I have been a patient at this office for more than 30 years. I can honestly say that the medical team at Primecare is extremely competent, bright, and kind. Dr. Rosen is a brilliant physician, with a witty personality. I really trust him and his team with my health care. Also, the office is in a great location and parking is easy to find. I highly recommend them.

I went to Primecare of Coral Gables yesterday for my first physical in over a decade. I was nervous and anxious, but as soon as I walked through their doors, I felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. Marta, Eric and Dr. Adam Rosen were knowledgeable, attentive and, most importantly, good people who took great care of me. I highly recommend Primecare, and will be using them exclusively moving forward.

Dr. Montes De Oca-Pineda is by far the best PCP That Ive had. She is always kind, beyond thorough and follows up on things that other Doctors have overlooked even after I voiced my concern. Great location in Coral Gables off Lejeune 42 nd Avenue. The office is always clean, staff is friendly and efficient. Shout out to her assistant Carlos, always kind and Ana , always has the referrals ready when you need it.

I highly recommend Primecare for those looking to for a new doctor. Being a physician myself, I know how difficult it is to provide quality patient care while at the same time pleasing patients. Everyone working at Primecare is excellent. They practice up-to-date medicine, wait-time is not an issue for those who are concerned, have great bedside manner, and provide a superb service. I am proud to call Dr. Rosen my PCP!

Horrible experience, I made 2 separate appointments and was never able to be seen by a doctor. You can not rely on these people if you have to see an actual doctor. Horrible experience from the girl downstairs to the waiting 30 minutes on hold to never coordinate a visit

I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. From the front desk, to the assistants, and the doctors -each and every one of them- are courteous, professional, and make always my visit as comfortable as they possibly can. The office manager is a rock-star! Coming here is like dealing with trusted family.

Disappointed as I have been to this office many times and always have to see the PA. They are always super busy and you have to wait a long time on the phone to speak to someone. I have been waiting for a referral for over a week now and the excuse is always “the system is down”. Just called again to check on an update and they hung up on me. I do not want this type of service when I pay a hefty price for healthcare coverage.

I have been associated with Primecare for a decade. Scheduled a well visit a month in advance. Waited 45 minutes and had several patients that arrived after me be seen before me. Find another group if you value your time.They dont.

My family doctor is dr. Carriquilla every time I need an appointment with him. My mother and I end up see his Ap Eric. Eric is great and wonderful professional doctor like Dr. Carriquilla. but we want to see my primary physical when we are feeling sick or in pain. When we are able to see him . he has no clue want wrong with us. Example last year my mother did her blood and x ray at Mount Sinai. The front desk ladys were talking who is going to eat what .instead of doing their job correctly making sure all doctors have the patient lab results in the patient chart. I called couple of days before my mother appointment to make sure her lab results and x ray were in her chart. But no they keep blaming the hospital never send the result. I called the hospital they gave the date and time when they send to Dr. carriquilla. The front incompetent make all doctor look bad. Nursing in the back are ok. But they need to make sure to put the correct medication on patient chart. Example I have a medication for stomach spasm Ive been taking for couple of years . its in tablet form the nurse made a mistake because she couldnt find it their system the tablet form. She put it as a liquid form.when I go to refill that medication the pharmacy gives four bottle of medication.

My doctor Jenny Montes de Oca and the staff are great but customer parking is nonexistent, because the entire building’s parking is restricted to staff only.I was even told by a pushy staff member (that should be minding their own business) out in the parking lot, to park in the street because the parking there is staff only.This occurred before 8 am when my car was the only one parked there. I told the staff member that I have to park somewhere and that they can tow my car if they want.My car was still there when I came out, so the tow away and staff only signs there are just for show. However, the upsetting experience screwed up my otherwise normal annual physical exam’s BP readings.I am hoping that Jenny will move to another office outside of Coral Gables, so I can be done with that place and its parking hassles.

I have never written a review for a clinic/doctors office, but I had to cause of Eric Gancedo A.R.N.P. My mother and I are both patients at this office and have seen other doctors but he truly does care about your health and provides courteous service. I always adored my PCP, Merja Clegg. She was sweet, professional, and caring. Easily my favorite PCP. She has since moved onto a different hospital for her practice and I hope the other doctor here is as great, even though hes a little more booked and look forward to my first appointment with him.

I really cant complain about the doctor that saw me last time. His name is Eric and was just fantastic about not making you feelLike another number, really listened and seemed to genuinely care about his clients and his profesión , which is difficultTo find these days. I really appreciate that so much and would recommend people there, except that the employees that answer the phone and schedule appointments are not at the same calibur and every time I call the office they immediately put me on the recoding and pick up the phone and transfer you all over again to the same recoding , which is typically another 10 min before they pick up the phone again and you can actually here a person on the other end of a line and not a recoding . This is extremely frustrating and this office will not be able to keep clients this way. I rarely ever write a bad review about any business because we all have our days, but when this is continuous, its not okay!

Prime Care of Coral Gables rates are AFFORDABLE.What is most important, however, to me, is that WHEN YOU NEED THEM MOST, PRIME CARE HITS A HOME RUN IN EXTRAORDINARILY EXCELLENT MEDICAL CARE.3 Examples:1. I have a major urological problem, and reached a crisis need for care. Dr. Carrasquilla referred me to, in my opinion, the best Urologist in Miami, Dr. Cosme Gomez.2. Have you ever been so sick you honestly thought you might soon die? This happened to me, a few years ago, with overpowering stomach pains, nausea, and loss of balance. Dr. Carrasquilla immediately diagnosed this as vertigo, gave me pills, and in 3 days I was forever cured!3. I recently had a hospitalization, and being only partly insured on Medicare Part A, did not receive highly important medical advice on how to recover my health at home. New Prime Care of Coral Gables nurse practitioner, Cuban doctor Eric Gancedo, essentially became SUPERMAN for me, including explaining what the hospital specialists failed to about my serious condition, and getting me the exercise device I MUST have at home to fully recover!!! The hospital specialists may have feared not being paid for my emergency admission, but their failure/refusal to give me necessary advice would have hurt me, but for Nurse Practitioner Gancedo stepping up to SAVE THE DAY! (I will finally be getting the Medicare Part B insurance in a few months).PRIME CARE OF CORAL GABLES IS THE LIFE-SAVER WE ALL PRAY FOR IN MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS!Sincerely,Jackson Rip Holmes

I have visited Dr. Montes de Oca in the past and the experience is always great, shes an incredible person and a top notch professional. My biggest complaint, is the lack commitment and customer service from some of the people they have working there.Its hard to satisfy every patient, and Im not the type of person nor have the time to write a review but Im so dissapointed that had to do it.The older lady that does the blood work got so upset at the fact that I wanted to do a full panel after my first blood work that made me not want to do anything at that point. She became so loud and rude that another lady did the other blood work. Whats another tube of blood? Really? Is my money worth less at this place?When I received my results I was supposed to receive my referral and it took two weeks and my phone call to get it. I was waiting and waiting to be able to see a specialist until I decided to call since my allergies were getting worst. Apparently the person in charge of the referrals forgot to send it.

Perhaps this is the standard with medical care in Miami but I had a preop clearance that i needed prior to meeting with my surgeon. I was assured that they would have it ready in time for the meeting and they didnt. Further no one returned my numerous calls. I called both the general number as well as the office manager. I also sent an email but nothing. Unfortunately there is little or not respect for the patient or the patient needs. Had i simply received one call back from either the office manager or the PA that assisted me I would have been ok but the dismissive attitude is unacceptable. I dont recommend.BTW still waiting for them to return my call or provide the information i need.

To echo the prior reviews, I would like to commend the staff at Primecare for providing the very best service and for their willingness to always assist me with my requests. I have had nothing but positive experiences lately and I would like to give a very special thank you to Gemma, Office Manager, who has done an amazing job in making the office what it is today. I also want to recognize Mayte, Dr. Carrasquillas assistant, who is beyond kind, professional and extremely efficient. If you are looking for quality, ethical physicians whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, look no further. This is the practice for you. Dr. Carrasquilla has been my primary care physician for many years and he is everything and more I could have hoped for in a medical practitioner.

Its practically impossible to see Dr. Ivan Carrasquilla as a new patient. Before choosing him as my primary, I was told by his staff I wouldnt have to wait one-month an half for a first visit. Once my card arrived and I was ready to schedule an appt, I have to wait about 44 days.UnitedHealthcare is possibly the worse insurance ever.

I have been going to Dr. Jeffrey Rosen for over 31 years ever since he and Dr. Silberman were a little sleepy, two man office on Biltmore Way. He (they) have provided me with ALL my medical care thru the years gynecological and broken bones. Dr. Rosen has been the most caring, complete health care professional Ive ever experienced. Altho his practice has grown tremendously and now also has a clinical trials division which he oversees he has never lost his personal touch (or dry sense of humor!) with his patients.Having everything self contained including x-rays, stress tests, lab work, etc. is a huge benefit to NOT having to run all over Miami to get it done. The staff is excellent and altho the phone system can be trying the phone isnt what interacts with us its the doctors and staff all of whom are excellent. I cannot recommend Prime Care and all its doctors and services enough. If youre looking for a primary care provider please consider Prime Care for all its benefits, services, compassion, care and attention to detail.

My doctor, Dr. Ivan Carrasquilla, is great. He listens to me attentively, and takes his time when talking and explaining things to me.

I havr been going to Primecare for over twenty years. I first started out with Dr. Silberman and as the years progressed would usually be seen by a PA or another doctor. They do labs in house, x-rays and ultrasounds along with diagnostics studies. They have always been professional and Teresa who works in the lab is amazing, I have always been a hard stick the worst and she has never had to pinch me more than once! There are some nurses that may come across as rude but overall the doctors make up for it with their bedside manner. Currently I see Dr. Clegg and she is magnificent! They moved last year to a office on Minorca they used to be on Alahambra and the parking now is much more challenging but well worth it! Currently Dr. Rosen is in charge of the pratice and he is equally caring of all patients. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. I live about 15 miles and would never even consider changing doctors!

Staff is rude and disrespectful to patients. They pick up the phone and tell you to hold without letting you speak, to leave you on hold for 20+minutes and never take the call. If you call again from another line, they do the same, so its impossible to speak with them.
