Doctor Herrera and her staff are the BEST!I’m having extensive dental work done and she goes up and beyond to make sure it is being done right. She is very knowledgeable and explains things very well. My husband and I are both happy to have her as our dentist.

When I went to Fresh Dental, I arrived with a huge dental phobia. It had been 4-5 years since I had last been to the dentist, and about 15 years between that one and the visit before that. Thank goodness for good genes that gave me very strong teeth and gums! Dr. Herrera and the rest of her kind, efficient staff completely put to rest all my fears. They carefully explained every step of the process, (I needed two crowns in teeth filled with metal fillings,). Additionally, they were very careful, and inquired about my comfort level every step of the way. Would I recommend Fresh Dental to anyone? Absolutely!

I admit- I do not like going to the dentist. So, I havent gone... FOR YEARS. What that meant was an inevitable emergency visit. My anxiety was going through the roof. Talking with Dr. Herrera immediately made me relax, calm down and feel at-ease. She was very empathetic from her own experiences. She attended dental school largely to provide the level of care that she would want as a patient. That resulted in the best dental care I have ever experienced! My worst nightmare was becoming my reality and I was in desperate need for a second opinion by an amazing dentist that cares about what’s important to me and my oral hygiene. One of my colleagues referred me to Dr Herrera. I felt like an abused lost dog before seeing Dr. Herrera. I didn’t know who to trust and what to do. I was so scared, I could not stop crying and I could not sleep but when I met Dr. Herrera everything changed . She was so comforting, extremely gentle and broke down what was happening to my teeth and laid out all options. Dr Herrera really cares about her patients. Fresh Dental is the place to go for any of your dental needs. I went in as a new patient a few months ago and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! They make you feel comfortable and dont try to push dental work that you dont need which is really nice!

This is my first review ever. But I’m a super new patient at this place and they are so much better than my previous dentist. They explained everything to me and they were eager to get everything fixed. I found out I had cavities and a week later I already had them filled. They also really care about the comfort of their patients. I know it’s a small thing but they have blankets and headphones and I think that’s a nice touch. Also the front desk lady (I don’t know her name) is funny and kind. Overall I couldn’t be happier that I found them.

For several yrs Ive been going to Fresh dental and they say the moment you enter the door you are family! Not only do they believe that forming and building relationships with their patients is equally as important as performing exceptional dentistry they stand by it and Ive witnessed it 1st hand on several occasions. Dr. Lorena Herrera and all her staff including but not limited to my personal favorite hygienist Meesha Mammen are professional, attentive, focused, cautious, accommodating, friendly, thorough, patient and experienced. Basically the list could go on and on. The atmosphere is quiet laid back and relaxing, they play relaxing music provide protective gear and headphones, sometimes you literally fee like your going to the spa rather the dentist office. Im thankful to leave feeling pain free and having a complete understanding of whats going on inside my mouth, the procedures that re necessary and the cost breakdown. as always its a pleasurable experience, yes read that again and I most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a family friendly dental practice.

I’m conflicted about my own 3-star review here. The DENTISTRY at FD is excellent and always has been. However, the latest iteration of front office staff is the pits. (hence the recent downgrade from my previously-glowing review)I am a long-time patient--since Dr. G [Amber] was there--and have remained despite the numerous staff changes. No one from the old guard is around…NO ONE. Dr. Lorena is a magnificent dentist and, since taking over a couple of years ago, has always managed to keep the comforting, welcoming, family-feel of the practice alive even with a revolving door of personnel. In fact, it was never an issue, because she surrounded herself with folks who seemed to have the same service-oriented, caring, genuine spirit about them. [I always laud and recommend FD to anyone in need of a dentist—I sent someone their way as recently as this Spring!]However, my recent experiences (plural) with the front office have marred my perception of FD. This is unfortunate, because I really couldn’t ask for a better dentist than Dr. Lorena. She is a kind, GENTLE, fully-explaining and easy-going practitioner...not pretentious at all.I am weighing whether the incompetence and unprofessional nature of the office manager (Cynthia) is worth me leaving the greatest dental practice I have ever encountered—as I would be hard-pressed to find another dentist like my current one.Hopefully, things will improve and I’ll be able to repost an FD review worthy of the prior service I’ve known.

I went to Fresh Dental in an emergency situation: one of my teeth broke. They were fast to schedule an appointment, and all the process went smooth. I have a serious trauma with dentists, but with Dr. Herrera, I felt safe. It also helped that she can speak Portuguese and, since thats my mother language, I could understand all the process that I was going through. Just had an emergency before Back Surgery on Monday. Found out that I needed to have a small cavity filled before surgery. Would have to cancel, if I couldn’t get it filled. Fresh Dental worked me in & out in less than 15 minutes. I’ve been going to them for at least 5 years. They are the best. If I hadn’t come in for my six month check, I wouldn’t have known & this could have caused a major infection after surgery! Because we knew it was a tiny cavity, it was a very quick fix. Be sure to check teeth regularly!

My family had been looking for a new dentist to go to and we chose this one because of it’s close location to us and the reviews online. I pretty much consider these wonderful people family because on my first visit I had to reschedule because my babysitter cancelled but they told me to come anyway and during my consultation they watched my little toddler. Absolutely the very best experience Ive ever had at the dentist. Dr. Guirguis and her team are true professionals--and, frankly, just delightful to be around. The whole office has a very positive atmosphere.They were all very helpful with answering my questions--the front desk office manager was incredibly thorough with getting verification through my insurance on what exactly was covered (which really put me at ease). The RDA was very detailed and discussed all of my X-rays with me so that I knew exactly what was going on with my teeth. The doctor offered a lot of excellent advice regarding my gums and sensitive teeth. This was important to me because I could tell that she cared about my dental work, and was willing to take the time to explain what I could do to improve my health.
