This place is absolutely the best!! It saved me from my downward spiral. I graduated in September of 2019. After leaving they continued to check in on me. Clay has done amazing things for the Alumni program. They continue to show the sober way to live.

Brighton Recovery Center changed my life. The in residence treatment provided me with the support, therapy, and tools I needed in the first step of my recovery journey. The clinicians were amazing in helping me understand my thoughts and helped me address issues that were holding me back from moving forward. The support staff in residence was also professional and helpful. Brighton Recovery provided an aftercare program that helped me to transition back into day to day life with continued connection and support. The alumni program has also been amazing in continuing to offer guidance and support whenever I need it. I would recommend The Brighton Recovery Center to anyone facing addiction and/or mental health challenges.

Aftercare and community building is top notch. Facilities are fabulous. Love the place, love the people. If there were 10-star reviews, theyd get one from us.

I cant say enough good things about Brighton Recovery. The staff is excellent and the program is comprehensive and accessible. The grounds do create a space for healing and doing the very intense emotional work of beginning the recovery journey. So thankful for BR and what theyve done for my son and family.

I came to Brighton after struggling with my addiction for the past several years. After researching several different recovery centers I found one that mirrored my values as I sought out find sobriety. The last 30 days havent always been the easiest, but I am now capable of fighting for my sobriety with the tools I have assembled at Brighton. Its also reassuring to know that I have a strong support group at Brighton even after I leave that will continue to help me fight when I reach out for help.Thank you Brighton for all youve done for me and many yet to come.

Brighton recovery was the best experience I’ve ever had. This was a lot different than anything I’ve ever done before. There’s truly so much to say about Brighton and how it’s changed my life but it really has. While in there my therapist was MICKY and I we were able to get to the root of why I kept using. One of the things that we worked on was cognitive distortions. Garrett the Director is awesome and we worked On gender process and also healing the past. There’s a set daily schedule that we follow from 9 o’clock in the morning followed up with intentions at 8:30pm. One of my favorite classes was rec therapy with Will and Cecily and every Tuesday and Saturday we would go out and do climbing, the planetarium, ropes course and so much more. But there was always a lesson involved in something to learn about why we went there. One of the things that I was taught was about the paradigm shift that I had to make in order to have that change in my life. It really made me feel a part of the community and because of these two I’ve really grown strong to love and always looked forward to the classes. They really had a impact on my life. If medication needs to be prescribed They have an amazing doctor and med techs That were more than helpful. I know this is long winded but there’s just so much to say about how this program was unlike any others. The food was cuisine and personal chefs. There was absolutely nothing in this program that I didn’t like. The only thing I needed to do was to show up and be willing and everybody there taught me so much. The recovery doesn’t stop there the alumni coordinator‘s Clay and Brady put alumni events together that are a blast to go to. I believe there were more than 20 people at a mansion that was rented and we all played games and reunited. These two guys are very involved in continuing your recovery and that’s where it really counts is when you leave. Clay and Brady helped me to get involved And introduced me to other alumni’s which now I call friends. I have a wonderful aftercare plan and feel my sobriety is solid. One last thing I’d like to mention are the LT’s which means life techs. The techs Are always there if you need them. Getting sober isnt easy there are ups and downs and I have to say that the life techs have helped me just as equally to everyone else. If you’re Thinking Of which rehab to go to this is the one if you’re struggling and need Some help, please Believe me that this is the place. I hope to speak with you at one of our alumni events✌🏼

My experience at Brighton Recovery was incredible. I was treated like royalty, and the campus feels like a vacation home. The treatment though, was what was most impacting. Each therapist truly cares. As does every staff member. I would reccomend Brighton to my closest friends.

Brighton completely changed and saved my life in more ways than one. I did SO much research when looking for treatment and could not have been more blessed to find this place. Everyone that works there had a part in my recovery. My therapist got to the root of my issues, something I never thought could happen. Ive had so many therapists in my life and not one of them came close to doing what my therapist in Brighton did for me. I connected with her immediately and she became my comfort zone when things got really hard for me when I was finding out my issues and working through them. She knew exactly what I needed and had me do the work to build a stronger, more stable mental baseline. She gave me every tool I needed to help not only my drinking, but my daily life as well. I always thought that therapy “tools” were just some catch phrase but they’ve truly changed my mindset and how I deal with situations in everyday life both good and challenging. I think she’s a miracle worker but she’ll never take credit for it.On that note, the Recreation Therapist challenged me in a whole different way than I had ever been challenged. When I heard about Recreational Therapy I thought, ok, we’ll find out that we can have fun without alcohol or drugs. But wow does this guy take it to a whole new level! Yes we had a lot of fun but every activity had such an amazing lesson to go along with it. How he combined the two was so creative. So many “mind blown” experiences. He taught me it’s ok and necessary to slow down in order to speed up. He taught me the importance of a balanced life and had me dig into the underlying reasons of why certain things were important to me. He taught me that it really is possible to reprogram your brain and create a new narrative for yourself. I never really understood why that’s so important and why positive self talk plays such a vital role in how we run our lives, even in the smallest decisions we make. He does such an amazing job teaching how our thoughts become our actions. Then shows in such an understandable way on how we can re-wire our brains. He’s so passionate about his field and embodies the true meaning of what a Recreational Therapist should be. This is truly his unique calling. The therapist who ran IOP (Intensive Out Patient), is so passionate about what she does! Every lesson she gave was applicable to things we deal with in everyday life. She made me so comfortable in my own skin by her warmth, kindness, love and appreciation not just for me but for all of us in there. She has such a huge and empathetic heart and I live how passionate she is about the de-stigmatization of addiction and mental health. I learned so much in IOP and loved it for so many reasons. It was such a perfect way for me to transition as I re-integrated back into the real world.I wish I could go on about every person there! The other therapist and clinical director, the medical staff... I can’t say enough awesome things about all of them. They’re also super funny and fun to be around. I loved when they’d hang out with us or run our other groups. The life techs were also so friendly, full of knowledge, help and advice. I had so many awesome one on one talks with them. Normally you’d think someone working the desk or driving to meetings etc would be more like a clock puncher, but not these people. They’d hang out with us, laugh, joke around and to top it off, each of them gave me some strength when things got really hard for me.After Care and Alumni, the 2 guys that run that program are amazing! They’re such a blast to be around, plan the most fun activities and always make you feel included and keep you connected, which is imperative! They do it like none other! Plus there’s a weekly processing group that I can go to, even virtually for the rest of my life. It’s like free group therapy. I love it so much!
