I didnt know what to expect going with a franchise dentist office. I was extremely happy. The efficiency of the visit was excellent. They keep things moving without making you feel rushed. The equipment being used was cutting edge technology. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was what I would consider the gold standard.The visit far exceeded any previous experience I had with the few private dentist offices I had been to in years past.

Today I went in for an adjustment due to excessive gagging. I knew dentures would be an uphill battle due to a sensitive gag reflex, but with no other option I started the process. I had a conversation with Lexi explaining my issues and answering her questions to clarify just what the problems were. She relayed my requests and concerns to the labtech Shawna who then made the changes for me. When I was brought a horseshoe upper I was elated. I had read that there is a severe loss of suction with this style denture, but it is holding well. For the first time since getting the final product I could speak more than a few words without gagging. In fact I made it almost all the way back home before I did gag. I still have a long way to go in order to be where I want to be with my new teeth, but I am confident I can get there thanks to the fantastic work of the dedicated staff as this location.

Called and scheduled an appointment. Took the time off work and showed up early as requested. 30 minutes before my appointment I go in only to find out that im in the system and they have all my info but dont have an appointment for me! Say they can get me into the Muscatine office right now. Im in Davenport and they want me in Muscatine! Its a 35 minute drive. Even with the apology I will not recommend. The appointment was set for a reason! Cant afford to take another day off if im not going to be seen. Do NOT recommend

Never would I recommend these people ,im a first time patient and had an appointment at 11am and waited in my car 20 min past the appointment.I told them I couldnt wear a mask and the receptionist new this and said she would come get me when it was time 20 minutes went by and again went inside to inquire about my appointment she said they would not give service to me because of the not wearing a mask I said you made me wait 20 minutes outside to tell me you werent gonna render service because of a mask ,in all honesty people going 10 ft from the counter to a room were they take your mask off doesnt makes sense and they were giving the opportunity to call my physician to confirm I have a breathing problem and they did not ..There kindness is only skin deep from my exspierance.?

Had an appointment for a Friday for an extraction, they rescheduled it for a Monday days in advance, no big deal. Then Thursday they called me and tried to get me to come in right then for the procedure... I kept the Monday appointment. 2 hours before the appointment on Monday they told me the dentist reviewed my X-rays again and decided he didn’t feel comfortable doing the procedure and I’ll have to seek a different place to get the procedure done. Who was feeling comfortable enough to do it last minute on Thursday?!?! They said they would send me an email for a referral but I still haven’t received it. I already pre paid and haven’t received the refund. I had an infection that needed to be cleared up before the extraction, now I’m at risk for the infection coming back by the time I’m able to see another dentist. Also, from the beginning, why is it every time I ask for details on something their computers are down? Maybe with the money they stole from me they can call someone in to have their computer system looked at. Everyone had a bad attitude there except for the woman who did my X-rays. She was kind took her time and talked to me like a human, everyone else rushed me along and made me feel like I was just another task they needed to rush through. When I called the manager, Laura, to discuss my frustration I feel like she was trying to say anything to get me off the phone. She also couldn’t give me an answer about my refund or why they were ready to do the appointment last minute Thursday but not at all now on Monday because the computers were down. Zero stars, would not recommend.

I loved everyone from the reception desk to the hygienist. The only person I didn’t like was the dentist that suggested my care for my first visit. He didn’t explain much to me and didn’t ask what I wanted out of the visit/experience, just kinda said β€œYeah we’re doing this and this, ok.” and popped out of the room. The office manager outlined the treatment to me and was very nice, he explained the prices of things and why very through and even tried to get me down to the lowest possible price for what I needed. The extraction team was amazing as well and made sure I was comfortable and helped keep me calm through the process of removing a painful tooth, which my anxiety appreciated, lol.

Love that they are truly using Covid 19 safety standards! Arrived but had to wait to be let in, had temp checked and offered sanitizer. Seen almost immediately for my fitting, everyone helpful and courteous! Left but about ten minutes later was called back to office for another impression, which made my day as they wanted to make sure my uppers fit the bottom! Its hard not to like a dental office which is so professional that they want to make sure your dentures fit exactly proper! I have appointment on Tuesday for final fitting and I am assured that on Thursday everything will be perfect!

I went in for a check up and cleaning. No cleaning was done. I had to deal with three different dentist for some reason. When we where discussing payment it sounds like they used a loan company which i thought was odd never had to do that before but it wasnt a loan type deal I was signed up for a credit card to make payments. That wasnt made clear at all. I will not be going back as it felt very pushy and rushed also I never did get my cleaning that I originally made an appointment for.

I really appreciated this, as Ive been to providers before who let me think my insurance was covering more than they really were, and am asked to pay several hundred dollars more than I was anticipating after the work is already done.

Making the appointment online was a quick and easy process. I was able to fill out the paperwork before arriving to my appointment. The staff were all nice and friendly. The dentist and hygienist explained everything from what they found from my exam and x-rays, and they were able to recommend treatment options. The billing representative explained the prices of the treatment services and was able to set up my next appointment. I was in and out in less than an hour. One of the best dental experiences I have had in a while.

DO NOT go to Aspen Dental in Davenport.I have had nothing but issues with this place since I moved here, and kept going back because I didnt know where else to go!Today I showed up for an appointment, and was told that I could not be seen! I booked this appointment TWO WEEKS AGO! I had a filling fall out, and a crown break. Both of which are normally considered urgent as far as dental care goes. The soonest opening they had was two weeks out, at 8:45 on a Saturday.I received a few texts saying to call them about my appointment. I did. They said they were calling to remind me of the appointment. I asked if they were sure, because that was odd when I get reminder texts.Today the lady says, we cant do your type of appointment on a Saturday. What the hell??? It hurts to eat!!!! Called today to again try to get a receipt. Still nothing. Logged into my account page on their site. Verified email in their system is correct. Your dental care is fine but REALLY have a hard time with the only ONLINE method of contacting you is via a review. Suggestions: PUT A VALID EMAIL address for your office on your web site. I would not recommend this office. I arrived at my appointment on time and while waiting several other patients came into the office. Evidently, the dental hygienist had called out sick, which is understandable, but the office never called any of the patients scheduled to come in that day for a cleaning. I only over heard this while waiting in the lobby as no one told me directly. Some of these patients had driven from 45 mins to an hour away. Then when it was time for me to get a referral, they simply pulled up the first person on the list, who was not an in-network doctor, and when I asked if there were other options over the phone the receptionist said, Oh no, we dont do that. I asked, So do you guys just give random referrals? And her response was, You need to call people. Thank you. And she hung up on me.

I got there at 7:15 AM in a lot of pain from a bad tooth infection and the staff there showed no concern, after doing the paperwork they gave me and waiting it was now 8:15 AM and I’m ready to start crying from the pain, so I look over to the woman working in the office they are smiling and having a fun conversation so I ask how much longer I’m hurting they all walked away 10 minutes later they finally called my name and the one and only bright spot about that place was my dentist she was so sweet she made the pain go away she was so nice after she told me what I needed to fix. The staff took over and the financial person told me she needed me to pay for my tooth to be pulled the full price and she wanted me to pay for the worst case scenario also before the work was even done.. I walked out and went to another dentist great dentist great staff and they only charged me a fraction of what Aspen wanted so good luck if you go there.

Great first two visits. Dr Hall made me feel comfortable as she drilled away and sang sweet tunes while keeping me laughing. However, when my tooth woke up my bite was off, which we knew might happen. I waited the weekend with an off bite, and woke up to be call in which was great, Not! Dr Her was there and not my Dr Hall. After trying to get my bite even, I was told by Dr Her my bite was off. After looking into the light my thoughts were, NAW Im getting braces. She didnt want to even take and extra 30 seconds to looks at another issue while she had her gloves on. Crazy part is then Dr Her said you need invisaligns and she shaved my one good tooth I had left down.Sad part is, I didnt even get a song sang to me and a sorry!!Where is Dr Hall!!

After X-rays and realizing the tooth needed to be pulled immediately they quickly fit me in and I was in and out of the office in 2 hours pain free for the most part. She explained why she was doing what she was doing and gave me helpful tips for improving my oral health.My only concern is that change dentists often so you can never be sure to get the same person each time you come in. I have been very satisfied so far! Dr. Sass has been very caring and patient and Lea has been very patient through my financial investment. I am going through major oral surgery Wed morning! Denture on bottom partial on top with mandibular tori removal. ! Im nervous but thanks to the staff I feel that I trust them! I was recommended to this company via another patient. When I went to my first appointment of 3 they gave me no details on the process just how I could pay for it with a synchrony card up front. After my 3rd appointment I felt satisfied that I took the best route with a root canal/crown procedure and walked out as a happy customer. A few months later I went to another DDS to have a simple check up and cleaning when he noticed a pocket of infection in my new root canal location. He recommended a root canal through the gums to try and remove the file tip and save the natural tooth (that the ASPEN DENTAL DOCTOR would have been very well aware broke off inside.) due to pure neglect of this company I now have a debt in collections affecting my credit score, not allowing me to purchase a home for my family, a suitable vehicle for the 3 children to get around in and effecting my credit score daily. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS unless you solely don’t care about your personal well being. Their $250,000 a month quota has to be met and that’s all they care about. It’s a great feeling when you allow a professional company to do major work that you were unsure of, just to have them say β€œsorry we can’t do anything about it.” They couldn’t fix the problem, they couldn’t remove the debt, they couldn’t so much as even give me an option to try to and figure the situation out. If you want poor malpractice by a CORPORATE company that $2000 wouldn’t effect one single thing, go here. They will be sure to ruin your life and your smile.

Went a year ago to get dentures and they convinced me to keep my teeth. $6000 to fix everything. I went to every appointment and at the end when all my work was done, I still had 3 cavities and a tooth that should have been removed. I have not heard from them since. No followup calls. No calls for cleanings...nothing. It was like they took my money, did some work and tossed my records in the garbage. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Rude receptionist, dirty exam rooms and hygienist that has no idea what shes doing.

I never write reviews but I dont know where to start so I will start from the beginning. My wife had a 3:45 appointment which she didnt get out of there till 5:00. the exam itself only took maybe 20 minutes.We had to leave so the nurse said the lady ,to set up appointments and dental plans, would call us later. We never received a phone call. The dentist even told us that my wife would need to get medicated mouthwash and toothpaste. We were never prescribed or given any. The Lady never even called ,so I had to call them. The first time I called I gave the message to the secretary, that message was not received by the appointment and dental plan lady so I never got a phone call back. I had to call again a second time and ask them why havent they called me back to set up an appointment to get some procedures done for my wife. Also I had to ask again If we could get the Medicated toothpaste and Mouthwash. I was able to talk the dental plan lady the second time I called them. She said she was going to call back the next day by a certain time to let me know If a certain day would work out or not. She never called, I had to call them for a third time to set up an appointment, and to ask AGAIN about the medicated mouthwash and toothpaste. Its been a long couple weeks going through this process. I think it is absolutely horrible that I am the one who has to make an effort to get treatment, and we never even got the medicated toothpaste and mouthwash which my wife needed. We were willing to pay them to get the treatment my wife needs but they were very bad in getting back in touch with us and I am the one that had to bend over backwards to get in touch with them and get the help my wife needed. Also this dentist office wasnt the cleanest office I have ever been too.I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Tiny office..I told them xrays were already sent over from my sons dentist for his wisdom teeth, but they still took xrays. (Which I am not paying for and is just more radiation that was not necessary!) We saw a dentist instead of the oral surgeon, who I guess is a traveling surgeon and only comes there once a month. Then we waited forever in the waiting room for them to tell me what the pricing was for the surgery. Pricing was way overpriced and she did not give me any breakdown, I had to ask for it but she still did not print it out for me. The dentist said he was going to give my son a prescription for an antibiotic, but I was never given the prescription. After waiting so long for the price, I forgot about the prescription so I left without it. When I remembered the prescription, about a half an hour later, I called them. They put me on hold and I was waiting over 5 minutes on hold. I hung up and called back, they didnt answer just immediately put me on hold. I hung up again and called back when the receptionist answered she was short with me and I told her I didnt get my prescription and she proceeded to tell me I need to come back to their office and get it! I told her no I didnt forget it THEY forgot it and the dentist needs to call it in. She put me back on hold for another 3 minutes and then came back on and said they would call it in. This office may be in my network for my insurance, but I will gladly pay more money to receive good care for my son and a respectful, courteous staff!

Only 2 negatives. #1. Was told my lower denture repair would be complete at or before 3:00 PM, I walked South Park Mall for nearly an hour, and then went back at around 2:45 PM. was told they werent done yet. So I sat there another 50 min. till 3:35 and then I asked the receptionist to check on my lower plate repair. She cam back and said she was sorry, that they normally bring them up front when they are completed, but they didnt! They were actually completed before 3:00 as I was told. So I had to wait and additional 45 min. for nothing!!! Also there ended up being some of the glue or what ever they repaired the plate with still on my dentures, that feels like sandpaper. So now I have to go back and have that removed :(

Been there three times. 1st visit: waited almost an hour just for initial check up. The hygienist didnt even use a face mask while hovering 4 inches from my mouth. 2nd visit: the hygienist was watching the tv while working tools in my mouth. It was like she was just poking until the 20 minutes were up. 3rd visit: waited another hour for a *scheduled* appointment. Hygienist failed to get a working x-ray and just gave up. In house dentist was too busy to give me the routine check. Im sure there good mixed into the bad, but there are just basic things that every dentistry should do, and they didnt.

I have been going to Aspen Dental for the past year and I am very happy with my Comfy-Lite Dentures as well as the services I have received.Elaine is especially awesome! Every time Im there for an appointment whether for adjustments, cleanings etc. Elaine always greets me with a big smile, is so very nice, and goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable!

I received a couple of fillings here two years ago while visiting my parents. They had to be recently removed by my dentist due to their poor quality (fillings are supposed to last 10 years). My current dentist described it as some of the worst dental work Ive ever seen. The work they did was also painful, despite my insistence that I was not numb. Due to the poor quality of the work, I now am faced with a root canal and crown to fix what they destroyed. I If I could, Id send them the bill for the work Im having done. Dont go here.

I had my first appointment with aspen dental today and they were awesome! They were helpful with financing, the exam and procedure was painless and they were very supportive. Would highly recommend them the staff is wonderful!!!

They have attractive staff but thats about it. was a typical franchise hurry up wait get in.get out get that money. Hygienist found a soft spot that dentist missed... really! They squeezed me which was awesome but cleaning felt lackluster in comparison to previous places. Ill keep looking

The atmosphere was calm, the staff generally concerned for there patients. the dentist who I got to see was a nice man, very calm and knew what he was doing. I am very glad I came to them and will go back again. thank you aspen dental! Ill be seeing u again soon.

I was very happy with my experience at Aspen Dental. I had a chipped tooth on my dentures, and I was able to get them fixed with in 2 hours of my appointment. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with.

Their new Dr is making good on their previous dentist mistake. She screwed up putting the crown on my tooth, exposing the root, she said to put Sensodine toothpaste on it, and that would fix it . Needless to say it didnt. Yesterday they took x-ray which clearly showed her mistake, he is going to fix it at no charge.Thanks Aspen Dental

Staff were very thorough. The new patient exam was free but, I feel the charges for a cleaning were too high for a self pay without insurance. Especially when I can get a cleaning for half the price at different local dentist.

Went in after 6 mos to get my dentures refit and I still love the looks of them and now they fit even better...they do a wonderful job and the staff is still just as friendly and pleasant as my first visit was....Loved how pleasant and friendly the staff were during my first visit..I would recommend others to give them a visit..

Aspen Dental is a great office with great people! The staff is always helpful and very welcoming when you arrive. The doctor is very caring and gentle, along with his hygienists and dental assistents which makes for a great visit! I highly recommend going to this location for dental care.

I was there with the intent of just the routine cleaning. I made it known that I do not have time on weekdays and so I specifically requested a weekend appointment. But then they convinced me to go for a first visit as it is their requirement for new patient. So they let me make β€œthe” first visit (not on weekend) and said they will make the appointment after they see me and check on my teeth. I made it there after work as my β€œfirst” initial appointment. They did all the X-rays (about 12 of them) on my teeth, and then a dentist came and looked at my gums and poked on my teeth, at the end he let me talk to a lady on her office for what they called Treatment Plan. She discussed about few procedures needed based from the initial check that they did and discussed the cost related to each procedure. And so I said by the way, all my intention is just to get a routine cleaning... when is the next available weekend I can come for my routine cleaning and they said, they dont do cleaning on weekends. So I am disappointed bec its a WASTE of my time going there. That was my specific request to get a routine cleaning on Saturday only from the get go before I even accepted the first visit. With that said, my experience? Hah I am not going back there again, ever!

I broke a tooth. I called for a appointment. They frist said it would be two weeks. Then they changed it to this Thursday. I just got a call from from them and I would be January 8 before they would do anything. Not very impressed with there service. I will wouldnt tell anyone to go there.
