It was my first time visited this office, AND I wont go there anymore.That is it.- So many extra charges that I dont understand- Overall, Not happy with them

How long a crown supposed to last? the one I got here very expensive and its didnt last came off the lingual side. After this Im going with endodontist.

Poor customer service. We were pleased with when we joined a year ago but now we realise they just want your money. My wife works and thought they would be good for appointments that fitted in with her work schedule but alas that is not the case. I am now happy going back to my dentist in the UK that I can trust.

What used to take 2 visits at the old-fashioned dentist now takes less than 2 hours and is based on the idea of keeping as much of your own tooth as possible. Marin Advanced Dental uses cutting edge technology that doesn’t cost more but gives better results. In the old days, if a tooth was cracked in a way that could compromise the tooth and eventually lead to root canal, the old-fashioned dentist would file it all the way down to a point, put on an ugly temporary cap, and have you come back in two weeks for the real one. Instead, using hi tech imaging, a jacket is custom created right in the office and applied to the compromised areas of the tooth, leaving the healthy parts of your original tooth intact. WAY BETTER!

I started with Dr. Smidas about three years ago, having numerous dental issues. I have found the Dr. to be very caring and forthright. A plan is always formulated with prices and options. The staff is always all about your comfort and convenience and their number 1 priority. Another bonus to the great service is the high tech gadgets that 3D model your teeth then spit out crowns and implants while you wait, so no return trip necessary. All in all making going to the dentist not seem like going to the dentist!

This place was amazing! I loved how I only say in the waiting room for less than 1 minute. Most places have you waiting for awhile. The staff is super friendly and they are all highly knowledgeable. The amount of tech in this office would make Elon Musk jealous. Great experience and will definitely be back for more work!

Ive really enjoyed being a patient at Marin Advanced Dental. The staff has been nothing but kind, informative and thorough. Im moving out of state soon and I never thought Id be sad to lose a dentist, but I am. If Im ever in the area again Ill be back!

His team is a truly good, talented, caring and compassionate group of people. They really are there to help you take care of your mouth and teeth and they keep up with the latest research and technology. Not so they can make money but so that they can use the best possible tools and techniques to make your experience as positive as possible. I can tell they really like what they do and want to help people. The facility is clean, cool and convenient. All the hygienists are great. Front desk is responsive and detail oriented. Dr Brewer and Dr Smida are genuinely nice people who are really good at what they do and I say that as someone who has had fillings, a partial crown and many cleanings by various hygienists so Ive had enough experiences to feel like I can speak to the consistently excellent care. Everything Ive had done here has been easy and as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can possibly be. Stop looking. Youve found your unicorn a.k.a your dentist for life.

I had no idea dentistry has progressed so much. Digital x-rays was nothing compared to the real time cameras and decay meters I had in my mouth! and that was just for a cleaning! No second guessing here. Super thorough! The staff was friendly, supportive of my teeth brushing habits (or lack of), and professional. So happy I made the switch!

My experience at Dr. Smidas office is always fantastic. He is the most professional Dentist I have ever been a patient of in my entire life ( taking into consideration that I was a patient of many doctors in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC where I lived for 20 years before I moved in to Marin).That includes not only addressing the issues and diagnosing the problem but also the most advanced equipment in his office that makes things super accurate, quick and very comfortable for the patient.Also very nice office setup, super professional, nice and always there for you staff makes the entire experience one of a kind. Dr. Smida is simply the best!!!!!

This place is amazing. The staff is awesome, and the technology they use is like nothing Ive ever seen. I broke a crown, and they worked me in the next day. Dr. Smida took what was left of the old one off, scanned my mouth, and I watched as the computer drew a picture of my crown. They made it right there in the office and put it on in the same day. No goopy impression. No temporary. No extra visit. I highly recommend this office.

I thought the care I received at the consultation was topnotch. However, when I called to make my appointments, the person I spoke with was abrasive. When I asked for all of my images (they were very comprehensive), I received only 4 partial x-ray images. I then sent multiple emails asking for the rest of the images with no response. After the experience and price review, I decided to get a second opinion. While I was at the 2nd dentist, they called for my images. The person at MADC said she would get to when she got to it and said they hadnt done a panoramic image, which they did. They were so rude to the new dental office person, I apologized. I still have no received all of my images.

Marin advanced dental has been the best dental service I have ever received. Dr. Smidas professionalism and advanced technology allowed for a full tooth replacement that looks better than the tooth that I lost. The receptionist are friendly and willing to work around your schedual. 10/10

I am a relatively new patient of Dr Smida, I am very happy with the care and impressed with how well the office functions. The whole staff is very professional.Dr Smida has done several procedures on my teeth and all have been very thorough and with minimal discomfort to me. I would recommend Dr. Smida.

I was at California for a one month trip, but immediately I got tooth ache (probably because of long flight). Dr. Smida treated my root canals very efficiently, and I havent had any problems with my teeth since.

I have been the patient of Dr. Smida all the way back to when he first opened his practice in Tiburon over 12 years ago. He is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever seen and that is saying a lot as I am one of the unfortunate souls born with very bad teeth. I have bridges, implants, crowns, root canals, bone grafts - you name it. I have a lot of cumulative trauma from all that work and would normally have to be sedated - I am now able to visit Dr. Smida and not even get Nitrous which is a huge deal for me. His staff is incredible - from the office to the dental techs, they all know their stuff and deliver quality every time. I am impressed how well the entire practice runs and with his state of the art technology the entire process is as smooth as it can get and quality driven every time. There is a lot of pride in the office and well deserved but best of all Dr. Smida puts you at ease and is a genuine, kind soul. I can not recommend them enough. I am sure grateful to be their patient!

I recently switched dental offices and had been going to the same office for over 25 years so I was not looking forward to changing dentists. A family member referred me to Marin Advanced Dental Care and Dr Smida’s office. Upon my first visit and consultation I was very impressed with the state of the art facility and very kind and professional staff members. Dr Smida met with me and we developed a new treatment plan for me. We scheduled to extract my four wisdom teeth and at first I was very nervous and scared. The whole process couldn’t have gone any smoother thanks to Dr. Smida and his incredible team! During the procedure I felt no pain or discomfort what so ever. Dr. Smida is empathetic and gentle with his work. The next day it barely felt like I even had an oral surgery procedure done at all. I will be continuing to get all my future dental work done at Marin Advanced Dental and will be highly recommending Marin Adanced Dental to all friends, family and coworkers.

Dr. Baumgartner is the best! I was lucky enough to find her when she was working in Los Angeles. I was sad when she moved up north, but fortunately I have enough friends in the Bay Area that I am able to visit frequently. When you find a dentist of this caliber, youre willing to travel ~400 miles!For as long as I can remember, dentists have commended me on how well I take care of my teeth. A number of years ago I visited a dentist that was advocating a lot of very expensive work. I knew I needed a second opinion, and thats when I found Dr. Baumgartner. Back then, she said the work was completely unnecessary, and thats when I knew I had lucked out and found a great dentist.Unfortunately on this trip my streak of perfect oral health came to an end. I had a couple small areas where Dr. Baumgartner advised some proactive measures. She rubbed some gel on my gums so I wouldnt feel the novocaine injection, and we were off to the races. After the fillings were in place, we did some bite tests and felt the surfaces to check smoothness. Another round of smoothing with a fine drill, and I was set to go. Zero pain throughout the entire procedure, and I walked out not even being able to tell where the work had been done (either by site or by bite).The staff is also super friendly and very helpful. They walked me through all the forms I needed for insurance, and also contacted the previous dental office to get my old records so I didnt have to undergo any additional x-rays. And to cap it all off, the office is in a pretty picturesque area with a couple families of ducks living in the adjacent creek. Nice way to end your visit!If you need a dentist, look no further. Dr. Baumgartner just might be the best dentist in California.

I received one of the best teeth cleanings ever from Kim. She was very knowledgable, gentle, and personable; and she gave me some helpful advice for taking good care of my teeth/gums. My appointment with Dr. Smida was for a few fillings, and to make some adjustments to another tooth. He was very skilled, gentle, focused, and caring. I could relax, knowing that my mouth was in good hands...He did an excellent job! The staff is kind and helpful.. I am so happy to have found Dr. Smida and his staff.5 stars plus for Greenbrae Dental!
