I have been seeing the same dental assistant, Maria for years for my cleaning. She is gentle, thorough and sensitive to my needs. I completely trust her.

I have been going to this practice for about 25 years, plus. I made the mistake of going to another dentist and he almost killed me. This practice was willing to go to court with me in order to protect me, because they wanted to protect other people from a dentist who cannot identify a 10-centimeter abscess in the upper jaw. These guys did it with no problem whatsoever. These people are the best in Marin. If you value your teeth, go here. They will back you all the way, as well as taking the most brilliant care of your teeth you can imagine. They are the absolute best.We even came in under budget for the estimate. Now, that was a treat, and I walked out of there floating on clouds and as happy as a lark. Find a dentist who makes you feel like you just had a neck massage, I have!

The specific procedure was the start on a major whitening protocol in advance of more extensive work. The Dental Assistant was very professional and personable (which is true of all the staff I have encountered). She explained the process clearly and thoroughly, including demonstrating techniques. I am very satisfied so far.

I found the staff to be so friendly and extremely trained. Dr Sotehdeh loves what she does and is kind, knowledgable and helps you understand what is going on with your oral needs. I went to Dr. Schmotter on 1/31/19 for a second opinion about an expensive procedure proposed by another Marin County dentist. Dr. Schmotter, who could probably have gotten the business by being a little less expensive, instead said that nothing really needed to be done at this time. Wow.
