After a gynecologist referral from a very good GP almost five years ago, I was happy to see the service level of this office and staff was just as I remembered when I needed to return. Dr. Frieden’s direct yet personalized approach insures you understand your situation and next steps and you know you are in the best of care when he says he will call you personally with your results and treatment plan. I made sure to arrive a few minutes early for paperwork and the office staff took care of my procedure and insurance paperwork thoughtfully and efficiently - even insuring any past credits were applied. The office is also convenient to access via a parking garage.

Amazing doctor and staff! This delivery with my second baby with him was an amazing experience! I would totally recommend anybody to him, will definitely be having another baby and hopefully he is still working so he can deliver my third child!

Dr. Frieden is a wonderful caring and knowledgeable doctor. Hes not a traditional text book doctor, but a doctor with wisdom from his years of experience which brings comfort to the decisions he makes. He also makes you understand every step of your pregnancy needed before you ask the question. You may not even know what to ask so he explains anyway. He delivered my first child now Im back 7.5yrs later for the second birth. He has a great network of referral doctors and his staff are very nice and relatable.

Dr Frieden has been my doctor for 13 years. I have always been extremely pleased with him and his staff. I love the fact that he don’t over book his appointments, therefore you don’t have to wait. His office is clean, and he is very knowledgeable.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Frieden and his staff. I can not say enough great things about them.He was my Ob during my high risk pregnancy and he took such phenomenal care of me. He truly cares for you and makes sure to address every concern I had and explains everything thoroughly and easily. Since I moved, I still continue my care with him even though I have to drive over an hour to see him, worth it!! If you need a referral to another doctor he always seems to have the perfect one.I have never had any issues with medication refills, lab results, great appointment availability and timely call backs. Being in the medical field for over 10 years I can say from a professional and personal standpoint he is a 10 out of 10 rating.

When Concerns arised a bout my daughter and the condition I was in. He never gave me a clear answer on my diagnosis which ended in my baby being still born.Apparently I suffered from preeclampsia... I felt he did the bare minimum in my case. God has the final say but he couldve done more for my babygirl.

I was lost in the hospital and Dr. Friedan called me to walk me through the maze and met me in the hallway to guide me to his office. The office staff was SO sweet and friendly. He was very patient, polite, answered all my questions and was very concerned with my comfort during the entire procedure. He and his nurses were very kind and held their attention on me the entire time. It was the best experience Ive ever had a gynecologists office.

My first appointment with Dr. Frieden was amazing! This being my first pregnancy, he was very patient and answered every question I had and even helped with my Medicaid plan. The nurse was also very kind and could tell I was nervous so she was cracking jokes, which made me feel so much more at home there! I can’t thank them enough! 🤗💞

Dr Frieden delivered my first-born child at Medical City. Being a medical professional myself, I am confident recommending him to everyone. I did not know him before I selected him as my OB. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and scientific in all his approach. He is also kind and has an excellent bedside manner. Even though I went into labor a week early, he came in the early morning hours to perform a Cesarean. He made the whole experience wonderful!

Absolutely love how sweet Marissa and the other girls are when I go in for my appointment or even over the phone ! Marissa makes me feel so comfortable. I honestly dread doctor visits, but this is my first pregnancy and I feel so relieved that I’m not feeling overwhelmed.

You meet with Dr. Frieden at every appointment (no meeting with nurse practitioners early in pregnancy like at other large practices) and he personally performs all tests and ultrasounds throughout (no ultrasound technicians)! Dr. Frieden is the best. I send everyone to him. He took me on as a repeat c-section 7 months pregnant. My delivery was 180 from my first one. He was attentive, doting, confident, compassionate and quick on his feet. He’s very professional and extremely smart and my prenatal care was flawless. His nurse Marisa is amazing and the way he runs his front end is like a well oiled machine. He has his hands in everything with impeccable detail orientation so there’s minimal error. He’s caring and has wonderful bedside manner. Best of the best! Dallas is lucky to have him. My only complaint is that his on-call doctors aren’t nearly his caliber but that’s more of a testament to him and how hard it is to find care like Dr. Frieden’s.

Dr. Frieden is one of a kind, very understanding and genuine. I drive over an hour just to see him and he was the provider for 2 of my 3 pregnancies. Very easy to talk to and just all around a good doctor, Oh and Marisa....... absolutely LOVELY! She makes every experience a great one. They really do embrace you like family 5+stars from me for sure.

Ive lived in Texas for 14 years. NEVER have I had the experience that I did at Dr. Friedens office. From the moment I called, Marissa was absolutely exceptional! This office staff should be used as a model for how to treat patients, how to quickly return calls, how to answer questions, and display the best bedside manner possible. Other doctors have often be rude, rushed me through the appointment, and never cared about my thoughts or opinions. Dr. Frieden truly is unlike anyone that Ive ever seen. He is so warm, has a great sense of humor, refuses to let you leave without feeling like all of your questions have been answered, hes so professional, polite, 100% all about patient safety, and most importantly... he cares that your happy! I live 45 minuets away, and would never even consider seeing anyone else. If youre looking for an out of this world OBGYN, then theres nowhere better than Dr. Friedens office.

Pros:-Very hands on doctor. For example: He’s very timely when returning phone calls. He will answer phone calls himself (I’ve worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade and this is basically unheard of).-He knows understands insurance.-He seems to keep on top of everything and knows what’s going on when you come for your visits.- Nice guy.Cons:I only have one con but it’s MAJOR.-This guy is C Section happy. If you are an agreeable person by nature, this guy will run you over.Dr. Frieden was great until my 30 week appointment. I had an ultrasound that day and he made a HUGE deal out of my baby being breech. AT 30 WEEKS!!! I told him that I didn’t want to make any decisions about a c-section until the day of delivery because my last baby turned several times before birth. He agreed. I was a little taken back by that incident but continued to see him. Several more appointments went by and every time the baby was in a breech position he’d push the c-section (even though the baby turned several times), but would back off when I said I wanted to wait until delivery. Then my 36 week appointment came and baby was breech again. Dr. Frieden said I HAD to sign c-section paperwork THAT DAY. I was not given any choice in the matter. He said he knew it’s not what I wanted and that he was sorry, but that’s just how it had to be because even if the baby did turn before delivery I wouldn’t have time to dilate and that would also require a c-section. I knew this was bogus because I was only 0.5 cm dilated on delivery day with my 1st baby and delivery went just fine. What happened to waiting until delivery??? I left the office without signing any paperwork, cried all the way home and spent several days with my anxiety levels through the roof because I had to find a new OB at 37 WEEKS which is extremely difficult. Luckily I found a new OB that took pity on me and during my first appointment I had an ultrasound. Baby was NOT breech and never turned again. I had a perfectly normal delivery, no c-section, no complications. I was flaming mad that Dr. Frieden put me through so much stress over NOTHING! Once he found out that I switched doctors Dr. Frieden had the nerve to call me and tell me that he was happy that I found a new doctor and that baby was no longer breech but that the baby would probably still turn, resulting in a c-section. What. Tha. HECK!?!? I’m not even his patient at this point and he’s still scaring me about c-sections!!! Had this been my first baby I guarantee you I would have ended up with a c-section because I would have trusted him thinking he knew best just because he’s a doctor. Trust your instincts.

Dr. Frieden took me in at 32 weeks after some horrible experiences. He has picked amazing staff. Coming back two years later with my second pregnancy most of his staff are the same. That speaks volumes. They remembered me and asked after my child. There are some REALLY BAD doctors out there. Dr. Frieden is not one of them.

I have always been a bit hesitant to be seen by a male doctor. Dr. Friedman made me feel at ease, listened to me and I didn’t feel rushed. He took care of me and I was so glad that I went to him when I did because all of my needs were met and all my questions were answered. I came home raving about him even! I would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Frieden for several years now as my Obgyn. He helped me get on the right birth control to prevent myself from getting pregnant and once my husband and I were comfortable with starting a family he gave me the thumbs up. I recently gave birth to identical twin girls which was my first pregnancy. I was at high risk which resulted in many visits to his office and he always made me feel at ease. He tells you everything as it is no sugar coating, reality! He delivered my twins in an emergency c-section and stood beside us through our nicu experience. I would choose him over again a million times for every delivery of mine. He is hands down the best. I wouldnt even consider any other Dr. to deliver my future children.

Dr Frieden delivered my second child in Oct 2014, Im pregnant with my third and Im headed back to the ONLY obstetrician I have evvvvvver TRUSTED. Pregnant women, Dr Frieden, may not say what you want to hear at times; however, when I was in the OR for my cesarean section I bawled like a baby to see him because I TRUSTED HIM. I knew I was in the best of hands. He listens, is very intelligent, knowledgeable about most conditions (if not, hell refer you to another trustworthy Doctor) and a contagious smile that goes on for days! Ive never been to an appt with him where he wasnt smiling, even tolerating me lol! Take your time and make an appt with Dr Frieden.
