Dont ever go here. The doctor is not what I expected and the staff was the worse thing about this office. I remember when I walked in no one greeted me or even spoke to me until I approached the desk for the 3 time.I got tired of waiting after the 2 hour so I left. They later called me to see if I wanted to reschedule and when I told them about how upset I was about having to wait they didnt care at all. She said it was because it was a busy office and the doctor was wanted by other patients. Yeah right! What kind of excuse is that? They could use a more professional staff.

One of the worst doctors offices I have ever been to. The doctor was highly unprofessional and very quick to want to finish his consultation with me. I was barley able to ask the doctor all the questions I had. I would never go to see him again. As I was leaving there was an older gentleman who worked there who was just saying the dirtiest most unprofessional jokes I’ve ever heard in an office setting. Very low class and unprofessional and I am so disappointed that anyone would run an office this way. Never going back! I gave one star because a negative star was not an option.

I just referred someone to this cardiologist and was informed, to my surprise, that there were negative comments about this particular physician. My mother, Agustina Tapanes has been his patient in excess of ten years. She is a definitely a high maintenance patient due to all her debilitating illnesses. I always accompany her to appointments. Not only is he super punctual (not Cuban time), but extremely thorough. He does not vacillate when it comes to referring his patients to specialists and has staff on duty answering all emergencies around the clock. In fact, I don’t believe his office closed during the pandemic crisis. His staff is not rude, just very busy. No messing around there, from handing out appointments, getting referrals approved for services, requesting refills, etc. Dr. Sabates is a reputable cardiologist who works alongside a group of highly experienced medical assistants. I thank all of them for keeping my mom out of the hospital. Yes, he is ocd when it comes to cleanliness. You can eat off the floor in his office.

This place is impossible the phone rings and rings and no one ever answers. When someone finally answered they hung up on me after being on hold for 15 minutes. Besides that the woman that answered the phone was very rude. On several occasions of visiting the office I noticed employees arguing with one another loudly and a male employee also being very loud and disrespectful to another woman employee. The only reason I continue returning to this office is because the doctor is so amazing.It is such a shame that his office is ran by a pack of wild animals.

The post by Erica Gonzalez, Latifa Laquanda, Linda Lopez and Marialelejandra Rodriguez De La Cruz De Oriente is fraud. These people have never been to Dr. Carlos Sabates and I know who is behind this. Its peculiar that the Dr. got 3 bad reviews within the same hour.

He is a very good Person and excellent professional

Had my first visit with Dr. Sabates and I was very impressed. I plan on making him my primary care doctor. His staff provides outstanding follow up and very friendly. Great job!

This place is unprofessional, Not willing to help the patients or do their job, rude. I called to schedule an appointment to get a referral after being in the hospital for something serious to see a specialist. I called the office and said I needed an appointment right away and explained the situation. I went in the same day and saw the doctor. At that moment the doctor told me I didnt need to see him to get a referral. I then spoke to Sandra the girl whos ONLY in charge of referrals per her co-worker and Doctor who told me that they were having problems with referrals and this insurance. She told me to call member services, at member services they said nothing could be done for me, that if their was an issue with the doctor and the insurance that Sandra needed to call provider services. I called Sandra and told her what member services said and she said that she cannot and will not wait on hold with the insurance company for an hour to an hour and a half to get a referral approved for a patient. That the doctor was aware of her doing that and to change insurance company or PCP if I didnt like it. I told her that if that was the case that I should of been informed of the issue with that ins and referrals when I called in because the front desk knew I was only coming in for a referral and knew the insurance I had. I told her you guys were OK with seeing me for a consult and filling a claim to get paid but not call me insurance and give me a referral. I am currently on the phone with the insurance company provider services reporting them. Fraudulent office I will be reporting them to as many places as I can this is unlawful.

Never again.....waited 3 hours (yes,I had an appointment) and left.Actually , I have not been back in 3 years.....thanks for the Walk IN Clinic recommendation. Ive found a Primary Care Management Doctor who apparently has better time management skills.All the best.......as for any future patients......bring a big book for your wait.

Today I was in consultation with Doctor Carlos Sabates and as always my experience was VERY POSITIVE. I have known Doctor Sabates for more than 6 years and it insults me that a person is capable of writing -FALSE REVIEW- using false names of people who have never gone to the office. Doctor Sabates and his Staff have both received on many occasions the recognition of quality and excellence in the work of all the patients who are treated in the office and of health insurance. from the patients.If any person wishes to receive a respectful and kind treatment, they should visit this office. Doctor Sabates, besides being intelligent, is very human and treats his patients as if they were his own family.

Good morning. I took my parents to this office to see Dr. Sabates and everything was fine with the doctor until the one that was not for anyone was formed. I was sitting in the waiting room and we heard the voice of a man screaming with another person. The truth is that this disappointed me because it is a tremendous lack of professional etiquette. But I never go back to that office.
