I love going here, Carrey was a life saver, she changed my dull color to such a pretty color, and I love it! She is definitely amazing at doing color, she never let me down, and gave me exactly what I explained to her! Not to mention she’s very friendly, courteous, and has good conversation. She definitely makes u feel at home! This is the best salon I ever been to and the prices are just right for the services! This is the only place I will go to for my hair, they are so professional, and the environment is professional too!

Took my daughter here to get a hair do for a dance. She came out looking worse than she came. They had no knowledge/experience working with curly/mixed hair. Horrible experience. She had to redo it herself

The salon is open for selected services. Only seen 1 beautician and 1 working the register they do have masks on and JCPenneys does have a ton of sanitizer everywhere!! Only con is they have a very small supply of anything in the store! Only like 15 bottles total of nail polishes available and other in store stock is extremely limited best to order online for best selection! Staff is very friendly!!

Rip-off pricing not reflective of what is listed on the website. Very much overpriced for a very basic haircut - more than 3x the price listed on website. I did not realize this in advance as I did not set the appointment.Make sure to get a quote in advance as their pricing is deceptive.

Stopped in to see about getting waxed while I was shopping at Northpark. Autumn was available, friendly and did an excellent job! I look great. She really knows how to shape eyebrows perfectly! Price was very reasonable too. Ill be back.

I always come out with beautiful haircuts! I would say makesure you book an appointment with someone whos been there 4 years+ .I have never had a bad haircut here BUT always like my cuts more with a more experienced hair dresser!

I booked an appointment a week in advance. I was going to come in and get my hair cut and colored for a job a started the next day. They called me an hour before my appointment was supposed to start to tell me that they couldnt get me in because the had over booked the stylist. When I asked if there was any time that day that they could get me in and told them what I wanted done, the girl on the phone told me that it was a long process (I am well aware, thats why I booked it for my day off) and that if I wanted that I would have to reschedule for a later date.I get it, scheduling things happen, but I would have liked to have known before that so I could have made an appointment elsewhere. Better yet, I would have liked my appointment honored.I liked this salon, they do a good job, but this... this was extremely unprofessional to me. If it was a problem when I first scheduled then I should have been called immediately, if it was a problem that arose later, after I booked my appointment then I should have been prioritized with my original time.They care only about getting as many people in as possible and making as much money as they can at the expense of customer service.All in all, I am very disappointed and will be going elsewhere to get my hair done.

Ive gone a few times before with different people and Ibe loved them all! They are all very positive and they do a great job. I might even go back today!

The last two times Ive visited this salon for color Ive not left with the look I asked for. Both times I brought in pictures to show the look I wanted to achieve. I should have first asked how many years the stylists had under their belt because after I was in the chair and theyd started I found out theyd been out of school for less than a year. I gave it a shot, twice, and both times I disliked my hair. I recommend asking for a stylist that has more experience or going elsewhere.

I went there a week ago for the first time to get my hair done. My hair was horrifying and I couldnt wait to change it. I got my hair done by one of the employees there who gave excellent service and has an extremely positive attitude. I cant wait to go back!

I see Ashley. Shes about the only person in the QC who understands how to cut my hair. Just because its short and tousled , doesnt mean you just cut it any ol way. PS this is not a recent pic of me or my style. Lol.

My first time going to a salon was a year ago and when I did I came here it wasnt an appointment or anything like that I had an hair emergency and I had gotten my first perm and my hair was already chemically treated from me bleaching my hair blonde about week or two prior to me applying the treatment so when I applied the treatment my hair began to almost disintegrate and fall out I screamed and cried afraid I was going to be completely bald All of my sisters came down stairs and my mom and they are like girl what happened and they even started crying !!! So they are tried their hardest to remove all the relaxer as fast as they could my older sister pulls out a hair stylist business card from jc penny and we head towards north park the whole ride there Im crying afraid the stylist and customers would make fun of me we head up the escalators and towards the salon my sister speaks to a stylist at the front desk tells her my situation and she rushed to get her manager the manager asked if I could take my scarf off so she can see how much damage there was I was in tears so she took me to the restroom and I took my scarf off it seem to even make her cry she told me womans hair is her everything and that she would help me out the best she could so she took me back co washed and removed all the left over relaxer an hair that was coming out I looked like the doll cythia from rugrats but she managed to save enough hair for a hair styleSince Im biracial with more kinky and thicker hair she told me she was going to have a stylist by the name of Royal style my hair an African-American women whom was highly experienced with African-American hair they both took me in a more secure room to get my hair done since I didnt want people starring at me funny royal told me Id have to start off fresh and a mow hawk was my only suggestion but a good one she told me to go buy some extensions and to come right back and I did she then sewed in the extensions in the middle and faded my sides I loved the results it looked gorgeous and edgy I was so happy they helped me, Ive been going natural since and my hair is back long now and I want to go blonde again lol but lets just say Ill have them do my hair professionally No more boxed perms nor boxed hair color.

Carrie and her staff are the best
