If you reside in the greater Metroplex area of Dallas, there is only ONE place that you need to go for any neurological condition--Neurology Consultants of Dallas. The staff are kind and welcoming, exceedingly helpful, and very attentive, and the medical professionals are exceptional. Dr. Chambers is phenomenal, and her assistant, Seneca, is wonderful! Dr. Chambers possesses that all too rare quality of truly listening to her patients, and she is not only meticulous in her observations, but she is also extremely empathetic, something that we Parkinsons patients all desire from our doctors. Also, Dr. Chambers is right up to the minute as far as being aware of the most recent and most relevant medications, and her neurological knowledge is vast. If I could give Dr. Chambers 100 gold stars, I would! If you or a loved one has Parkinsons disease, do yourself a tremendous favor and make an appointment as soon as possible with Dr. Chambers--you wont be disappointed!

I have been going here for about a year and I absolutely love how thorough Dr. Chambers is, how she has a plan of action for treatment and overall it’s been a very pleasant experience. The staff is nice, both in the office and down one the first floor in imaging and rehab as I’ve had a couple MRIs done and have had a few physical therapy appointments there as well. They are all beyond wonderful!

There is nothing more disappointing than an office who cannot take responsibility for their lack of care and communication. They would rather blame the patient than take action to correct their mistakes. My husband started going to this practice about 8 months ago -- had a really great visit with Kelly Caldwell and thought we were on to something really good! Fast forward 6 months his treatment has stopped working and he changed insurance. We notified the office of the insurance change at least 3 weeks prior to the change happening to ensure there would not be a lapse in treatment. He then informed them that the treatment was no longer working. He went round and round ON THE PORTAL (because heaven forbid anyone use a phone anymore!) with the office staff for 4 weeks trying to change therapy / discuss next steps. No one informed him that he needed to schedule an appointment -- instead just offering more excuses. We do not and would not recommend this clinic to anyone.(to the marketing lady -- please do not comment that you want to help....)

If you can handle finding the facility which is hiding under the High-5, you will get 5-star treatment once you get inside. Everyone was very nice and helpful when I checked in. I cant say enough about Dr. Chambers who is phenomenal. She made me feel like there is help for my problem and came up with a plan. Thank you!

Wonderful facility and staff. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. They made everything just soooo easy for us. Appointments were made on the same day so we didn’t have to drive so far twice, The doctor watched the EEG so he would have answers for us at our appointment, an email with instructions was sent before so I had all the info, every staff member in the office was friendly and made sure we were taken care of, Amanda gave my son a bag full of goodies. So sweet and thoughtful. She went above and beyond. So happy to find a great neuro facility

I had likely the worst experience with a physician office that I have ever had. And I’ve had a botched knee surgery! And the worst part is I do not believe they are the least bit concerned. They did not administer a test correctly, did NOT note that they had administered it incorrectly after telling me twice they would, DID admit they made a mistake, but then did nothing to correct the issue including keeping my money and recommending I just take the test again in a few months at my expense again. I had to chase them down with numerous phone calls because they would not return my calls as promised. Eventually spoke with the CEO that seemed initially to be concerned, but then completely fell out of communication. I’ve left three request to provide my medical records to me since November 2020 and as of 2/27/21 they have refused to comply with my requests. I have filed with the Texas Medical Board a complaint. But likely need to address with my insurance too. I would not go to this practice again nor recommend any one else to go there. There has got to be a better provider out there.

I was overall very impressed with everything. From the time I spent waiting for my appointment and the time and care from Dr. Mentreddi and her staff. They explained every single concern and symptom that I have. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues.

Dr. Tran and his professional staff are wonderful, caring providers. Everyone from the telephone receptionist to the billing department made a great impression and convey a sense of patience, calm, and peace, which makes a great difference in healing an agitated neurology patient during these hectic and unpredictable times. The most important and impressive thing for me was the length of time Dr. Elizabeth Chambers took with me to address every single concern and symptom. She referred me to several other specialists and therapists who have also been very much like her in making sure to address all my concerns and then making recommendations for possible treatments rather than just throwing a prescription at me and moving on to the next patient. It was such an enjoyable experience!!!! I’m recommending Dr Chambers for all my friends and clients with movement disorders!

If I could give zero stars I would. Please advise if you have been referred to this clinic.... My mom was sent over in August of 2020 and it took months to get in then trying to get results of her test was like pulling teeth. As her daughter I reached out to Mr. Rathke who was very helpful at the time but here we are again..... She is suppose to see another physician within this practice and by no fault of the doctor she was sick so appointment got cancelled. The left doesnt know what the right is doing!! In my previous life for 2 decades I worked in healthcare and this would have never been acceptable but it is an ongoing issue with Neurology Consultants. Doctors might be great but your staff is what makes you! Marical was less than helpful rescheduling an in person visit by the request of Dr. Tran to see Dr. Young. My mom was told see could come in April so again what is wrong with this picture. My mom asked to speak with the office manager and I know first hand this trick to leave the patient on hold until they get frustrated and hang up (my mom did). My mother originally asked to speak to Mr. Rathke and was told he was no longer there. True or not someone should have taken her call and it takes me finding the COOs email and sending him something to even get the first issue resolved. Please take note if he is no longer there, whomever has stepped in an email will be headed your way. My question to this clinic is would you treat your own parents this way????

I was highly impressed by everyone at Neurology Consultants, their entire staff was kind and professional. Dr. Chan and her NP Toni Smith are a wonderful, caring duo that I would not hesitate to recommend, in fact I already have! Thank you to everyone there!

This review is for the MRI Imaging facility in suite 100 - Hands down the best imaging facility I have been to. I have to get yearly brain MRIs, and Im used to...a certain hospital quality, or lack of quality. This was such a wonderful experience! The technician Lynn (I hope I spelled her name correctly), had such a wonderful compassionate bedside manner that calmed my nerves; the big boy machine made part of my claustrophobia disappear, added with the mirrors that were on the head cage, that help you see yourself and the rest of the room while you are in the machine, help make everything seem big, and not like you are in a machine. Added to the fact that it was faster than the other MRIs Ive had done at other MRI facilities made this experience so wonderful. I will definitely be scheduling my yearly brain MRIs here in the future.

The people were very nice and attentive, but I feel like I still have no diagnosis. POTS or Parkinson’s? I think POTS, and feel they also do, but no confirmation or treatment. Very frustrating.

Horrible experience here.I called 10 times last year to get a hold of Desiree left her 10 messages never called me back the office never answered the phone for Dr Gerhardt.This MayI had stroke symptoms that put me into the ER on May 22 the office told me I couldn’t see him until the next Friday got an email it was a telephone call not in the office so after the holiday I beg to get in and was able to see him that Wednesday the ER gave a wrong diagnosis said I had vertigo and the doctor knew I did not have vertigo so he ordered an MRI of my head an MRI of my neck weeks to get in because they did not get the order from Lupe.Turns out weeks later I found out there was no MRI of the neck because of complication of the surgery I had last year I went to my hand surgeon because I still had numbness on my right hand and right arm he told me that I have a problem with my neck so I went to his pain management doctor I emailed this doctor on 7-16and told him I have severe arthritis in my neck and degenerative disc told him need a cat scan for this. Show up today Waited two hours and turns out this doctor ordered a carotid artery CAT scan not for the problem with the disc and the arthritis.He didn’t pay attention at all about my issues in July I do not recommend this office they charge me a co-pay on May 27 and United Healthcare has no co-pays for specialist from May 11 through September 30 this year I battled with them and they have not return my money. I was on phone Multiple times today because I couldn’t get a hold of someone this doctor emailed and told me I need to go to a pain management doctor he sure doesn’t listen I emailed that went to one on 7-16.Pls don’t go there!

I rated this but the text didn’t show- hopefully it does now! I have been a patient here for over a decade. The office staff is very polite- I’ve noticed how patient they are with the older patients who need assistance checking in or have questions with their forms. For most of the years I’ve been here, I have seen Dr. Hinton. I feel lucky to have found a doctor I want to stick with after all these years! He has a kind demeanor and is always open and honest when answering my questions.

The customer service is horrible. I need a neurologist and they are refusing to treat me because I owe a bill from 2017 that I knew nothing about. I offered to setup payment arrangements so I could get treatment because Im epileptic and need medical care and I was advised that its their policy to settle debts first then treat the patient.

The staff was super friendly and professional. The neurologist working with me - Dr. Chambers - was SUCH a joy to work with. She was friendly, extremely pleasant, professional, and most of all - helped me manage my fears and make what I’m dealing with less opaque and difficult to understand. The entire staff was very welcoming and does a great job of explaining things. They share everything with you on an app - all of their notes on your condition, vitals, etc. Great experience here after experiencing a lot of ambiguity elsewhere.

The staff there is always amazing and Dr. Young is a wonderful Doctor. She truly cares about her patients and their needs. She is the greatest Doctor I have ever met and she goes above and beyond! I am so grateful that I met her! Precious was also very sweet and kind. Her customer service is impeccable! I have already recommended people to this facility and will continue to do so.

Dr. Tseng is an amazing doctor. She is very caring and takes time to really listen to you. In addition, she is a brilliant physician who is current in her field. I always know I am in good hands when I get to my appointment.

We have used Dr. Gerhardt for several years and have had a great experience every time we have gone in to see him. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. Desiree is a true asset to his office. DR. Gerhardt is friendly and takes time to listen to our concerns and offer suggestions and ideas to help.

Dr. Young is the best at making sure I understand what’s going on. She has the best personality. I told her I wasn’t sure if I should see her or my back surgeon or my anesthesiologist for my first follow-up. I loved her response ‘think of me as the coordinator of this orchestra, you should see me first’. She is the best!

Dr. Takesaka is not only knowledgeable, but she also has an excellent “bedside manner” and is just so nice!!! She always takes time to listen to and address all of my concerns. The staff have always been courteous and efficient. I also like being able to check in (fill out the paperwork) online prior to my appointment.

Considering how unpleasant the procedure was, I felt well taken care of. Not an experience I am looking forward to repeat again. On the other hand the diagnostic value justifies the negative experience. I can say that the doctor administering the tests was sympathetic and extremely competent. Thank you! Glad to live in Dallas and benefit from the robust medical we enjoy.

It took me 5 months to get an appointment but OMG was it worth the wait. I finally found a doctor that truly understands what people with migraines go through. If it had not been inappropriate, I would have hugged her! I bet I talked about how great she was for over an hour when I got home. I can not recommend Dr. Young more highly. If you have migraines go see Dr. Young.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hinton for several years and hes always very good at explaining my medical situation after Ive given a review of whats been going on with me. He ordered a CT Scan to be done and then wanted me to see my neurologist based on his findings. Cynthia, his nursing assistant is very likable and makes my appointments without any problem, and calls me back for any questions I have for her or for Dr. Hinton.I am thankful they are in my corner for care.

I had my first visit today with Dr. Tran and Gwen. The staff was terrific and i loved Dr. Tran and Gwen!After many visits and months I have come to enjoy Dr. Tran and his awesome staff. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I drive an hour and a half across two counties because it is worth the drive for the care my husband receives. I heard about NCOD from a friend when a second option was needed. On our first appointment, January 2016, we walked in, explained all the symptoms and the doctor gave a solid diagnosis. He was very thorough, spent two hours with us obtaining extensive history, explaining what the future changes would look like and suggested further care options. I highly recommend the doctors here. The support staff is friendly, understanding and respectful.Don’t copy my path by waiting 2-1/2 years with a doctor who could not provide a correct diagnosis.

I walked in for a follow up appointment and it was chaotic behind the desk. One person in front of me at the window and I was way early, so I just sat down but I could still hear what was being said. After about 10 minutes on the phone, the staff member hung up and jokingly said to the gentleman standing at the window Sorry about that, I guess everyone decided to have a stroke today.I dont need to comment on how wrong that statement is on every level.A doctor is only as good as the office they work in. From getting appointments to getting responses to questions and test results, everything is difficult and takes forever. The common thread in all of this is a complete lack of empathy for patients. Add on top of that a grossly understaffed facility and it makes for a horrible experience and creates a risk to patients.This place seriously needs to rethink its operations and internal culture. Waiting 36 hours just to get a response is unacceptable. A full day to get a response of any kind is standard practice, also unacceptable. Getting test results misplaced and delayed for over a week and then blaming the testing facility is unacceptable. Answering all new appoint calls while letting all existing patient calls go to voice mail is completely backwards, and unacceptable. Having people on your staff that make light of serious conditions is unacceptable.Everyone at Neurology Consultants of Dallas needs to realize that you are dealing with people at the worst times of their lives. They are often times scared, confused and looking for answers. They don’t get to ‘clock out’ and go back to their lives, because whatever they are dealing with is their life.

Dr. Gerhardt is an excellent Neurologist. No wait time on my visit, personnel were friendly, office very neat and clean. Would recommend this doctor to anyone. He is number 1 in my book. Excellent Doctor.

Dr. Pavasia and his nurse practitioner were both very helpful and caring. I.appreciate the time spent to patiently answer our questions. I have never seen a movement disorder specialist that expressed empathy for my condition. The most important thing he said to me, “ We want to help you get your life back!”

Be Very Careful!The office staff are very inefficient and bill you for their mistakes.I was booked an appointment with them saying that they DID take my insurance. I cancelled the appointment and rescheduled. For the rescheduled appointment I was called a day or two before the appointment (an a appointment that had been made for several weeks) and told to bring a $1000.00 or cancel because they DID NOT take my insurance. Now they want me to pay $75 because they say I cancelled 20 hours not 24 before my first appointment. My treatment has been delayed because of their error (causing me to waiting for an appointment that was never going to happen because of insurance). The billing office manager offered to meet me in the middle and charge me only $37.50. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! This practice must be very desperate for money or have no idea what is going on in there office! So unprofessional. Find another practice there are many fish in the sea.VERY UNHAPPY RN WITH TREMORS

When Dr. Duc Tran walks in the room, it is obvious he has studied all information about me that he has received. This included any tests I have taken and information I have submitted. His head is not buried in a computer nor does he appear hurried. He takes time to explain whenever I seem not to understand, including the consequences of different courses of action or therapies. I have had to wait three months for each appointment, but when I am the patient, his attention is focused entirely on me. You can understand the long wait. His demeanor and professionalism is outstanding.

We have had the best care from this doctor. Her staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The doctor is on top of new meds and treatments for Parkinsons. I would recommend her to anyone that has Parkinsons.

The staff here is so helpful and friendly. I really feel like Dr. Mentriddi and her team care about me. Theyre very quick to take care of my needs, and every visit is about as pleasant and hassle-free as a doctors visit could possibly be.

I was very disappointed with this office I called to schedule a new patient appointment 1/8/20, they were not familiar with my insurance, and Brittany asked me to e-mail her my card, I did front and back. I called to confirm that she received my e-mail, another employee advised to give her about an hour. I did, sent her an e-mail the following day 1/9/20 and no response here we are Monday 1/13/20 and STILL no response, glad I didnt wait and scheduled elsewhere. I also hold a position where I verify Insurance and call patients, this is poor customer service. What drew me to this office was the positive reviews, sad I cannot say the same.

I chose this place because according to their website it was in close proximity to my work, after making appointment they send me email stating that my appointment was at different location , my appointment was at 11 am, I arrived at 10 to do the paperwork, half an hour past my appointment time I asked for my money back and left without ever seeing doctor, and no they were not busy, but they were very ignorant, I hired the doctor to do a job, if he or she can’t show up to work on time I simply hire someone else, don’t waste your time and money, too many options out there

Kimberly who is Dr Pavasias PA and Dr Pavasia are exceptional! We were a new patient and they took the time and care to go over all our records and address ALL of our concerns and questions! We never felt rushed or hurried. We understand the diagnosis and know how to treat and our next steps! If anyone ever needs a doctor, you definitely need to go to him! He is very knowledgeable and the whole staff is wonderful!

So far, so good. Just set an appointment even though its three hours away. The young woman (Avonna? Alonna?), who answered and scheduled for me, was above and beyond awesome and helpful. If my appointment she squeezed me in for as a new patient, goes as smoothly as her help did, then I have nothing to fear.

Dr. Tran was extremely thorough and has assumed responsibility for the care of my difficult diagnosis. I really appreciate his concern for my well being!

Dr Pavasia is the best neurologist. He never rushes through consultations, he will answer all your questions and make you feel like you are his one and only patient. If you have Parkinsons and have a Deep Brain Stimulator, Dr Pavasia can take care of you.

Dr Angela Young has a great bedside manner. I see her every 3 months for Botox to stop cramping in my shoulder. It has been damaged by radiation treatments and my shoulder joint has been replaced. I initially went to a neurologist in Plano and she checked it out and said the damage area happened to long ago and there was nothing she could do. Dr Young began treating me and never said anything about damage happened to long ago. She is an excellent doctor and show real sympathy for her patients.

Dr. Steven Gerhardt and his team are wonderful, always fast responding to my inquiries. Dr. Gerhardt takes my concerns seriously and offers experienced insight.

Dr. Young performed thousands and thousands of dollars of tests on me and never bothered to give me my results. Her medical assistant is totally incompetent and couldn’t read a lab, didn’t send the correct prescriptions, promised to email/call/scan documents at least 5 different times. Never once did what she said she would. She sent the wrong prescription twice in a row and lied about overnighting samples on two different occasions after sending the wrong script to the pharmacy 2x. Young was great and very personable in her office but after months of trying to understand my tests and lab results, she never once got back to me with more than a single sentence email on the portal, “all looks good”, despite labs reading abnormal and pathology recommendations stating different opinions. I had to drive 40 mins to stand in the lobby and refuse to leave until I got a copy of all my records - even after I asked for them several days before. There was no front office manager that called me to discuss my 10+ calls to complain. Young never called to apologize or explain. No manager was there each time I asked. Everything that could have been screwed up was- the reviews are misleading. The office is poorly run and their is no one to answer any concerns or read any labs besides a Dr. and clearly neurologists aren’t calling all their patients back to explain results. The office cause more harm than good from all the stress. You’d be better off seeing a PCP for a Neuorology work up.

Dr. Takesaka did a great job during my my stroke and helped me with the insurance paperwork. She spent as much time as I needed to help me understand my questions.

Awesome medical facility

Before my visit with Dr. Mentreddi, her office got my mother’s cell phone number from her. During my visit I (a 23 year old adult) gave them my phone number and told them to not leave detailed health information on my voicemail. They then called my mother’s phone and left a detailed message to her regarding my health information. This is a very clearly defined violation of HIPAA and my rights. They never answer their phone, and when I called and tried to implore them to remove my mother’s phone and never leave a message again I was told to call during business hours and that not even a message would be provided to them the following day. The call to my mother was left after business hours! How do I know another one won’t be made? I have a very complicated condition and it is extremely important to me that I be allowed to explain my results to my family my self! DO NOT trust this office if you want you and your rights to be treated with respect. If they do this again I will be filing a law suit.

I loved everything about NCD. Everyone was so kind and made me feel like they honestly cared. Dr. Mentreddi was amazing at listening to each and everyone of my concerns and making me feel comfortable with our next steps. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked!

I wish there was a zero or negative grading. This is an awful place with the worst service ever. The staff are very dishonest. I was having several MRIs done (4 hours in total) the same day and their scheduler (a very rude woman and liar) only decides to check on the insurance coverage the day of the of the test after I have asked my company for PTO. To my surprise the tests were not covered by the insurance. So I wasted my PTO and the scheduler didnt care. this woman hung up on me 2 times because she did not want to deal with it. Very disorganized and inappropriate work ethics at Neurology Consultants of Dallas.

They have some fantastic doctors and staff, easy mobile check-in and the wait time and courtesy of the staff was fantastic. Will be returning!

The front office was rude and not helpful at all. I decided if the office staff was rude, I would find a different doctor with an office staff that cares about patients.

This is a great Doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional friendly and will spend as much time with you as necessary to determine what your problem is and will take the time to solve it.

The staff are very pleasant. The electronic check in very handy, much improved over paper. Dr. Pavasia spent a lot of time making 2 new programs for my Aunts DBS. The overall experience with staff and Dr. Pavasia fantastic.

I cancelled my first MRI schedule because I was told that I have to pay around $800 ( I got good insurance) a few months later I received a letter from my insurance that I got 1500 HSA. I called them and the billing department verified that I dont have to pay any single cents. Furthermore, I did go for it. Then few months later I had a bill almost 800. When I called them that rude lady told that I might not have an HSA I am not stupid that I dont remember my conversation with her. She hang up on me when Im trying to remind her my last conversation with her. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THAT PERSON NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

I got to see Dr Herzog the very first time I went in. I really liked him and felt confident with him. I have Serious headaches and he suggested Botox treatments. He gave me the first pain killer shots to be sure that the Botox would work. Fine, Then every time I have been back I see a P.A. I havent seen Dr Herzog again. I guess this is how they work. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that the office staff is next to worthless. I called back to change an appointment and trying to get through to anybody and finally getting my Appointment changed took just shy of ONE HOUR. I was on hold forever and then changed to someone else so I could be put on hold. If I hadnt already started with Dr Herzog I dont think I would waste my time with this office. He is great, but the staff is horrible. I dont like being on Hold but that is the norm with calling in to this office in Dallas.

No one wants to go to a neurologist to begin with, but our experience there was shady: being told our neurologist in the hospital would be who wed be meeting with for our appointment - didnt happen once - and were shuffled off to people that didnt even have a clue of the patients backstory...although there was nearly 4 weeks of detail at the hospital computer and their neurologist; and very poor customer service when it came to billing - and explanation.

Horrible office staff. They never call you back... the dr... schedules you for August.. then dumps you... no one ever calls to reschedule. When you finally get thru... youre transferred.... and have to let it ring and ring... and THEN... they have the nerve to be rude!!! Not going back...... :(

Jennifer corrected an appointment error and Dr. Krampitz worked me in and kept me from having to reschedule. Assistant was very nice and helpful.
