Our family has used this facility on three separate occasions with stellar results. Our granddaughter is a preemie and thus demands extra attention in some instances. All of our needs and expectations were met with both professionalism and enthusiasm. From our several greetings at reception to being taken back promptly to being made to feel welcome through the entire process we could not be happier. In this day and age I have come to insist on being treated with dignity and respect, I found it here at Nursing Specialties, Inc. We will continue to bring our granddaughter here whenever possible because of the great treatment we all received and because of the clean, friendly atmosphere that we seek in all of her care facilities. To put it plainly, our experience working with Nursing Specialties was nothing short of terrible. Our son who suffers from a myriad of heart conditions was to receive a special vaccine the first week of November. Orders for this vaccine were put in well over a month in advance and Nursing Specialties was to come to our home and administer the vaccine. They gave dates to expect the vaccine being given and those dates passed. They wouldn’t answer the phone, their voicemail box was constantly full. So I had to personally drive to their office on lunch which was staffed with one person to get answers. Of course, this person had no clue what was going on, and said they needed more information still before they could give the vaccine. At no point did they think to call us and let us know if a potential delay. A full blown upper respiratory infection would likely have catastrophic consequences for my son.At that point the president of the company magically got involved and offered to give the vaccine same day. We declined their services and will be getting the vaccine through the pediatrician.If I were a medical group I would give serious consideration before partnering with them for their services. If you are a patient, I would ask that your healthcare provider use a different service. The fact of the matter is that there are real world implications to poor service. The well being of my child (or any child) shouldn’t be in jeopardy because of your inability to run your business.
