Sandra was incredible!! I went in for a balayage and a cut and got exactly what I wanted. Even with me not being able to speak Spanish Sandra got the exact color I wanted and even the perfect cut just by showing her a couple of pictures. The blonde she put in looks so natural and light and Im beyond impressed. They also served coffee and it was an extremely clean establishment. I would recommend.

Found this salon through a friend and I’m so glad I did! I completely transformed my hair with Steph who is so nice and welcoming, she also explained to me the whole process while going through it. Steph did such an amazing job on my hair, left it healthy and colored it just how I wanted. Lauren was also super sweet and helpful during the whole process. The salon in general is a really clean space and all the employees there are so nice! 100/10 recommend to everyone!

I have been going to Portfolio Salon for nearly 25 years. Lili is a master stylist. I always walk out of there feeling so much better - it instantly lifts my mood. My hair has changed a lot throughout the years - in my 20s wear and tear from the sun and beach, after children hair loss and vitamin deficiencies, now managing greys and yet, no matter what changes I go through, my hair always remains shiny and incredibly healthy. I attribute that to the quality of the products with outstanding color lines and maintenance products in addition to the care that Lili and her staff and other stylists take with every step of the process. I have, at one time or another, had my hair styled by most of the hairdressers there and I can honestly say that everyone is very talented. I have also had my other services there for many years, manicure, pedicure, waxing and Lili hires only the best individuals. Truly an elegant place; the salon is open and airy and you can see the attention to detail in the service and cleanliness of the salon. I sit back and enjoy a lovely tea with honey or a glass of wine and I can completely disconnect. I highly recommend Portfolio. I am thankful that they have also managed to survive the pandemic and also take extraordinary measures to ensure everyone is safe.

Ive had my highlights done by owner Lili and stylists Stephanie and Israel; all of their work goes unmatched. They are all so uniquely talented. I have also had my manicure and pedicure done by Miya and Consuelo. I appreciate their acute attention to detail, the vast color selection, and the personalized service they provide. Theres always great music playing and engaging fashion shows to view from the shampoo bowl, all to provide a cool, modern atmosphere. My entire family uses this salon; men and women, young and old. All equally as pleased with the service and end result as I always am. I recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

Wow all I can say is that I’ve been wasting my money in my previous salon the work they did on me comes no place near the job these people have done on me the service was exquisite and the owner lily was just absolutely down to earth this cut really got me emotional to where I even teared I’m I love with the new me and the new friends I have made.this salon is a must visit.

They were able to achieve in one session what I’ve spent 2 years of hair nightmares trying to achieve and that wasn’t even the most memorable part of my experience. I’m so happy with my hair they basically copy pasted the picture I showed them directly onto my head without taking any of the creative liberties hairdressers usually take. I’m only 21 so I don’t have children or a mortgage to worry about but I’m convinced a day in Portfolio is the solution to most of life’s ailments. I am a first time costumer so they had no reason to even notice me but still I was given a VIP experience (pictured bellow). They did my makeup, took all the pictures a girl could ever want and offered me coffee, tea and wine, which is so special to me but completely normal for their amazing professional environment (I saw them treat several other girls to the same dreamy experience). There was a person dedicated just to the maintenance and upkeep of the place and everything was so clean even a germaphobe like me felt comfortable accepting a drink while were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. It was as if I’d gotten to play pretend as Bella Hadid Kaia Gerber or another supermodel for the day I felt like a little kid at Disney World could not recommend it enough. Absolutely worth every cent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Portfolio Salon is the best salon in Miami. I have gone to Isreal for 12 years and do not trust anyone to do my hair but him. He colors, highlights, lowlights snd cuts my hair perfectly. The customer service is fantastic. I recommend this salon, particularly Isreal, for any adult or child. You will love how you look when you leave!

Amazing salon. The salon is light, airy and very welcoming. Lili has set the bar for a fabulous salon experience. I have been a client for over 30 years. It is well worth the drive from Broward county. I have tried other stylists and salons, but nothing comes close to the energy of Portfolio. All of the stylists are exceptional . Yamil ( hair stylist) is such a great professional, that making my appointment with Portfolio for his services I am always sure in the result and straight timing that salon is providing. It is a full service salon. Clean and paying attention to details. Pretty busy. So my recommendation is to make an appointment.

This is an internal review coming from a potential employee, The owner Lilly appears in every way and shape to be manic in ever sense of the word. Poor communication and lack of direction led to the party leaving their current position to come work at Portfolio salon and was soon after released without cause or notice. It would appear that the owner had a sudden change of heart that borders on the edge of fraud and discrimination. This type of behavior should not be tolerated by ANY business and if the services provided here are on par with the owners business ethics and acumen I would reconsider receiving a service from this establishment.

Lilly, the owner does my hair and that of my moms. To me, they are the best salon in town. Everyone I have sent there has had their hair completely transformed. To think of al the time and money I spend jumping from salon to salon, never satisfied. Never quite getting the New York quality hair I wanted. Just superior work.If it werent for Lilly I would still be wearing my hair in a ponytail 24/7. From observation it seems she runs a pretty tight ship and the majority of the stylists are just as professional and talented.I cant recommend the salon enough.

I love my hair dresser and have been going to Portfolio for a very long time. Sad to say but I must agree with some of the comments about the receptionist, staff. Last time I went I also left with a bad taste in my mouth because of the receptionist. They use to have a guy at the front desk which was very pleasant but ever since he left the girl that took his place needs to understand that she has a job because of the customer that love Portfolio. I think they should put her to clean the floors and take her away from the front desk. Important position that needs to have a kind person greeting customer in person and on the phone. Even when you call to make an appointment she has a hearing problem and does not try to accommodate you in any way . I almost hung up last time I called to make an appointment because of her rudeness. The only reason I did make an appointment is because I truly love the way they cut hair. The receptionist name is Shaddel. Thats what she said when I asked her name . Honesty is the best policy and I am very honest ! Other than that I rate Portfolio a 5! Sorry Shaddel but someone needs to tell you the truth.

I have been a loyal client of Lilis and the Portfolio team for over 2 decades and always feel welcomed and pampered. Lili is an exceptional stylist and knows how to cut my short style perfectly. When I was pregnant and didnt want to use a color treatment on my hair because of the chemicals, Lili created a natural henna coloring and used it throughout my term to make me feel comfortable and safe for my baby girl on the way. Mia gives you a wonderful and relaxing hand massage along with your manicure. Caroline at the front desk is always pleasant and professional. I have referred countless friends and family that still go to Portfolio for their services.

I went to Portfolio salon with healthy virgin hair. I trusted the job (ombré highlights) on this guy who damaged my hair so bad, i wish i could post photos.They didnt even offered me recovery treatment, even though i asked for it.The owner was not very responsible about what happened and she was RUDE.Thank God Larraya fixed my hair (shes good) the best she could with what i had left, so that i wouldnt be embarrassed about my hair anymore. Of course i had to cut off a lot of it 😢Very bad experience, they made me feel very helpless

Ive been going there for more than a year. I trust Kelly way too much to even tell her how to do my hair she just does the magic. Shes honest if something wont look good shell tell me and warn me ahead.

Been a longtime customer of Portfolio Salon (over 13 years now), and Carlos whos absolutely one of the best stylists Ive ever been to. Left Miami 5 years ago but when I return (which is thankfully several times a year) always pay a visit for my perennial makeover!

Ive been a longtime customer of Portfolio and unfortunately have to agree that their biggest challenge has always been the reception staff. However, the stylists and estheticians are truly talented. Ive been Miyas client for about 9 years now and shes nothing short of amazing at her craft. If you can get over the front desk staff (and, in fairness, not all of them are unprofessional), you can have quality service in a nice environment.

I just had an unacceptable experience at La Bella Salon last week, of which I was a loyal client for 3 years and it sealed the deal that I would never go back. Luckily, the issue was the owner and the front desk, not my beloved stylist, Rosvelt, and he recommended this salon saying theyre great and, specifically for my case, Fabian does fantastic work. OMG. I am almost happy the owner mistreated me at La Bella Salon or I never wouldve seen the inside of this place.It is *impeccably* clean, which is a vast difference from the previous salon. It is quiet and calm, again, a stark contrast. There were more clients in there today than on a busy day in La Bella Salon and it was so quiet and relaxing, I felt like at a spa, I forgot how getting your hair done isnt just a must-do for those of us with grays, but a lovely pampering experience! Everyone is very courteous and professional. Also, its a full salon - mani/pedi (I only did my hair but they had a huge variety of Essie and OPI colours), they have a facial area in the back I didnt get to see, and, it is just BEAUTIFUL. Fabian really listened to what I like for my hair and decided on what would be the best colour mix and plan to get me there and its already been corrected quite a bit (among other things, La Bella Salons attention to clients went down hill since they try to pack way too many people in, I didnt even realise how much colour correcting had to be done but Fabian thought of options to get me back to non-brassy roots rather than just copy/pasting the same routine as always).Theres so much natural light, high ceilings, beautiful and simple decor, and its all so well lit that the colour you see in the salon is actually the true colour of your hair since its so bright with natural light - no risk of leaving the salon with what you think is one colour and getting home to a different one.My mum and I had that horrible experience last week and I literally left the salon crying because it was so uncalled for and out of the blue... now, Im suddenly so happy it happened because it led me to this beautiful new experience. I had totally forgotten getting your hair done is an experience youre supposed to look forward to and enjoy rather than a chore and I really do look forward to my next visit here.
