New patient /first visit. The wait time was 20 minutes in the lobby. The doctor was very attentive, answered questions, and asked questions. We talked about the different medications and dozing. I read many reviews that this doctor does not over-medicate. That is accurate. The doctor will review improvement in 2 weeks and adjust medication if needed. Zoom and phone appointments are available for follow up that are not for prescription refill. At the end of the appointment, he talked about hope and achieving wellness. Im happy with the experience.

I went to Dr. G for about 4 years up until I recently switched. Honeslty made a world of difference. First of all, he kept my mom in the room. Obviously I do not feel comfortable disclosing much information around my mother. He would ask the most basic questions: do you feel anxiety, do you feel sad, how is your sleep, etc. and he literally put me on the most basic anti depressant, at a very high dose (when I was 14!!). I literally hated it it made me feel so numb. That man did not know my name, clearly did not remember me, and knew nothing about my situation because 1) my mom was in the room and 2) he didnt ask.Dr. G is probably your best bet if you want a quick and easy plug for concerta or something because hell probably just ask you like 2 questions and give you a super high dose.I recently switched to a new psychiatrist and not only has she helped me get a BPD diagnosis, we talked for about an hour getting to know me / what Ive been through to try and get the most specific and suitable medication possible. When I told her what dose I was on zoloft from when I went to Dr. G she said that the dose shouldve only been used if absolutely nothing else was working because Im so young. She gave me a new anti depressant on a much lower dose, and some take as needed meds. She actually knows what I need and what will help, she doesnt just write off the most basic anti depressant for a teenager at the highest dose.

I was a patient of dr guntapalli for about 6 months in 2014 or 2015. i was 14 and already very severely bipolar, having rapid cycling violent manic episodes. dr guntapalli kept me on the meds that clearly werent working for me even at very high doses (which if i remember right he increased even more) and instead lectured me about how if im violent i will go to jail when i turned 18, rather than figuring out the root cause of my violent manic episodes, treating that, and being understanding and helpful. he offered me no help in ways to curb my mania making me violent, which you know, was not a choice, and was a mental disorder that a simple lecture cant fix. 0/10 would NOT recommend. horrible experience, perhaps the worst experience ive had with a psychiatric professional. id recommend dr. gade in sanmarino or dr red in pasadena instead.

1. Be prepared to wait 2 months for an appointment.2. Be prepared for staff to incorrectly and be negligent over insurance check and co payment.3. Be prepared for no reminder call.* I initially gave my insurance information at the time of my appointment. They checked and said was fine. After waiting 2 months , i called to double check over my appointment since i received no call. Again, front desk confirms insurance and co payment status. The following day was my appointment i showed up after getting the day off just for this visit to be turned away for my insurance? When they double checked. Unprofessional and i can only imagine they would of billed me later a ridiculous amount for no insurance coverage if i had seen the dr. And me being Unaware of the coverage.

I have been seeing Dr. Guntapalli for 3 years now. He has been very good to me since day one. He tried to understand everything and find the right medicine and life activities for me. It took a few trials to find the right combination that was right for me. This Dr. continues to care about my well being and makes sure even after a right combination was found. It is still working. I rate him 5 stars and would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a great psychiatrist. A big thank you to this doctor for saving me. My family and myself thank you everyday!

Ive been seeing Dr. Guntipalli for several years and he is the only person who has been able to help me. As a teenager, its hard to find doctors who are willing to help. He is and his office is very nice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Guntapali for over 15 years for Biopolar I Disorder. He has been instrumental in determining the best medication to address the disease. It’s not easy having a mental health disorder as a wife, mom, friend, professional educator; however, I am extremely grateful for Dr. Guntupalli’s kind demeanor, pleasant office atmosphere, expertise in the Psychiatric field and amazing staff!!!! He is by far one of the best psychiatric doctors in the Inland Empire!!
