I love taking our dog here. They always make her feel right at home and like she was apart of the family. Normally she’s a little skid dish going into vets, which I’m sure most of us would be too. But she walks right in like she owns the place. The people are very informative, nice, and willing to take the time to listen to your concerns and questions. They aren’t like some places, where you’re just another number or annual visit… They’ve always answered every question, followed up with me if they didn’t know. All the staff from the people at the front counters to the staff with your pets are very professional. Wouldn’t recommend any other place.

Doctor Fuller is extremely knowledgeable and has been caring for and delivered 4 generations of my dogs. He is always attentive and helpful any hours day or night even on the weekends. He is passionate about these animals if it had not been for his determination my best male dog would not have ever took a breath. Their service may not be the most In expensive but it is definitely the best value. Thank countryside and thank Exocet Fuller

I absolutely love Dr.Dan, we had got a horse that was having issues for years, that other vets could not figure out what was going on. He came out and took care of both my babies and told me what was wrong just in the first visit! Super nice staff and wonderful people! I definitely recommend them 100 times over again!

I Was very impressed with this vet. For my first time going here they made a great impression, from the first phone call to schedule my appointment to the end the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr.Childers was awesome, I have been rushed a lot of places and she did not do that at all. She was very patient with me and was very helpful in answering all my questions, she took the time to make sure I understood what was going on. The other vet staff that came out first were just as good, very helpful and super friendly people. I will be swapping Vets to continue going here as well as taking my other dog here. Great experience

Ive known and worked with Dr. Fuller for about twenty years...hes treated both canine and equine animals for me. Hes always been easy to talk to, the kindest to animals and extremely successful in the treatment given. Communication between doctor and pet owner is critical and Dr. Fuller has never disappointed us. Id suggest this clinic to ANYONE. Give them a call!!

We are thankful for the team at Countryside and we are especially blessed that Dr. Childers takes such good care of our dogs. She clearly and patiently answers our many questions; and she gives us her full attention every time we see her. Even though the pandemic has changed our “normal” office visit experience, Dr. Childers continues to meet our needs and the needs of our pets with professionalism and with quality service! Thank you, Countryside family!

It breaks your heart to see your companion in pain. Our Bella spent months limping around. We were told by other vets that this was due to her getting older and developing arthritis. She was still ready to go and spend her day on the farm, but her body couldn’t hold up to it.They never once took X-rays and looked for a cause. We kept her on medication and she continued to get worse. We came into Countryside for a second opinion - couldn’t be happier with this decision. They were thorough, caring, and answered every question that we had.We decided that the best thing for Bella was to undergo a Tightrope procedure to repair the damage to her knee. It’s now 10 months later and Bella is back to enjoying her life on the farm with no pain and no limp. Thank you Countryside for giving Bella her life back!

They Burned my dog on a heating blanket after cropping his ears. (same experience as reviewer named “g hz”) I am beside myself. Words cannot express the frustration and anger that I feel. I have been waiting years and years to finally get my prized $1,500 Doberman and instead of letting the breeder’s recommended vet in SC do the cropping I decided to find my own so I could pick up my pup 3wks early. I drove over an hr to go to Countryside and waited all morning for the actual procedure and post surgery process. I received my pup back and when I went to lift him up by his chest as usual... he winced... but just a tiny bit... when I got him home an hour later, he winced even more when I picked him up out of my truck. I then noticed a bump on the right side of his chest. (Very dull and minor bump under the skin) so I called the vet back and asked to see if maybe it was just an injection site that was a little swollen. The vet confirmed no, we do not administer injection in that area... so I told myself to wait and see if it subsided... NOPE got worse and worse each passing day. TBContinued

I gave them 2 stars because we had been using this office for a long long time. We had very positive interactions with Dr. Fuller as well as Dr. Stancil, who is unfortunately no longer with this hospital. (Dr. Stancil) We had an experience a few months with Dr. Katie Childers. I was treated disrespectfully but thought to myself, maybe I misread the situation or maybe she was just having a bad day. Then a couple days ago, we took our dog in for a scheduled procedure. Long story short, it did not go as planned and when I picked the dog up I had questions that the young lady could not answer but said the doctor would call me with more information later in the afternoon. Well, the doctor did not call so I called the next morning and they said they would ask the doctor to call me. Well, Dr. Childers did call back and I really did not appreciate her tone. She was pretty rude. I hope she is better with animals than she is with people. We are changing veterinarians clinics as a result. I can give her one pass but not two.

Been coming to these guys for over 10 years, Dr. Fuller has been our vet for a very long time. This morning I called at exactly 8 with an emergency and asked if a vet was in the office yet, they said yes. I explained situation and the girl at front desk said come on in now with her. I arrived shortly after 8:30; was asked all kinds of standard questions then put in a room. They then told me that Dr. Fuller was in meetings all morning and didnt know when he could get to us and asked if could leave my dog!!! UMMM NO!!! That was not discussed over the phone! I was absolutely devastated at this point because my dog was in pain, crying as was I and I felt like I just wasted valuable time! I ended up leaving and going to another clinic and getting my dog taken care of! This is a 4lb dog in shock and they had all there vets on staff in a meeting and not one of them could stop and come take look and stabilize my dog and at least evaluate her! I will not ever bring any of my dogs back to this place! Thank GOD she didnt die because of the negligence of these people!

I took my horse to Dr. Dan because of being lame on and off for a couple of months. Nothing like have your boy be in pain and just not know why and you cannot fix it! Dan and Rachel assessed him and then started testing, During the sonogram is when he realized the problem, and made an extra step to go ahead and check the other leg, well there was inflammation in BOTH legs. A couple injections later, a few days rest and my boy is back to moving like he should. THANK YOU to both of you for caring so much for him and making the special effort to make him comfortable. If you have a horse that needs to be seen, make the special trip to Countryside. Bringing your horse in with an issue and leaving with answers and treatment, well you cant ask for more than that!! Dr. Dan is the best! and GO DAWGS!!

I had been going to country side for the last 4 months. About 8 times within that 4 month timeframe to be exact. I’ve called each time i made it (per staff request) in order to notify the staff i was present and was told to wait someone would be out to assist me. Each time i would wait over an hour and would see other ppl pulling in being helped out immediately and leaving. When i call to see what’s going on, i was always told “oh we forgot, we will have someone out there soon”. We have also requested information change from my wife contact info to mines. Three separate occasions I’ve given them my information to put into the system and was never done. The respect level, the professionalism, and the sincerity Is nonexistent.

Upon my long distance move to this area, having a few animals in tow, i was determined to find a vet practice that was just as good as what i had left behind.... with countryside vet,i found better than i had expected! The entire staff is AWESOME! They treat YOUR pets like one of THEIR family members. Its been 6 years, and theyve never failed to give their best to each of my fur babies. Even when i lost one, they submitted a donation to the team where they teach, in honor of my fur babies name. They are thoughtful and considerate of your feelings and always make you feel just how important your babies are. The pricing is very fair and the love is unconditional!! Recommend this place completely!

2 1/2 years ago Dr. Carter and his Staff operated on my daughter’s horse when he suffered a street nail injury. They not only saved his life, but were integral in working with our barn manager to see him through rehab. Our horse made a complete recovery, and returned to Reining competition. I’m proud to share they placed 1st in a competition this past weekend, looking better than ever. My family is forever grateful to Countryside - they are simply the best!

Love the doctors. I made the mistake of not getting a written quote before my dogs dental visit. Ended up costing $120 more than I was quoted. The video on the website showing what is done at a dentistry appointment is very misleading. Im a dental hygienist and if we quote a patient a fee, we honor that price no matter what. Countryside does not. When I voiced my complaint to Alison, who is the manager for the small animal office, all I got was a thick apology but they did not honor my quote. Very disappointed. Now Ive got to find another vet. My trust in them is shot.I will definitely be sharing my experience with others so they dont have this happen to them.

The vets at Countryside are the absolute best. I oversee nearly 50 horses at our boarding facility and countryside is who I trust to care for them. Their commitment to giving my horses the best care is why they are the ONLYvets we use. No injury is to critical, no concern is to small. They have always been there for me to answer any questions and helped me to provide the absolute best care for all of my horses. Dr. Carter and his team are the reason why a few of my best horses have survived some life threatening injuries and are thriving today. I can not say enough good things about Countryside. Nor can I thank them enough for all that they have done and continue to do for the horses at Pine Lane Farm.

We cannot say enough great things about Countryside. They treated our sick beagle over the last month and were absolutely wonderful at every single visit. Even though we had to say goodbye to our little dog the staff was always caring and compassionate with our treatments which were multiple times per week. Dr Green is an absolute angel. She went over and above from taking extra time in the office visits, answering our calls when we had questions, and making certain we had all facts and medical options available for our pet. When my wife would tear up, Dr Green was there to give her a hug and offer reassurance. That may not seem like a big deal, but it speaks volumes about the importance of personal touch and how much she cares about the animals and pet owners alike. You wont find better care for your pet anywhere. We wont take our pets anywhere but Countryside.

Ive gone to country side twice this month and both have been positive experiences. The first time i went to see Dr. Stancil who is now my primary vet and she treats my baby as if hes the only one she sees. The second time was an emergency visit and they were able to see my dog in the morning. Dr. Green was my vet for this visit because Dr. Stancil was in surgery at the time. I was impressed with the communication that Dr. Green had with my vet. I would highly recommend this place. The receptionists are phenomenal as well.

Do not recommend this clinic. Not only did they cause one of my dogs to be terminally ill (cushings disease), the neglect and lack of care or concern when my horse suffered a life-ending injury was beyond disheartening. No follow up, no call backs, nothing.I had to call in another vet to finally put my horse down. I have filed complaints against Countryside and still only one follow up phone call that consisted of them calling me a liar. Will never use this vet again. Not to mention 6 months later I received a reminder card in regards to my deceased horse! You would think they would have the decency to remove a deceased animal from their records, or at least label it as such. But this is the same clinic that falsified medical records to an insurance company, need I say more.

My horse was “out of sorts” and grumpy but otherwise appeared the picture of health. Shiny coat, good weight, great appetite, no girthiness, playful in the pasture. Over time he gradually became more and more disgruntled and stubborn, under saddle and in hand. We had him scoped for ulcers at Countryside Equine Vets. The scope revealed he had multiple ulcers ranging from grade 1 - 2. Dr. Carter recommended one month treatment with IM omeprazole injections. My horse healed and he is again a pleasure to work with and to ride. No stopping, no planting, wonderful outlook. Thanks to Dr. Carter and staff I have my horse back.

My 1st experience with Countryside Veterinary Services was 5 days ago. After driving over an hour to get there, I was extremely pleased with Dr. Fullers expertise, care, time and attention to detail. Unfortunately I received some bad news, but I was grateful for the information his diagnostic skills and lab choices revealed. I have been watching my 8yo Euro Boxer die for the last year. The last words of my previous vet a year ago were, give him home IVs to make him comfortable until he dies. I cant help but wonder what kind of condition Quba would be in today if I had seen Dr. Fuller a year ago. I cancelled my appointment at UGA (only recently found out they treat small animals) with full confidence in Countryside. My daughter referred me to Countryside, very pleased with her experience with Dr. Carter. He figured things out about her 8yo warm blood dressage horse that a dozen vets prior couldnt. She lost 3 years of training, but is so grateful to feel like shes back on track with Deakins training.

My 6 lb. yorkie was spayed at this clinic. a careless vet tech left her sedated on a heating pad set to high after surgery. The pad left a distinct coil pattern of 3rd degree burns on her side. He obviously did not check on her condition for a very long time. That was bad. very bad but even worse is that the owner-vet tried to tell me the dog was bitten. really? an interesting bite that raises a coil-shaped 3rd degree burn while she is sedated in your care. She was treated for the burn by Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Sandy Springs who confirmed the burn and likely source (evidently this is not unheard of in vet clinics. new technology is available, however and Countryside wasnt in that loop). I asked the vet for nothing except an apology and to instruct, in my presence and with my injured dog with me, to bring his tech in to show him what can happen when you allow yourself to get distracted. The vet finally agreed, reluctantly, but likely only to prevent a lawsuit, which he certainly deserved. He never offered any monetary compensation. I asked for nothing but admission and instruction. Disgusting people.

My sweet bunny was diagnosed at another vet with a brain tumor just 2 days ago...shs explained that in rabbits the condition appears quickly and rapidly takes its toll in rabbits.....unlike dogs and cats that take longer for both signs, symptoms and decline. My bunny decreased drastically today....hour by hour. At 4;30 He started this weezing, whining sound and breathing really hard. I knew by morning I would surely have to say my goodbyes. Within 90 minutes it was unbareable and I started calling emergency clinics. Loganville emergency clinic FOR ANIMALS said they did not see rabbits.....I was too upset to drive to Buford or the other side of Lawrenceville and I had a horrible experience at the animal ER in Covington....in my Google search I found Countryside that I had used years ago with my horses when I lived in Oxford....it was now 6:30 and they closed at 7 ....which is nice in itself. I explaned the situation to the very nice lady that answered she said she would ask the doctor...( since the bunny had not been treated there) ....sure enough...she came back to the phone and said bring the bunny in and it would be $55. The staff was nice, the doctor was gentle and compassionate....when the friend that drove me went to pay for me....they refused payment!!!! We asked if we could make a donation and the doctor said that would be nice as they try to work with people that have to bring an animal in and they dont have any money to pay.....kudos and God bless these people that helped us in a time of need....for nothing!! There is still a lot of good people in America!! Thank you to everyone at Countryside for making my horrible time more comfortable. You are good people!!
