Been dealing with an issue for a year. Ed McCormick seemed so nice when we met. Then showed his true colors. As my lawyer he should have been filing papers and fighting for me in court but yet i was told to go file myself. Then told at court my lawyer should be doing this. He showed up at court three times. I didnt even get to go in twice. I was stuck in a hallway and when he came out he said nothing. Was just in a hurry to leave. The 1 time i got in the courtroom he sat there and let the other lawyer take charge. Didnt say a word. Felt like i had no one on my side. After that I was ignored for months. Emails not answered and many phone calls not returned. I ended up back in court alone without a lawyer. Am now looking for a new one. If I could give negative stars I would. I swear he was working with the other side. Probably got paid off. How can a lawyer do this to a client??? Its really just disgusting and wrong.

Ed spent several minutes on the phone with me discussing a potential case. He looked it up online and offered valuable insight without charging me. Seems like one of the few good lawyers out there.

This is the dumbest Attorney I have ever met. He will take a retainer of any amount he can get up front then he will not respond to phone calls or emails once he has your retainer. He does not follow through on his words. I have serious reason to believe he does not know how to draft a motion and now reading his reviews I see this other people have also suffered from his lack of understanding of legal processes. Be aware

If I could rate this so called professional firm negative stars I would. I am a member of legal shield and had filed a complaint with this firm. My father had unexpectedly passed away last year and not knowing the rules of engagement you rely on a professional, unfortunately it wasn’t the case. This team and individual doesn’t follow up and has the worst professional manners I could ever encounter. I really question if this firm even has the credibility to operate as a firm. After several months of unanswered emails, misrepresentation, and unfriendliness of the firm I would rate this firm as the worst firm ever. I had communicated all expenses from my fathers passing and my so called lawyer who had operated as a chameleon had not represented my side to the judge and thus I was left with unaccounted expenses. This firm is a true case study for any professionals who reside or pursuing in this field to learn on what NOT to do. How this firm exists baffles me and wonder if there were other contributing factors which left this firm to work against their own client. I will continue to challenge legal shield to discount this firm from their network and I am mentally drained and can’t operate after all that I had undergone. I fortunately terminated this relationship and found a good lawyer. Please don’t waste your time, effort, and spirit on this so called legal firm. Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!!

Terrible!!! I waited for a whole year for him to gather the proper documents, and still I am waiting. No follow through, no follow up, a year later in the same spot I started. Worst legal experience ever.

Ed and staff were very helpful and informative during my recent divorce. Going through a divorce is stressful enough and not knowing the timelines, terminology or procedures adds to that stress. Went to Ed cause he was a longtime friend of a my cousin. He doesnt fight for you he just sits back and goes for the ride. He let the other lawyer dictate what we were supposed to do. I sat in a hallway and got third party information the whole time we went to court. I never ever heard of a divorce where you have to sit in a hallway and accept my fate from false accusations. If your case does not have a child involved he is the guy for you but, if there is a child and your looking for counsel to call you and let you know whats going on each step of the way look elsewhere. Never returns phone calls for weeks at a time then its to late. Definitely a waste of time. Would not recommend him.

Walked in for my appt at 9am..which i was on time..receptionist didnt know what was going on...told me I WAS THE 9AM APPT...but someone else had my appt....Was interviewed by SOMEONE..had no idea who she was IN THE RECEPTION AREA...Finally met Ed McCormick in the reception area...didnt know WHO I WAS....and just had some woman finish my interview...Had the WORST IMPRESSION of him and the office...felt unwelcomed and just like another number...At this point FINALLY in passing got to meet the atty...NOT EVEN A HANDSHAKE...NO ADVICE OF WHAT TO DO...WHERE WE WOULD GO WITH MY CASE!Felt VERY VULNERABLE....i couldnt trust him w my case..my gut feeling was to leave..and so i did.People with HYATT LEGAL PLAN...PASS THIS GUY..GO TO NEXT ON THE LIST
