My fathers insurance company assigned Dr. Clayton as his primary care physician. My father called to make an appointment and was told he had to first submit paperwork to be approved by the doctor as a patient. I took time off work to take dad to the doctor office to submit the paperwork. Several days later, dad called to try to make an appointment and was told they still had not reviewed the paperwork and someone would call in a few days to make an appointment. Fast forward another week and I called to find out what was going on. I was told the doctor is not accepting new patients and the doctor doesnt accept my dads insurance (the same insurance that showed the doctor as taking new patients and accepting dads plan). When I asked why they couldnt have told us this 2 weeks sooner, there was no reason given. I have no idea whether I recommend the doctor, but his office is very poorly run and I wouldnt bother with him again.
