This helpful center - government funded - left this woman in a crisis. I went to speak to someone about my current crisis. Forgot my wallet - all very important contents - 3 days ! 3 days I went without before remembering I went there. Call. “Oh yeah. It’s here. Been safe in my desk. “They had my name number AND address.. WoW

These people are Angels sent from God to help those going through emotional trauma! I had a scary and shocking event that left me feeling very upset and traumatized. Being able to feel heard and cared for by Chastity helped me to move forward toward soul healing. I am so grateful this agency is there!

I was in a abusive relationship back in 2013 and I stayed here for two weeks and I have to say this place is awesome for women and children if you need a safe house to be at away from the abuser and they keep it anonymous bc of that. The food is really good, women were really nice, and you kinda lean on each other through the hard emotional time your going through. They make it to where u have whatever you need and are very helpful with counseling and classes! This is hands down the best place Ive been to to get out of a bad situation and make a new life for yourself!

The women really can help by counseling, providing shelter from an abusive spouse. Just be aware of predatory women who will steal, lie to you and take any money you have should be minimal. My personal experience was truly mixed. Women threatened to beat me in my sleep. Others just wanted to use me for rides and cigarettes. I hope you remember why you are there. Be friendly but you are not there to make friends.

Great assistance for troubles women. They help things get better. They can help with food and shampoo and soap etc.

It says WOMENS CRISIS CENTER!!! But yet there are men there at one of the unaddressed building in newport. And they let drunks live there and drug addicts and thefts and not to mention some girls there start so much drama and get other girls kicked out for no reason and some of the staff there dont get both sides to the stories so they just clean house/kick the drama starter and the innocent person out and there homeless again and the staff say thats not there problem. This place is not safe at all.

Good organisation but shelter is very unprofessional and does not protect your aminimity the way it should.

Evryone is kind and helpful. If youre in need of advice or help from abuse, call or go see them.

This place saves our lives,even when we think that we dont need saving.To have such a place in our community is an excellent choice,to have it.Sometimes we dont appreciate a thing untill we need it!
