You have a lot of support out here. Government overreach has gotten out of control. Since when do they have our best interests in mind? It’s all profit driven. Thanks Stephen

I had oral surgery performed by Dr. Skoly back in the mid-2000s and I found him to be friendly and skillful. I wound up with a dry socket and I was able to get in quickly to have it remedied. When they tell you not to drink out of straw right after surgery theres a reason, which I found out the hard way! Fast forward a decade and I found myself taking my two teenage daughters to Dr. Skoly to have their wisdom teeth removed. His staff were wonderful in easing my daughters fears and the surgery was completed without any complications other than some swollen cheeks for a couple of days.

Dr. Stephen T. Skoley extracted my tooth and it was like a medieval torture session. He gave me so many Novocain shots, I became ill. Then he yanked my tooth like a medieval barber. He gave me no antibiotics even though my root was infected. I suffered for months and he did nothing and seemed not to care. He only spent about 1 minute with me in aftercare, which I insisted on - he didnt think it was necessary. Finally, my regular dentist gave me antibiotics. The staff is very nice, however. Please reconsider before using him for anything.

My daughter had an awful experience. Went in to have 4 wisdom teeth extracted and was treated extremely poorly. She was sent back to the waiting room after she was already hooked up to start procedure and had to wait 45 min (punishment for being 10 min late). Once brought back in, she was given gas instead of an IV (which we were told she was going to get) that she had a reverse reaction to. Made her EXTREMELY anxious and very awake and aware of what was going on. I was in the waiting room the entire time (45 minutes) and not told any of this was happening. Isn’t that the reason why I stayed, to be informed of any problem? When I was taken in to see her when they told me the procedure was done, she was crying and kept saying she had to go back to have other 2 removed. I was shocked!Staff was extremely rude! Needless to say, found another office to have others removed with a much better, extremely different, pleasant experience.

Dr. Skoly is the best! Ive gotten lock jaw twice now that wouldnt resolve itself (thanks TMJ) and Dr. Skoly has been superb in taking care of it. I just had my 2nd TMJ jaw reduction done and felt much less anxious about it this time around. If you have anomaly oral problems like me, youre in good hands here! Thanks again Dr!

While the Dr. I met with at my consultation seemed nice, the office staff are less than competent. I received a call to confirm my wisdom teeth removal the day before my surgery. I said yes I was coming, she told me not to eat or drink after midnight, and then we hung up. The usual. The day of the surgery I called to let them know I was running a few minutes late, and the woman on the phone told me I was no longer scheduled because I had called to cancel the day before because they werent in my network and I wanted to find a surgeon who was. Obviously there was some mistake on their end because I wouldnt be calling to let them know I was running behind if I had cancelled for such a specific reason. She was very rude and unapologetic, and when I argued that whoever made that phone call doesnt know what shes doing, she interrupted me to say no, we write everything the patient says down. Well, maybe they do but they charted that in the wrong patients file. So now some other patient who tried to cancel their own appointment is probably going to be wrongly billed for not showing up for an appointment they tried to cancel. I wouldnt be as bothered if she even said so sorry about the mix up, I wish there was something we could do to fix this, but instead she basically implied that I was lying and wouldnt be able to reschedule me for another month. I absolutely will not be returning as a patient here. I cant risk something like this happening again when other people have to disrupt their own lives to watch my small kids and stay with me for the procedure.

Recently, my daughter (19) had to have her wisdom teeth removed immediately prior to going abroad for a semester. Dr. Skoly got her in right away - took them out the next day and she had no problems. Having had dry socket myself several times after oral surgeries, I could not have been more pleased with her treatment. Would strongly recommend.

The absolute worst medical experience that I have ever had. So in November 2015, about two months after my mother’s passing, I needed to have wisdom teeth removed because I was in pain. Dr. Skoly, removed two of my wisdom teeth. I thought everything was fine, but then noticed that they only prescribed me enough Vicodin for about 2 days. In the middle of the second day, I realized that I was still in an immense amount of pain and that I only had one pill left so I knew I would need something else. I called his office and asked if there was anything else I could take, his staff seemed to not care and said there was nothing more that I could take and to Ibuprofen. I tried that when I ran out of Vicodin and that did nothing for my pain. I called again several times and they only scheduled me for an appointment about 2 weeks later. I was in pain and taking a bunch of Motrin and Tylenol, which just took the edge off the pain slightly, but did not solve the problem. When I finally saw the doctor, he said I had a dry socket, but that it had started to fill so he didn’t need to do anything to it. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this doctor. You would think they would have made an appointment for me immediately given my complaints of pain, but they did not care. It was horrible. I could barely sleep or eat.
