This is our second time around here. My son did very well for several years after the first training program, but between the pandemic and some personal issues, his anxiety and aggression re-appeared. This time went even better than the first time around! The staff has been very helpful and are wonderful to work with. Thank you STL Neurotherapy!!!

I have been through this process with 2 of my children now. This staff is amazing And helpful throughout the entire process. Problems were solved that I did not think we could solve. After months of occupational therapy and counselors, I started to feel hopeless. That is when I know its time for Saint Louis neurotherapy institute. I realize that the price can be a bit of a Shock at 1st. Once you realize how happy your Child can be, It will be the best money you ever spent.

Neurotherapy eliminated my 83 year-old mother’s anxiety! She was having one or two panic attacks every single day for a couple of months (heart pounding, feeling tightness in her chest, sweaty palms, racing thoughts, couldn’t sleep more than 2 hours per night, excessive worry, and difficulty making decisions). She isolated herself from friends and even family functions, afraid to go out because she would be embarrassed if a panic attack hit. When we were young, she had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized. We were afraid she was heading down that path again. She was skeptical about neurotherapy at first, but thought she had nothing to lose…since she did not want to take medicine. She started neurotherapy and within 2 weeks her panic attacks completely stopped. Slowly over the 10 weeks, she began to get better and better. It was like watching a flower bloom. She started becoming more social, going to a senior exercise class, playing cards, volunteering at the hospital, etc. Her sleep improved dramatically. She now sleeps a minimum of 6-7 hours every night consistently. She is happy and confident again. She told me the other day that she thinks more clearly and has better decision-making skills than she has in years. Dr Rhodes, Angeline and the rest of the staff are so compassionate and friendly!!! Thank you so much that I have my mother back!!

I could not recommend St. Louis Neurotherapy any higher! Great staff and professionals that truly care about your results. My brother was struggling even on medication and within a few short months he is doing so much better, and we have reduced his medication by more than half. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an alternative for ADHD meds.

There are truly no words to describe the incredibly awesome, unbelievably effective and amazing experience our daughter experienced at St. Louis Neurotherapy Institute. Katie and Danielle, who work in the office to schedule and conduct the therapy sessions, were beyond awesome and always worked so hard to accommodate our schedule. Dr. Shafaies expertise and patience was such a gift to our daughter. We see such an improvement in her anxiety and ADD that we would highly recommend it to anyone struggling to overcome these type of behaviors. We our beyond grateful for their hard work, expertise and care they extended to our daughter. Thank you so very much!

The St. Louis Neurotherapy Institute helped me immensely with managing my crippling anxiety. Everyone in the office is so incredibly helpful and understanding and nonjudgmental. The process of exercising and retraining your brain is time consuming and requires dedication, but it works! I no longer take my anxiety medication after completing the program. All of the staff truly worked with me as I lived two hours away during my time using the program. They’re a great group of people who really help you and make a difference in your everyday life! Highly recommend at least going in for a free consultation. I cannot sing enough praises for how it has helped me!

I started out in late March for my first scan, I was all in red zone. I was told from the beginning that it was going to take a lot of time. Since my anxiety was so strong, and my depression I couldnt hold a job. Id be there as much as I could but some days, Id pull up and have a panic attack in the parking lot. I never used to have panic attacks!!! So, we finally started this in April. Its been the 7 longest months.. I finally have a job, a job that I intend to keep! Im finally happy again. It takes forever to find your own happy... but, I found it again through their help. Im 27 years old, so it is true that this even helps adults! Im very pleased with the way my brain has changed. I still have a few problems, but those are my own demons to face! :) thank you so much, Danielle and Katie for helping me get through all of this and having the patience with me! :)

Ive suffered from migraines for around 25 years. I am absolutely blown away by the results Ive gotten. I no longer require a preventative medication AND my headache days have gone from 12-15 per month to 2. Yes....2! This has been life changing. Dr. Rhodes and his staff are all wonderful. They have stood behind everything theyve told me and there have never any hidden fees or costs. They are very straight forward about what they feel they can do for you and do not make empty promises. My advice is to trust them. Keep and open mind and do what they tell you to do and youll be AMAZED at what theyll help you accomplish.

Did not work for us. Do your research before starting a neurotherapy program, and talk to your doctor. My son completed the program last summer. His ADHD did not improve, and now he has a harder time sleeping than he did before. He had been a great sleeper but has had trouble sleeping solidly through the night ever since completing the program. It’s been a year. I would not do it again and would not recommend.

My son received 4 concussions in a two year period of time and has suffered from daily post-concussion migraines for the last two years. We saw two Concussion Specialists, tried 6 different medications and many different means of PT and Vestibular Therapies. We came to Dr. Rhodes after all conventional means of treatment failed to help him. After 3 months of Neurotherapy, we are pleased to say that not only are his migraines under control, they are virtually non-existent at this time. We owe a mountain of gratitude and Dr. Rhodes and his staff and could never express in words alone how much they restored much needed normalcy in our sons life...and ours!

St. Louis Neurotherapy has been an amazing blessing for our daughter and family. We had tried medication to help our daughters ADHD but that did not go well. She also had anxiety and a processing disorder. After attending a seminar for St. Louis Neurotherapy, I knew that this was what she needed. We learned so much about our daughter and how her brain worked. Within a month of starting treatment, her grades improved drastically. Her focus issues are now non-existent and her anxiety is so much better. She is now much more confident in herself. Our family would highly recommend St. Louis Neurotherapy.

Maybe for kids 7 years and under....a hatchling in terms of 7 years of experience this company... i found other(s) with higher level of care/professional expertise.there are plenty of places in stl that dont have to boast themselves helping we are proud helping 600 families.. the main doctor read his qeeg report wrong though convincingly. told me one of the qeeg result mark that showed up in test was spasm (dude never asked if i experience spasm(s)/discomfort during qeeg or what the f that could have been). the next level of experience/company found it to be not a ..spasm.. consult dr shafais job was to assure us that they CAAN help us and we should take a six hundred dollar qeeg test(no installment plan) and he did. a TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULY interesting exp.

If your child has ADHD, I HIGHLY suggest checking out Saint Louis Neurotherapy Institute! We had 4 different medical professionals tell us that Leif was most likely going to be diagnosed with ADHD once he turned 5. His initial scans were extremely impulsive. In just two weeks of biofeedback/brain training, we noticed some major changes. After 12 weeks, he was a new kid! His level of focus was amazing, he had better emotional regulation and he stopped acting out to try to cover up his inability to do something (and he still kept his crazy personality). Im a very happy mother and it was so worth the money. If you have any doubts, feel free to email, call or message me. I get zero kick backs from this post. I am just so happy they were able to help Leif and I want to share it with the world so more people know about it as an option to treat ADHD. Thank you, Saint Louis Neurotherapy Institute, for helping Leif!

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 10, and Depression/Anxiety when I was 13. I was on medication for years and years. The side effects of both medicines would make me want to isolate myself, be very easily irritated, cause rapid heart rate, and make me very drowsy. For many years I wanted to get off my medicine. I even try to once in 2005, but was unsuccessful.Last year, at age 33, someone had mentioned neurofeedback to me, and I had never heard of it. I went to the informational session, and heard several success stories and learned of all the sound scientific research that demonstrates the success rate. I decided to go ahead and try it.After a few weeks of treatment, I was starting to tell the difference. I decided to go off my anti-depressant. I was successful coming off it, and am still not in need of it today. Not that everyone should go off their meds in a month, I was already on a low dosage. But I believe neurofeedback gave me the push I needed to be successful with getting off my anti-depressant.I continued the treatment for 5 more months, and with the help of my psychiatrist, reduced the dosage of my medicine for ADHD. As of last June, I was able to get off my ADHD medication completely! I now function fine when doing tasks that require focus. This treatment really works! The staff is fantastic, very helpful, patient, and flexible! I had a very positive experience, and I recommend it to anyone who is wanting to get off meds. I recommend it also to any parent, who is wanting their child to focus and succeed academically and socially at school. In hindsight, I wish my parents would have known about it when I was growing up.Thank You St. Louis Neurotherapy!

Dr. Rhodes,Our teenage daughter, Kate, suffered from severe migraines for the last 2 1/2 years. Her migraines would often last a week or more causing her to miss upwards of 40 school days a year. The typical migraine medications were not very helpful for her so we continued to try new ones. Throughout this time she was also admitted to the ER and Inpatient for IV treatments. Desperate for other options, I came across St. Louis Neurotherapy Institute through internet searches. I am writing this now three months later and am happy to report that her Neuro-training treatments have exceeded our expectations. We were very surprised to see that the change was nearly immediate. She has only had 2 very brief migraines lasting one day since beginning treatment and has missed no school days. Thank you for providing a safe drug-free solution to this debilitating situation.

My son started showing signs of having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD for short around age 3. His pediatrician prescribed medication when he reached age 5 to help him be successful in school. After an adverse side effect from increasing his medication, our pediatrician referred us to a pediatric Psychiatrist. She has tried prescribing several different kinds of medications and doses trying to find the right one for my son. Each medication change had negative side effects for him, such as not being able to sleep, loss of appetite, increased irritability, and increased anxiety, which he already struggled with. I felt as if each time his medication changed I was choosing between the lesser of two evils: the side effects of the medicine or the behaviors of ADHD.Then, a family member saw Dr. Rhodes on Great Day St Louis and asked me to watch the segment. The dad that was speaking shared some of the struggles his child & family went though before working with Dr. Rhodes. Their struggles were similar to what we experienced too, and the positive experiences they had with Dr. Rhodes gave me. I called the St Louis Neurotherapy Institute right after watching the segment. Next I attended the parent information night; I signed my son up for their program right after meeting with Dr. Rhodes and determining that my son was a good candidate for the program.Dr. Rhodes had the same goal we did of being able to get my son completely off of any ADHD medications, and were getting there The changes Ive seen in my son throughout his 4 months of training are amazing His medication dosage has been successfully reduced 3 times; he has almost no anxiety or irrational fears anymore but when he does feel worried, the intensity and duration of the episodes have been dramatically reduced. Hes stopped the nervous habit of picking at his fingernails and toenails until they bled. He is able to sleep at night. And, he often needs just one reminder to follow a simple request instead of him being asked 30 times to put on his shoes. :) At first I only noticed small changes in him, then I noticed more dramatic changes. Now family and friends have also been able to notice the differences in him since his training has started. Hes still the same great kid, but now hes less worried & anxious, able to concentrate more easily and generally just happier. All of the staff in Dr. Rhodes office is friendly and kind and make an effort to get to know my son and make him feel comfortable. Throughout the neuropathy training we had several meetings to check in about my sons progress and the changes we saw, receive answers to any questions we had, and learn about how certain vitamins, supplements, and changes in his diet could be beneficial for him. When Dr. Rhodes gave me my sons beginning and ending brain mapping diagrams to show a 56% improvement overall from March to July of this year, I felt so happy I couldve done backflips out of the office. I would highly recommend families of children diagnosed with ADHD attend an information session to see if this program is right for their family. I feel so lucky that we were able to work with Dr. Rhodes and the St Louis Neurotherapy Institute and that weve had so much success that with this program.
