I’m working here first shift right now from agency, and I just want to say that I am SO impressed. As soon as I walked in the building I was helped right away, the nurse Donna is amazing she’s been more than happy to answer all of my questions all day long (which its unusual for agency staff to be treated so nicely) and the facility is very very clean, smells good, and I definitely will be returning to work here when there are shifts available.

When my home started to become unsafe for my mother we made the decision to move her into assisted living. We wanted a place where she wouldnt feel overwhelmed by the size of the facility. We visited a few places that had been recommended to us and found Scandinavian Home to have the warm, cozy feel we were hoping for. The staff is more like extended family while still maintaining their professionalism. They are attentive and caring and inform me promptly if she has any issues. Shes been there for over a year now and she still says she feels like a queen because her every need is taken care of. Shes made friends and enjoys participating in some of the many activities. They hold beautiful celebrations for the residents and their families to come and enjoy their hospitality. Sometimes for holidays, sometimes just because and they really go the extra mile. I visit often and rest easy knowing shes in such good hands. Thank you all at Scandinavian Home for making these golden years safe and enjoyable for my mom.
