I transferred my care from an OB to a midwife (Emily) a little over half way through my pregnancy. It was the best decision I could have made. My prenatal care was much more involved rather than a quick 10-15 minute visit. My birth experience was everything I hoped for and my postpartum care was amazing as well.I also saw the chiropractor at the center, Dr. Deme, and was very impressed with her care. I would recommend her to anyone!

Absolutely love this place and the love I feel coming here. Becky is amazing! I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else as my midwife. She completely eased my mind as a FTM. My home, natural water-birth delivery went amazing. Her and Courtney make a perfect team. Love you Becky!! 💛

I highly recommend EDBW if you are considering a non-hospital birth. Emily patiently and kindly walked with me through my pregnancies, answered any questions I had, and always informed me of my options. Both of my birthing experiences with her at the birth center were so perfect. I loved the serenity of the Garden Birth Suite and the calmness and assurance Emily and the birth assistants brought with them. Seriously could not recommend EDBW enough!

We had the magical experience of going through pregnancy and birth with Emily/EDBW when our firstborn entered the world. We loved being able to do prenatal and postnatal care and also baby well checks with Emily, as no one else in town seemed to do it all. Emily stayed with us through 36 hours of labor, even after transferring to Baylor and we will be forever grateful for her calm influence and wisdom all throughout. The new birth center is stunning, immaculate, and extremely cozy, complete with gardens and chickens out back and very special events and gatherings that are well worth looking into. Thank you Emily for making our transition to parenthood such a special experience and for all the encouragement every step of the way!

I’ve been seeing Emily I think for almost 2 year’s now. We first met her when we wanted to do a tour and decided to do a preconception visit afterwards once we knew we wanted to go with Emily as my midwife. Emily is so incredibly sweet and has been so good to us throughout our pregnancy journey. Emily is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to go over any concerns or questions I have. She’s a wonderful midwife! Sadly I had a previa and had no other choice than to switch to an OB doctor because I had several episodes of bleeding that led to me being on bed rest at the hospital, which of course ended in a c-section. This crushed me. But Emily still reached out to me to check on me and see how we were doing and if she could help in anyway. I know after having my baby I can still use Emily for breastfeeding guidance/issues and woman’s wellness. I highly recommended Emily as your midwife. :)
