OK so my massage was good. It was great pressure she really did a good job but she did not listen to me. I specified that my feet were bothering me the most and I even upgraded with a foot scrub. She spent the least amount of time on my feet and I was super let down. When I was done they tried to sell me on a massage package monthly to keep up my relaxation. I had never been to massage envy before so I did not know what to expect that’s on me. I am not looking for a massage subscription, I wanted to relax and after my mostly good massage I came out to a sales pitch. That was not very relaxing for me. Everyone was nice, friendly, and professional. The place was extremely clean, welcoming, and bright. Because of the sales atmosphere I will not be back.

Ive had a membership at this location for several months now -- I had the same therapist for awhile and when she left for a new position, I tried a massage with Mandy. I just had my second massage with her last night and I hope she stays with Massage Envy for a long time! She is THE BEST massage therapist Ive had in the Quad Cities. She really takes the time to listen to what you need and focuses on your exact areas of tension, including ones you didnt even know you had. No cookie cutter massages with her! The front desk receptionists are also incredibly knowledgeable about the enhancements and recommended the perfect add-on to help me finally kick some leftover migraine pain. Thanks for so many months of relaxation!

Tried the high frequency enhancement added onto my facial and wow it was a super cool experience and saw results pretty fast as well was recommended the acne face bar, my skin has been not the best since covid started but ever since I bought it and had my facial it will definitely be a must have!!! Phoenix and Emily are very very knowledgeable. Staff also is very professional!

Has a positive covid-19 case and instead of directly informing everyone effectively with priority, instead they casually sent a email to the workers instead of directly contacting them and informing them exposing possible workers and customers. Then after the fact has required no workers to be tested after they were in direct contact with the positive tested individual. Poor concern for employees and customers all around. If someone was genuinely concerned for others health and safety they would have the employees tested and cease operations like capri college did on their initial confirmed case

Don’t buy a gift card! They doubled my price for massage after the first one. My husband got me a gift card for 2 massages but after the first one they moved my price from (as advertised) $60 to $110-$120 for a “60 minute massage” but you only get 50 minutes hands on. This is way More than anywhere else. The massage was alright but not that much pressure. I got a facial with the rest of the gift card and it was essentially a face wash with a mask. Only had maybe 40 minutes, but it’s advertised as “60 minutes.”

Ive been getting massages for years and was honestly a little apprehensive about a franchise-like establishment. Well... by the time I left, I was extremely happy with the massage and had made another appointment for an enhanced 90 minute in a couple more days! I travel the country for work and Massage Envy has flexible hours, lots of locations, and seemed to be able to schedule appointments quickly. Works for me.Thanks!

THE MOST BASIC massage out there. I tried the membership out just because it seemed like a good deal. I tried them out 3 different times and EVERY TIME I went in for a massage it was just okay and not relaxing whatsoever. The first time I went in the masseuse talked the entire time and I couldn’t even enjoy the massage. After that I felt like a b**** but I requested NO TALKING during the next massage- however when I went in for it- she talked the entire time as well... asking questions and engaging. I understand it can be a boring job but I was paying pretty decent amount of money plus a tip for a massage and felt I couldn’t fully relax becuse I had to answer her questions. Never have I ever received a massage where this happens. Not going back, tried three times and never got any better.

After an outbreak of covid cases, staff who desired a pay increase were told the business is struggling so bad the boss cant afford to give raises. That same boss owns three houses.

We did an hour and a half massage. When he booked the appointment he told them we wanted two therapists with losts of pressure. My husbands was great but I had to ask 3 times to get more pressure. Still felt like someone petting you more than a massage. When we came out the lady at the desk asked me how it went and I explained to her that it was disappointing. Sheapologized and said a manager would be getting a hold of me right away. That was four days ago. I also filled out an online survey and asked someone to call me and they havent. Knowing the issue they still asked if Id like to leave a gratuity.

On a Sunday... When no other shops are open 48 hours before my appointment they cancel. Not professional at all. Very disappointed as I took the day off to get a massage and due to the last min cancelation.. I won’t be able to get in anywhere else....

I absolutely love this Massage Envy location! The front desk staff is exceptional. They are always friendly and very professional. Ive been coming here 1-2 times per month for over a year, and Ive never had a bad experience. Highly recommend this location.

Great place to come and get skin care or massage. They have the option to be a member and you pay a monthly fee this gets you 1 free 60 minute massage and discounts on other massages you get that month. Not sure if you get discounts on products with this membership or not. The staff here is amazing, very friendly and professional. They have plenty of massage therapists, so you can find the one that is best for you or just go to whoever if you are not picky. I for one go to a certain therapist because of all my pains from my injuries. The therapist always communicate with you during the massage to make sure they are doing the best for you. They always check the pressure and make sure to hit the spots you need worked on the most.

I reached out to massage envy after a year of inconsistency at my previous provider. Not only did Tiffany listen to my needs and concerns, she focused on the areas of pain and stress for the whole 50 minutes. After three long months of pain and tightness, she was able to provide some much needed relief. The front office staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable as well. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

My husband got me a massage for just something special after having our daughter. And they were great! Very friendly and helpful if you havent had one before to help make sure you get the massage that will help with pain or discomfort that you are having. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who ask me.

Therapists and front desk staff are fast, friendly and listen. The massages are wonderful and range from relaxing, to deep tissue, to specific/customized and the new stretching is amazing. The facials are relaxing and targeted to my problematic areas. LOVE this place!

Allison managed to get us in same-day at a time that worked for our schedule. The 60 minute full body massage was very relaxing and did wonders for the pain in my shoulder/neck. This was my first professional massage, and I think Im hooked now. Perhaps Ill try the hot stone massage next time.

My boyfriend and I did the couples massage in Sept. 2018. Arrived early to fill out the massage preferences on their tablets. Although the staff was very friendly and the place was clean, the atmosphere felt rushed. Our hour long massage was cut in total of 10 minutes! 5 minutes in the beginning to get undressed to your comfort and 5 minutes at the end to get dressed again. So, our massage was really only 50 minutes... For the price of the massages, no minutes should be cut short. Overall, we felt rushed to get in and out, was not a good experience for when you are supposed to be relaxed and stress free.

Scheduling is easy and Massage Envy is great about updating me when there are changes or delays. The staff at the Davenport outlet are sweet, caring and competent. Ive been a member for about a year now, I think, and I love it! The only thing I wish is that we had a texting option for appointment updates and confirmations.

They couldnt or wouldnt schedule two massages at the same time, and were rude about it. When I asked for the manager John, the only name he would give me said the girl was not rude because he had been there when the first call was made. I asked for his last name, he refused, saying Honey, do your homework, Im not giving you my last name. I promised him I would let others know how he treated people and he said he retorted, quite rudely, Well Ill let people know about you!. With only 3 1/2 stars on YELP, there are plenty of better massage therapists who know how to treat customers.

Booked an appointment for 2 people. Showed up early. After my friend went back for her massage I was told I would not be able to get one due to the therapist leaving for an emergency. So I had to wait for my friend to get done. I received a gift card but as this is my first impression I’m very turned off by it.

I was dissapointed in the massage I received today. I was so excited for a nice Relaxing 90min massage. However, that was not the case. The music was loud, the massage itself was painful, and the overall environment was far from relaxing. I heard many great things about this place, but I doubt I will go back.

After being bombarded by an aggressive ad campaign, I finally tried a massage from Massage Envy. I was put off by the attempt to make customers feel as they are in for a doctors visit and having to fill out paperwork. There were multiple From one to ten, how high is your stress questions - not just on paper, but then an employee sits down with you and interrogates you. I dont know what you can do for me by throwing out a random number about stress and really, its none of your business how often I work out or what I do to cause stress. Listen, Im just here for a massage, not a physical!The office is nice, quiet and professional, that was a plus. My therapist was experienced and good, but after I specifically told her I do not like poking or pressure points, she did it anyway. When time for my favorite part - the glute massage - she rubbed me through the sheet. When I commented, she said thats what she prefers. Sorry, but I like hands-on-skin massage.She said she massages with her forearms and while that was great for my back, I didnt expect a forearm massage on my feet. WTF? Who massages feet using their forearms? Despite these minor issues, the massage was great.When it was time to pay and leave, I was given a sales pitch to sign up for their monthly massage club membership And if you sign up NOW youll only pay blah blah blah. I politely said No Thank You and the girl kept going as if I had interrupted her sentence. Seriously, no thank you, with a smile. And the girl kept going. Now I am really annoyed. You asked me about my stress levels earlier? Now its at TEN. If she were a telemarketer, I would have hung up. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. I WAS relaxed, but now I am pissed off. It was a bad ending to a good massage and pretty much guaranteed I will not be back. Im going back to Bettendorf Massage. Thats what I get for trying someplace new.

I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage, and my therapist Jessica just nailed it. She questioned me prior to beginning about sore/tender areas, areas I would like special emphasis on, recent injuries, etc. I was able to tell her during the massage where more or less pressure was needed, and she obliged promply and perfectly.The atmosphere was very soothing and conducive to relaxing, and the oils and lorions were not overpowered. Getting the appointment date and time was simple, and the staff were all very accomodating, professional and friendly. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent place and wonderful customer service. Granted they are a corporated business they try to push the upsale alittle much but are very knowlegeable and present a very professional atmosphere unlike most common massage places. I only didnt give them one star because i personally dont like the upsale part about it.
