulk food joints will carry items such as spirulina, moringa, matcha, coarse Himalayan pink sea salt, a wide variety of teas (bagged), ethnic spice blends, etc. And of course the typical grains, legumes, nuts, dried fruits... plus plenty for baking and prepared sweets. They ought to change their description from a mere candy store to something like bulk food store extraordinaire. Try here before Whole Foods and save a whole lot of money.
