When I call to place an order sometimes I do not receive a callback. After multiple calls they may call in 3 or 4 days. You better know what you need because they will not help you. I have called my doctor to see if he can recommend a replacement. An update. My latest interaction in Oct 2018 was very good. They got back to me in a couple of hours and had a list of what I was qualified for under medicare on this order. I received it within four days. I sincerely hope that this improvement is permanent. I call again for supplies in Dec 2018 and the help and response time was truly outstanding. I am optimistic that this is the new norm for them.

My oxygen machine alarm went off. I called Sunday night. Got a call back before they opened on Monday. Had a replacement here within 2 hours and an oxygen replacement tank too. Supplies given with no problem and on his way in 10 minutes. No muss, no fuss. Just the way I like it.

Answered right away, spoke to the customer service person and ordered and changed credit card info in less than five minutes. Very pleasant experience. And she was able to answer all of my questions

Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. My husbands supplies were shipped but never arrived. When called, all they tell you was that the tracking number says it was delivered. When you tell them we did not receive it, they said take the tracking number to the post office and see if someone turned it in! Seriously??? I asked if they had insurance on the package - no, they did not. When asked if no one turned it in they said we would have to pay out of pocket for new supplies or wait until our insurance would pay again. How is this our problem? You ship medical supplies with no insurance on the package? Their attitude is like Im lying and trying to get more free supplies. I am calling our insurance company to make sure they are not paid for supplies we didnt receive.

I wish I could give them a zero. When it comes to payment arrangements, you’ll hear from them pronto. Otherwise they don’t want to talk to you. I have a problem with my CPAP, but their answer is to make an appointment with my doctor so he can fix it. They won’t even let me talk to a respiratory therapist to determine whether I’m using it properly and it’s operating properly. So I’m going back to the doctor all right and I’m going to try to get myself switched to a service that cares and I’m going to strongly suggest that their practice never use these clowns again.

Disgustingly ugly people that make my stomach turn. All they do is lie. Theres only one person there that can even fathom how to run a company. I guarantee you JD if I have to crawl to the supreme Court to show the ruling of how youll keep screwing people over I will!!!!I

Awful company. They have no idea how to run a company or treat customers. Accused me of not returning bed and wheelchair. Had to make multiple calls to the assisted living home, who confirmed that in fact it had been returned months ago. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, and inconveniencing me, they still asked me to pay a bill from 5 months ago. (Even after hearing about my mothers death) I paid the bill, but I still continue to receive the same bill every month, even after calling to resolve this. Im sure there are better companies out there.

My dad, Gary Howell, had a great experience with Peoples. When his fathers CPAP died it was delivered to Peoples and they were very responsive and replaced it the same day. Elba and Abby were wonderful and did a great job!

If I could give more stars, I would! In the 3 years I have had my CPAP machine, I have never had a functionality problem until this weekend. Thursday I had septoplasty surgery and was discharged with specific instructions stressing the importance of using my CPAP, even when napping, because the pain medications I was on could make my sleep apnea worse. Unfortunately, at bedtime last night I discovered that my CPAP would run, but no air was coming through the tubing. I went to sleep without the machine, but was awakened at 2:00 a.m. unable to breathe. At 3:00 a.m. I phoned the after hours number for Med Resources (formerly Peoples Home Medical) and was told a text message would be sent to a RT. At 8:00 a.m. Chana Whestone phoned me and immediately diagnosed the CPAP problem. She was so kind and knowledgeable!

No stars! The customer service is terrible. I have had numerous experiences with Peoples Home Medical in Covington Ga and every time is bad. I believe that they have been instructed to be as unhelpful as possible. It is much more cost effective to simply order your supplies online and have them delivered to your door at half of the cost. I refuse to use them for anything, ever again.

This was the third company I had to deal with for the same breathing equipment. The other 2 companies were horrible and their customer was even worse. This company, was the exception. They answered my calls, they were polite, they got me the equipment in a timely manner. I had such a good experience with them that I told the prescribing doctor he should use them more

I just got off the phone with my insurance company and found out this bunch of crooks are lying and stealing.When they brought my bipap machine they took all the extra supplies and said they had to do that.Now I find out everything with that kit is supposed to stay with the patient.Also they have been saying how the insurance company wont pay for supplies and I would have to pay out of pocket. Also a lie.I bet they are grabbing all the extra parts and selling them under the table for pure profit.Biggest bunch of crooks ever. And nothing has even come close to making me change my mind.So now I have asked for an investigation into their practices. Lets hope they pay for the way they treat people.If I could rate this company lower I would.Was lied to about bringing back a different mask.Was lied to about bringing back a chin strap.When I called 4 times to check on this I only received one call back. That was to inform me that I didnt qualify for a new mask as it was past the exchange time.Of course it was since they will not return calls.So I called my insurance company for a name of a more reputable company..Never using this company again.I am still forced to use the bunch of lying crooks until the rental period is over. But really poor customer service and no matter what you call about some how it will be your fault.

I am not sure what happened to this place but customer service has gone to hell there. I called needing simply supplies and you would have thought I was trying to steal something. Place gone way downhill in the last couple of years...

Exceptionally poor service. Assessment based on failure to answer phone calls over multiple days, failure to return messages in a timely manner, unprofessional attitude of several employees - I concur with other reviews indicating that you ask your healthcare provider to select a different company for your service.

Peoples Home Medical is a great company. Having previously worked with other DME companies... i believe that most people have to understand that everyone is human. Peoples Home Medical always tries their best to get back to their patients whenever there is a need and we all have to remember that the insurance companies play a HUGE roll in getting stuff. If your doctor doesnt send the appropriate information, they have to request it which can take sometime. If you ever need anything , their management team is wonderful and they take time to listen and make a way to meet in the middle. I give them five stars because you try to work with the bigger guys (wont name them), youll see a huge difference ***and its not a positive difference. I HIGHLY recommend Peoples Home Medical to anyone and the best part, they accept Medicare and most all private insurance

Worst customer service ever. Not only is the office staff rude the delivery person is as well. Instead of explaining to you they are short tempered and yell at you. Had them pick up their equipment and ordered through another company. Stay away from this company they treat the elderly terrible.

DO NOT let your doctors office place an order with this company!!! I checked on the status of the order after 1 week and they said it was in the insurance companys hands. I explained my father was in pain every night and desperately needed the hospital bed. When I called the insurance co. they said a fax was sent back to the company requesting a billing code. A month passed before I finally got an answer from Peoples Home Medical/Med Resources after leaving 2 voicemails (because you can never get anyone to answer). They told me they were NOT In-network and he would be charged $56/month rent. Gee, you think a competent person would have told me that the first week I called so I could tell my doc to send request elsewhere instead of watching my father suffer for a month! Emory Hospital will also be informed so they can cross these idiots off their list.
