This place is the best - yes I know Im reviewing a dental practice (lol). Doctor Denis has done excellent work on my teeth for eight years: pulling all four wisdom teeth that were causing me pain and inflammation, and filling I think twelve cavities over this period (Ive had a lot of trouble taking care of my teeth).Not only is the dentist qualified, but she has an infectiously positive vibe, and shes really good at making you feel comfortable - even with a drill in your tooth ^.^The whole staff seems to have this vibe, from the man working the front desk (James) to the dental hygienists. They make you feel like youre a person - someone they care to associate with - instead of just a name on a list.They have a comfortable office with relaxing music. What more can I say? I trust this place with my teeth, and will continuing to do so as long as theyre in business and Im in the area.

I am a recent Florida transplant so I was looking for a new dentist that I can trust and stay with for years to come. I visited a different dental facility in the fall of 2019 and was completely unimpressed and turned off by the way they managed their practice.Dr. Deniss office was a complete 180 from that prior experience! Rafael was completely amazing - super precise and meticulous with how he cleans! He was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire cleaning. Dr. Denis was so refreshing - very upbeat, personable, and explained things so her patients understand and feel comfortable; I absolutely love her bedside manner. I am so so glad I found this office! Not only is it right around the corner from my house, but I am so much more comfortable visiting here. You have found a new lifelong patient!

My experience was awesome. I went in for a couple fillings and a routine cleaning. The staff is very friendly starting with James who greeted me as always once I walked through the door. My hygienist by the name of Raphael took his time and ensured I was comfortable and pain free during my cleaning. If u are looking for 5 star service from a dentist I would definitely recommend Modern Smile!

Dr. Denis and her staff saved my life by protecting my self-esteem. I had a freak accident in 2015 that required the intervention of 3 different doctors simultaneously. You should reconsider whom you have as your receptionist as Michelle is very unprofessional and rude. You lost a potential client because of the way she addressed me on the phone and especially in person(attitude as soon as I came in and arguing with the customer) that’s NOT how you treat a customer. I came from out of town to get work done because your office was highly recommended, but unfortunately the way she treated me (which first impressions are everything) has lost you a potential customer.

Completely lied about the cleaning being my free one for the year. Also they had assured me my assurance would fully cover me as they were a dentist in my network... Then once the bill came, I get the bill which shows me it is over $700 because they were indeed not in my network. Even though he had told me the opposite before procedures. Bottom line is they are liars and will say anything just to take your money which is sad.. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Very unprofessional and condescending towards their employees. Lack of insurance for accidents or incidents.. dont slip and fall in there. God forbid something breaks do to an accident, they may blame you!!! Buyer beware

I have anxiety when I go to the dentist because my body doesn’t like anesthesia so much. This stuff waits for me every appointment with the most kind attitude you can expect, they check on me many times, offer me a blanket, called my hubby to sit next to me and hold my hand. Doctor Dennis and her assistants are so lovely. She explains every detail and performs the best work on me, very knowledgeable and make you feel safe, she is great with my kids too.Very recommended, it’s also a beautiful place with great environment, including their music :)

I had my teeth cleaning appointment booked at 4:30 since March. On the day of my appointment they called asking if I could come in 20 minutes early, I said no problem. Couple hours go by and they call me back asking if I could come in at 3:45, I said I cannot because I don’t leave work until 4pm, so she’s like okay, 4:10 is still good. I get there on time and 30 minutes roll by without any explanation. So I get up Around 4:45 and say I have to reschedule and she is just carefree and says okay but the next opening is August 17th...wow. I would of been fine if she said sorry, the patient he’s working on now required extra work etc. Did not care one bit if I walked out without saying anything.

From the time I called for an appointment.to the time I walked out after the appointment, everyone I spoke or interacted with were pleasant and professional. Respect and care for my comfort was obviously at the top of the list of priorities.Dr Denis proved to be both very professional and engaging. I entered the office with an abscess that was well infected and 3 teeth that needed to be removed. She took the time to ensure that my pain was under control prior to beginning the porcedure and once it was she smoothly removed the teeth and treated the infection. I will return for future dental needs without hesitation. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Denis and her staff for the care they provide.M.Smith

This place is not what they appear to be, a month ago I had to cancel an appt. and a week or two later I received a check from my Insurance for the difference I supposedly had paid for services (i did not do). Surely I called the Insurance because this had to be a mistake, only to be told that these people submitted a claim for cleaning, x-Rays etc..... I called the dentist and only to be greeted by a male person who tried to justify their actions by saying because I did not cancel in 48 hours (instead of the 24hrs I cancelled) their policy is to charge in full for services.As someone who works in the Health Industry and deal with many HBMs this is the highest level of fraud I have stumbled upon...….. Usually when a Patient cancels, your first course of action is to get that patient back on the books and through your doors, but not these people...… Well My course of action after being a patient there for over a year is to let others know what they are about, make sure that my family member (who referred me) does not go back and also my daughter who was a new Patient. They have lost an entire Family because they care less about me the patient and more about swindling folks.

The best experience ever at the dentist.Very nice and professional staff. They took the time to listen to my needs. This was my first experience there, I was a new patient.My appointment was at 11am and I was already seating at 11 and doing X-rays before they started the cleaning to make sure everything was fine.The cleaning was painless from the beginning to the end.The little plus is that the very kind Lady (Patty) who did the cleaning heard that I was French, she put French music on her phone and started to sing with me (with the few words in French she knew) to relax me and make this experience so wonderful.I will keep going there and even refer this place to my friends and family.If I could give 10 stars I will.Thank you very much.

I went to Dr. Scott for quite some time, then they bought his practice when he retired. I could not be more pleased with the dentists and hygienists. The work they so is outstanding. I have referred several friends to them and they are equally pleased.

My appointment for a cleaning went very well. My teeth feel a lot better, although I have a few more to go. Patty was so wonderful l, very sweet and gave me a lot of insight about my teeth that other dental offices didnt. I cant remember her name but the doctor was very sweet also and gave a lot of information about whats going on with my teeth and eventually will have a discussion on the next steps. I’ve never trusted the dentist. However, my visits has been so great and welcoming. The staff are polite and professional. I always leave with a smile. Most importantly I love the atmosphere and it’s a black owned business. I embrace women in business.

The dentist here are very patient and great with my children. My daughter was very scared and kept asking the same questions over and over and the dentist patiently explained things to her over and over. It was very impressive that he would take the time to do that and not blow her off because she’s a child. I’m very happy with the way we are treated here. And they do excellent work as well. Excellent dentist.

I finally found a great dental office with a super friendly staff. I hate filling out a bunch of forms for 15-20 before my Dr.s appointments so really liked the system they use because Its quick and easy. I cannot recommend Dr. Denis and her absolutely amazing staff enough! I went in, terrified, to begin the process of getting an implant.. We traveled 400 miles round trip for an appointment with me and my wife. They were unprepared for my wife’s work and Dr. Denis made excuses instead of apologizing. I responded to 2 confirmation emails and called the day before. It cost us $300 for a room that excepts pets. Enough! I have asked for my money back...over $8000 for 3 implants and all that was done is 3 teeth extracted

I have been a patient of Dr. Denis since 2016 and she is the best dentist I have been to thus far. I must admit I had a really bad phobia about going to the dentist but Dr. Denis always makes me very comfortable and she thoroughly explains everything. The front desk staff is always pleasant and professional. I was in severe pain from an upper right molar and was able to get an emergency evening appointment right away. I left the office pain free and scheduled a next day appointment for an extraction. I have relocated more South but I refuse to change dentist office. I will drive to Dr. Denis without hesitation. Dr. Denis is sincere, caring and her passion for dentistry is why I would highly recommend her.

Modern Smile Dentistry under-promises and over-delivers (which is RARE nowadays)! Was told by another well known dentist with old school equipment that I needed a crown plus 2 old cavity fillings fixed. I left and found Dr Tamisha Denis @ Modern Smile. I told her I was suspicious and she confirmed it. Nope, I only needed a crown.Not only did she save me $700 (which she could have easily taken me for) but she fitted my crown perfectly! Like better than my original tooth. (I thought I was a perfectionist but she takes the cake.)Her staff was quick, painless, caring, and digital x-rays took 2 seconds. That was the 1st time I never felt the novacain needle go in. Excellent job!NOTE: I had this work done over a year ago and still no problems (and no old filling issues).
