Never let her patients know she was leaving. Just up and left without a trace. No time to find another endo, no email even tho there is a patient portal to communicate directly to your patients, nothing just ghosted out. When you feel like you know more than the doctor your seeing.........

Dr. Silva was associated with Pinnacle Medical Group with which I have been a patient for three years. I was referred to her due to an extremely worsening diabetes condition.In April I was given an initial appointment for August. When alerted my primary physician learned of the long wait he stepped in and the appointment was updated to May. I waited 5 weeks and then received a phone call stating that Dr. Silva was leaving the practice and that I should look for another doctor. No explanation. No offer to fold me into her new practice. No assistance in locating a new doctor. Just get lost - drop dead.The notice came from her assistant who, at the time refused to even tell me who she worked for then complained that I was upset. Like she was the victim. What a disgrace. The level of disregard here for the welfare of the patients is a an all time high.Unless she was asked to leave by practice management she had to be aware of her intent to leave when she accepted my appointment. Therefore, I lost five weeks in seeking treatment due to her refusal to disclose her anticipated departure. Ill never know how competent a doctor she is, but the handling of this matter marks Dr. Silva as uncaring, insensitive and arrogant.
