Im absolutely embarrassed. I scheduled an appointment to have my hair done and when I arrive she had scheduled someone else the same time as me. Which no big deal it’s whatever until it pushed my hair appointment back 4 hours. My hair was not parted into section before the braiding started she just picked out hair as she went. I asked for medium blonde box braid even showed her a picture, she said hair provided I get there and she doesn’t have enough hair. The day after getting my hair done my braids felt a bit lose like I’ve had them done for a month. Couple days pass all the braid in the back of my head are slowly coming out and one of the braids on the side of my head fell out. At this point I wanted to cry. I paid 180 dollars and 12 hours of my time. Lesson learned never again. Although she is a nice person she needs a lot more practice. Her work is not professional.

My fiancé needed a cut before work, it was a walk in. Unfortunately their hours on the door are not correct. They don’t open at 8AM, I sat 20 minutes waiting, thinking maybe someones just running late.After about 10 minutes, I called Ryan (The last listed number on the door) & was told that he doesn’t get in until 10AM and hes available 7 days a week. The other number didn’t call back.Also, we were there yesterday which was Monday and they only take appointments that day. On google it says they’re open, and available for walk ins.

The dude openly admitted to guessing on my hair and ruined what took me around 5 years to grow. If he couldn’t do the cut he should of told me off rip but they don’t care they just want your money

I took my 14 year old son here the other day for a much needed professional haircut for the first time. I called the afternoon before, and it was an appointment only day, so they were already booked. I took that as a good sign, so we waited until the next morning and was able to walk-in first thing at 8am. I believe certain days are reserved for appointments only, so if youre new & planning on doing a walk-in, you might want to call and check their schedule first. When we got there, the owner (Reginald England) greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. He was VERY personable, immediately made my son feel comfortable, and I should probably mention his appearance. Me personally... I think the appearance of the person Im paying money to, to enhance my sons appearance, is VERY important. It shows a certain level of dedication & passion towards the work they do. The owners hair was long & beautiful, was lined up perfectly, braids were flawless, & he was kempt head to toe. It sets a great example for the kids to be around someone like that. The shop itself was immaculate. My son was very unsure about how he wanted his hair done so he was pretty nervous at first. It didnt take but a second for Reginald to sense this, & to ask him a few questions about his hair & say can you just trust me? & then had them both laughing. Besides hair, I found out that Reginald is also very active with the kids in this community. He organizes a flag football event intended to strengthen neighborhood bonds between the kids and the police. Something that I feel is very important for the kids of Covington. That alone says a lot about a person.My son told me as soon as we walked out the door that he REALLY liked that guy, & were definitely coming back next time. His hair was perfectly lined up and he was more than happy!! That makes momma happy!!If youre looking for a new barber or if you just happen to be in town, I definitely recommend stopping by Hair On The Floor Barbershop!!(Also, I saw another review complaining about the barber answering his personal calls and Id like to add what I witnessed. This is a small buisness. At the time we were there, he was the only one there. His cell phone IS the shop phone. He did answer the phone a couple times but made it VERY quick and told the caller he was with a client. These were not personal calls from what I heard. It didnt matter if they were really, because he was very professional about it with us. Id rather pay less for a haircut, than pay more because he has to hire a secretary just to answer the phone. This wasnt even on my radar until I saw someone else comment on it. Also I am only speaking of my experience with the owner, Reginald)My visit here was so good I went back a few days later to take pics just to write this review. At that time there were 2 other barbers there cutting hair at chairs sitting on each side of the owners. Making it 3 total cutting hair that day.

Dude here named d.j. cuts my hair exactly how i like a high bald fade he gave me his card so i always know when hes there the price of the cut was 25 bux and i gave a 5 dollar tip he uses a strait razor and really does a fantastic job location was really clean and orderly they was busy wich ahiws all 3 if the barbers working that day can cut well.

Thats someplace to shave you up and get a haircut always a great conversation.

Took my son (5 yr old) here for a haircut today and they did a fantastic job. Great employees that really have a fabulous demeanor with kids. My son was very comfortable the entire time and his hair turned out exactly the way we had picked out. They have some great posters where you can just point to which look you want. Nice upbeat music. Toys and video game console to use while waiting. There was a bit of a wait but everybody was friendly and there was plenty to keep us entertained while waiting. We’d definitely recommend.

My husbands and sons were in a desperate need for a haircut, and we were out of town so we didnt know were to go. We found hair on the floor and let me tell you how amazing this barbershop was. I originally live in Atlanta and Ive never found a barber shop as good as this one. From the hair cuts to the barbers I dont know which one is better. The barbers are very welcoming and they have amazing personalities just making this place even better. Wow!!! What an amazing place.

Ive been going to this barbershop for about 3 years now. England and Ryan do a great job with all ages and styles of hair. Ive never had an issue with walking in and getting a hair cut. Word to the wise: they get really busy on Saturdays, so get there early.

So I come to this shop for the first time and I was not pleased. Firstly, Reggie had the audacity to make the statement I hate to say this about our clientel but we could mess them up and theyll be back the next week. What kind of businessman disrespects their entire clientel in front of a new customer? Second, I have scabs all along my hair line from him which is a problem I have NEVER had before. Thirdly, my line up on my forehead looks like the man used a paper plate as a guide because it is far from straight. And to end with a happy fourth, I ask the man to get my face together ( for an up charge of 5$) and he only used clippers to shape the bottom of my mustache and the top of my goatee, SOMETHING I COULD HAVE DONE. I shouldve just took that 5 to Wendys and got a 4 for 4 at $4.24. Here I am, a new face, trying to get hooked up and dude couldnt get me together with the cream and blade!?! What he did is barely worth a nickel to cover the electricity used. This man does not understand the culture behind being a barber, that being every cut being an accurate representation of the skills of the barber, respecting the customer, and quality period. Reggie if you wasnt going to give your best I wouldve rather you told me you were closing for the day. I could somewhat understand if I came in the shop last minute....but I gave more than enough time to get the job done without being pressed for time. Now looking at the other reviews I see, Reggie clearly is not this poor skill wise and I feel disappointed I couldnt get the same treatment half of these other folks have. I wont be back-salty customer

Red always gets my sons hair together! He is so good with kids. Music is great here, they even have a game system to play while you wait. Yes, there is always a wait.

Great people and great service, punctuality is a big thing here but they make exceptions under understandable circumstances just leave your bad kids at home or have them under control unless you want to pay an extra 30 for their rambunctious attitudes.
